Recently, I decided to organize my files and have used your suggestions. I realized that many of the subjects I organized are also in my OneNote - Is there a way to see what I have in OneDrive in OneNote? 2) You made this video a few months ago - Microsoft has said that OneNote is going away next year. Am I risking all this work in OneNote to soon find the App is no longer available?
One note is your memory back up. Hence more close to you than any other application. I watch one of your One note video, and one of your outlook video everyday
This was some really good information. I have a question though. At the 10:00 mark you show meeting details being imported into a note page. Is there a way to lock down, or standardize where that container loads on the page? I've creted a template with an Agenda section and a task section and no matter where I put these sections it seems like when I try to import the meeting details OneNote loads them right on top of my Agenda container. I even created a template that had a meeting detail container in it, thinking I'd just have to delete that container and then insert the correct one, and it still put it over my other containers.
This is a great question and a common challenge when working with templates and imported content in OneNote. Unfortunately, OneNote doesn't offer a native way to control where imported content, like meeting details, will appear on a page. You may want to try to leave a large, empty space on the page above or below your agenda and task sections. Alternatively, you might want to try to add a static heading (like “Meeting Details Placeholder”) where you'd prefer meeting details to appear can sometimes help guide OneNote’s placement. Hello. I am trying to use Microsoft OneNote to create an e-portfolio for my graduate school capstone course. However, it will not allow me to upload files because the various buttons are "grayed out" and so I cannot click on any of them. I am guessing that I have to somehow change permissions. Do you have any advice or tips? Thank you.
I decently enjoy using one note on my computer when I can't organize and use the other functions from the OneNote app on my tablet. The only thing I don't like is how minimalized/simple it is on an android tablet/phone. I like versatility and options but the app on android is still way behind and, in many cases, very buggy. I may have to switch note taking apps for the sole purpose of versatility. Once Microsoft actually make the app up to date on android then I'll use it again.
Got the “Digital Architect” today. This kind of information and training you get no where. I think 95 percent of the world keep a haphazard laptop, because they were never trained otherwise. This booklet, attempts to address this. I work in an organisation with 10,000 employees, everyone keeps paper file back up, because they know files in computer get lost. With the standardisation that Digital Architect offers, there is hope out of the mess.

Thank you for the content. It helps find different ways to work with technology and become more productive. I was excited with some of the features, but some are outdated. I am using the latest version of Outlook. When I flag a line, it opens up the older version of Outlook. It seems the flag to Outlook does not work with the latest addition of Outlook. It is a cool feature, and perhaps there is a way to re-direct this function to open in the new version of Outlook. I also do not see the OneNote insert in the new Outlook calendar version. It seems they are starting to focus on Loop as a solution.

Hi i had a small issue, i want to do linear notetaking, i dont want floating boxes but rather all the information together linearly, like a long essay for example. Any idea if we can do linear note taking in onenote? And if so, how?

I have spent data trying to get my data recovered into one note. The syncing has been really terrible and at this point I am totally giving up with One note. I can't put up with this terrible sync via Microsoft. Do you have an alternative you can suggest please.
I just got to know about onenote, I'm thinking to use it for notetaking for my clg. But I don't like two things. It's infinite caanvas and no ability to pan around with stylus and keyboard! :(
I like OneNote a lot but I keep getting messages telling me that I have run out of storage space, and this is after I have paid for extra space and have a subscription. This is very annoying because this doesn’t happen with other note taking apps
is it possible to have one note both on your pc and phone, with the same content in it? I usually don't carry my computer and take my notes w the phone, then I edit and organize them at a later time on my computer. Thanks
Hi , I add multiple images in a notebook and write some important things on every image using my stylus pen. Now when I delete one of the picture from above below images and their respective notes (written by stylus) are not aligned...I am frustrated..Any idea how to fix this??
Hi, I have never tried this. However, you might want to try to pin the notes to the pictures with right clicking on the notes. Alternatively, you could add the notes as Metadata to the picture?!
what I find annoying is the switching back and forth between One Note interface and the host. It's a guide to use OneNote, so why not just sticking to its interface. So annoying
Why do you keep shifting from the app to seeing your face? Please, this is a good video I feel but I'm possibly going to stop because I need to follow on the app not by looking at the speaker!
