      Flo Shaban I think he was more explaining how it seems this channel has _really_ seemed to be enjoying logitech products. It seems more and more that they are picking the more professional choice. (i.e. getting possible sponsorship/already being sponsored) He really meant to say it wasn't a fair comparison, more of they chose logitech because they want logitech's support.

    I've had the Razer Naga for about a year and broke... switched to the G600 and have never been more pleased. I was always a Razer fan, but, in the end I ended up with mostly Logitech stuff. Especially the G19 keyboard... damn, although it has dome keys I am still as good as when i've used mechanical keys. The slight difference doesn't really matter.

      I recall my naga feeling quite a bit better in my small hands, the only advantage

    • @bhvrd
      @bhvrd 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Brent Jansma My Naga lasted 1 1/2 years, the mouse wheel just went to complete pot and the mouse would actually cutout while in use, never liked the laser from the start as it never seemed as accurate as my old logitech, which btw lasted 5 years and only had to get a new one cause I yanked the cord out on accident. Have recently gotten the G600 and already have been reminded of solid design and laser quality, the side buttons are a bit more technical but I find the notches make it where I actually look at the mouse much less than with the Naga.
      Don't even get me started on the Razer Synapse software, it's beyond terribly bad, resource hog, bad profile switching and ridiculous long updates, just so terribly bad they have to change the software before I even ever consider purchasing another one. Logitech Gaming Software switches on the fly, fast and flawless, quick updates and not even close to a resource hog.
      Now after looking back I would only reconsider Naga if they did a major redesign across the board, it was nice at first but just wasn't built to last and never as solid feeling as a logitech at all.

    Had the razer naga 2014 now for 2 years and the laser started to act weird right when warranty run out. I used the mouse every day for 8 - 24 hours (yes I game a lot!) and at least these 2 years it did not break. Just right after though.
    No damage, no dirt, no software or hardware cause and I will probably get a G600 now. I can confirm all these stuff in this video (the 2014 does have a 4 way wheel though not like the old only scrolling).
    I used it for every type of game, shooters, rpgs, mmos and I simply can't use any mouse anymore without at least 10 keys on the side and stuff like 8200 dpi (yes that's not as much if you configurated your mouse in windows correctly and turn it down in games). Because the corsair scrimitar is not available in Germany until 2016 and the side buttons are probably easy to miss because there is no indicator on which side button row your finger is, even though it seams to be a good mouse overall. So check that out too if you read this comment.

    Hi Nick, I asked this on their comments/discussion. The new Razer is more in-line as a competitor and answer to the G600. They key questions are about the shape/feel and responsiveness of the side buttons; whether or not the lack of a third click (Gshift G600) button makes the Razer less desirable and the overall feel of the two devices.

    Not sure why anyone thinks a Naga is better, razer can't make software for shit. Nagas have terrible power management and will have connection issues when sharing with other high-powered devices such as other razer products, or large usb hard drives.
    Also, some of the worst customer service comes from razer, they give chrome looks to overrate plastic garbage. Logitech is just the solid company, they make some shit that really doesn't impress me, but at least they never make shit with goals that they really cannot accommodate for. Naga's are small and their "large" extensions are a bigger Tiny mouse at best. From finger to palm-edge my hands are almost 9 inches. Little girls typically don't use Naga's. Younger, men, adults typically do. I expected it to be at least a reasonable size to fit closer to my freakish pianist hands.
    Logitech's software should be the reason you DON'T buy a naga. Razer Synapse is a fucking joke. Programmers would be disgusted with the exclusiveness of its ability. They really should have beta tested it properly before hand. Their beta test required all people upgrade to the new version and it didnt work with half of their devices for YEARS. For example the Razer Megalodon headset does not work with windows 7, some random guy made a fix for it and razer gives a link to his download page to fix it.
    Compare Logitech Gaming Software to Razer Synapse. Logitech wins.

    • @krookimuss
      @krookimuss 9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Agree, but the problem with Logitech lies in the software. It's rare (which is great) But very difficult to fix, and on thier forums some critical issues has been going on for 2-3 years. Eventhough this doubbleclicking is driving me insane, i still can't hate my g600.
      My naga, on the other hand, lies with a right and left click stuck, a slow scroll and a laggy response+some broken buttons. Now that's what i call quallity!

    • @xcelljy
      @xcelljy 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    The original Naga was the best Naga. These new versions are complete crap. I had my original naga for 3 years and I had to replace it due to it finally crapping out after many many hours. THe new naga had a broken button 3 months in and it has a uniform button feel making it hard to tell which buttons you're on.

    • @icejj365
      @icejj365 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I agree I got my 2014 Razer Naga back in 2014 when it was released and its shitting right now, usb plugin cord is getting all fucked up the mouse constantly freezes, you need specific settings in order for the mouse not to freak out when you lift it and set it back down on the mousepad. I wouldn't recommend any new razer naga either to anyone watching this video currently. The quality is still ass even after two years. They released the razer naga epic chroma, and that has the same problem so you'd be safe buying a G600.

  • @DesuVR

    I have the Molten Naga and its design is very fitting to it as it DOES get warm which always causes my palm to sweat. Unless its the winter season, I have to go wash my hands and wipe off my Naga after a session of gaming. I may want to switch over now after watching this, thanks!

  • @naycnay
    @naycnay 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yup. Q for quick change, but they'll always roll 2 clicks on the scroll to get you with that knife. Or they can go back one or two for the various nades.
    During a brawl, you don't release wasd for the number buttons. Most decent older FPS players will be very proficient with the scroll wheel. Same in the Quake days.

      +Christian Angelo Nilsén As a user of both Razer and Logitech, Logitech have the most software bugs and I"ve yet to come across any software issues with Razer.
      My Logitech G910 keyboard and G930 headset both have software issues and Logitech are still sending out software fixes for the keyboard (one got released not 4 days ago fixing the lighting leds cause a previous patch prevented us from getting orange and purple on our leds, another patch 5 months ago switched off the leds on our media keys permenently and was fixed 2 months later), when I first got it last year I put it on the star effect lighting mode and it caused a memory leak causing the logitech gaming software to use up to 14GB of RAM. You can even go to the logitech forums and see a dude who posted a screenshot of his logitech gaming software using up to 24GB of RAM, and you say Razer software sucks? have you even used Razer software?!

    I have used the naga for about a year and a half and the thing is worn out already. The buttons double and triple click because the metal is worn out. After looking into this, I am not the only one to have this problem, it's pretty common. You may be a little cautious if your thinking about getting the naga. Mine is unusable atm, and should be getting my g600 in the mail in a few days, can't wait.

I'm thinking of getting G600 because I've had my Naga for about 3 years I want to say, and it's starting to do this double click thing whenever I click the left mouse button. I've searched for remedies to this but, Razer reccommends that I re-install the drivers, which didn't work. While people online say I have to actually take apart the thing which I don't feel comfortable doing.

    I must comment that they are using the old naga in this review. The new 2012 razer Naga (green one) has some noticeable differences. The coating is different, the right side is interchangeable with 3 different sides, also they moved 2 of the buttons.

    I'm on my 3rd Naga and the biggest issue I have, besides the gamer gunk as they called it, is the right mouse click. After a lot of use, it starts to get a "doubeclick" issue, with the issue being that when you click once, it clicks 1-4 times almost instantly. It's also extremely hard to keep the button pressed down as it'll register multiple small clicks while doing so. If you're playing any game that uses the right click, such as an FPS or an MMO, you can imagine how frustrating that gets.

  • @TheNetGoblin
    @TheNetGoblin 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I would liek to mention that the early Razer Naga's also have a manufacturing defect that can make your right button double click when you press it intermittently. It's been a huge issue with mine and Razer fixed it in newer version but beware if buying them that this is a common occurrence in the older ones.

    It’s mid August 2018 as I type this and I’ve had my glorious G600 since 2013. After 5 years of constant, vigorous use, it’s finally giving me problems. Double clicking and losing its tracking. I see people with their razer nagas saying they had to replace theirs 2 or 3 times. It took 5 years for me to replace mine. The build quality of the G600 is amazing. But of course, no mouse lasts forever.
    I was actually thinking about getting the Razer Naga Trinity just because it’s something different, but I think I’m just going to go ahead and buy another G600 seeing as how fucking reliable it is.
    The side buttons are designed purely for your thumb, it has a ring finger third mouse button which you can program to shift or any other key, and the scroll wheel tilts left and right giving you 2 more key bindings or shortcuts.The Naga doesn’t have any of that. Not even the Razer Naga Trinity which is their latest version as of August 2018.
    It’s true what they say, Razer quality has gone down and their prices have gone up. I’ve been using Logitech products since I was a kid and all of my Logitech peripherals work like a charm. That’s one brand I can rely on when it comes to gaming.
    TL;DR: Get a G600 if you want a GOOD mmorpg mouse. It lasts longer and has better button options. Don’t even think about it, just do it.

    I've a Razer naga for like 4 years and Tarantula keyboard since always, they are both working fine, it scares me the amount of people that says their Razer products just break within months. I don't know if you guys are unlucky or if you rage too much and your mouses fly all across the room. I'll be buying the new Naga version again, the only thing i don't like too much about Razer is the size of their mouses, aside from that it's all good with me.

    While I haven't been to the top of the ladder, I've been quite high, and that without any fancy keyboards or mice. However, when I started to play PvP as a feral druid, things started to change. Damn, they need a lot of skills on the bars, and I just felt like using Q, E, R, T, F, V and G along with 1-5 made me extremely stressed out when I got to certain situations. That's what made me buy a Naga. To get some buttongs that are easily available. It didn't make me better, but more comfortable.

    i have had the g600 for about 2 years now and only about 2 months ago something would happen where the mouse would glitch in game and make my person look down very fast, this happens in all of the games i play ie. payday 2, minecraft, insurgency etc. also the button where your ring finger sits starts to stick after a bit of use. this is just to help anyone that wants the g600

    All the extra buttons don't mess anything up for me. I tend to bind weapon swap/melee (if available) onto the numbers. If it doesn't mess up my aim in Quake/UT/Tribes then it's not going to mess my aim up in anything else. If the Naga didn't have as much weight as it does then maybe it might be a problem but you can press the buttons without it moving the mouse around.

    The Naga I purchased in 2012 (I think, might have been 2011) ran hot as well. When I turned off the LED's it no longer ran hot. I liked the Naga a lot, but it's too small for my hands (I'm a tall, big guy), and it caused some major hand/wrist fatigue and pain on "click heavy" games like Diablo. I miss it so much, which is why I wonder if the G600 might be big enough to have the right comfort for me and be a replacement to my long lost Naga. I love the 12 button grid.

    Easily, friend! 1: The double click issue, 2: The 'mouse spasm' as I believe it is called issue, 3: Due to the way it was made the firmware was unable to be updated, 4: There are issues with the software for it, and 5: The Avaga 9800 sensor which is used in the mouse is known to have input lag.
    So it is known, I use this mouse and I do like it, and would recommend it to people - but that doesn't mean it is without faults. So maybe drop the aggression, eh?

Came here to see which one is better, naga or G600 and i think i'll buy the G600.

    I'm planning on picking up a G600 sometime next week. I've used the Naga in the past and burnt through 2 in less than 2 years, I wasn't very satisfied with the reliability, nor the size as I have "spider" hands. (long thin fingers) Anyways after the Naga's failed me I went with a Mad Catz R.A.T 7. Yet another failure, I liked the physical design of the mouse but the sensor was complete crap right out of the box. If I barely bumped my knee on my desk the cursor would go skating across the screen, or if I had my sub woofer turned up the sensor would pick up the vibrations and make the cursor dance all over..
    So then I discovered AZIO. I bought my first mechanical keyboard as an AZIO the L3vetron Mech 5. Aside from being bulky its been a great keyboard, and my only complaint is the poor software. Shortly after I picked up the AZIO G8 mouse as a replacement to my R.A.T, and fell in love with it almost immediately. Perfect size for my hand, nice button layout, smooth tracking, I have no complaints other than the software. It was a great purchase for my action and shooter games. I also picked up the AZIO L3vetron Headset, for voice chat and after dark entertainment. Sub woofers are a little obnoxious in the middle of the night when I'm watching action movies. But anyways this headset has been my best one to date. Decent software, when compared to AZIO's other peripherals, great bass, huge comfy ear cups (I wear glasses, this was important), and the mic works well. I'm impressed with AZIO and hope they improve their software support/features in the future.
    So to wrap this up (sorry for all the rambling), I've been reading/watching reviews as I'm in the market for a MMO mouse and eventually a keyboard with better software support. I'm pretty much sold on the Logitech G600, and I'm leaning towards getting the Logitech G910 Orion Spark in a month or two. I've owned several Logitech products in the past for PC and Console and never had issues with the hardware or software. So I'm definitely gonna go with a more reliable brand this time.

  • @AvixusGaming
    @AvixusGaming 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    1-2 are both HEAVILY documented, as per hundreds of forum complaints, 3 is a technical thing, it cannot be updated with firmware, and there is a very known software issue between going off of on-board memory or auto game detect, feels like you're trying to justify the purchase to yourself and ignore the flaws, they're very well known if you have a look around. Also mouse spasming is actually more commonly known as "Cursor jump" so my mistake.

    Also, why is the ring click on the G600 not mentioned for it's advertised functionality - It's coined by Logitech as "G-Shift", and the ring click can actually be used as a pseudo-shift button. While you're holding the ring click (when it is given the "G-Shift functionality), all of the other buttons can have a SECOND function assigned to them, similar to how "Shift+C" can be assigned a different function than just "C".

    Some people below have dissed on logitech's support. I was having an issue with my old G9 mouse and they sent a new one, no questions asked. They didn't even bother giving me an RMA. To me that is top notch support right there. It came in 2 days. So while the problem was minor (with the cable coating sheath ripping and getting tangled and the mouse itself shedding its coating), they still were awesome about it. By far my best mouse to date. Looking at the G600 tho.

    I have got the new naga 2012, and my little brother has the G600, now something that I like about the naga is that your pinky rests on the mouse. And does not claw around it. That's probably because i have been using the naga for months and I am very used to it. So that is hard to say. The naga looks better as well in my opinion, but that isn't really important right? The G600 does have quite a few functionalities that the naga does not have. My conclusion is that they are both extremely awesome

    This also applies to Logitech mouses as well, I've had several Logitech mouses over the year and they have all broken down on me after around a year of use.
    I think that people got to accept that mouses to day, no matter what brand, won't last you longer the one to two years depending on what you use it for.

    I bought the g600 recently and I am not disappointed. People say that there is a delay on this mouse and this is true at first but installing the drivers and updating the firmware removes the lag completely. And setting the G-shift button to something like Control works much better. Its very comfortable in every way (for me anyway) and works great for fps as you cant really press the buttons on the side by accident. There are no side buttons for back and forward, instead they are replaced by a tilting scroll wheel which works great. Great mouse, would recommend.

    One thing to mention is that these are palm mouses (kind obvious because of the plethora side buttons), meaning you mostly use the base of your palm to move them. This is a very personal thing but many people don't like these kinds of mouses, so try before you buy!
    While Logitech makes nice products, I have come to doubt their reliability. 3 G5 mouses my friends have had for about 2-3 years have died on them. Me and a friend that bought Razer Copperheads 6 years ago are still going strong.
