Guys i have this mouse, its freakin amazing for the price ($30). It has fully programmable macros and RGB lighting, screw RAZER and their crappy overpriced junk, i had the razer naga and it barely lasted 3 months of light use.
I still use my 2012 naga, and still going strong. It accompanied me through many wow raids without ever breaking down. You have a 2 year warranty, I suggest you use it.
lol i think you might get ripped off buddy, those people you bought it from have no feedback and are new accounts, i suggest you get your money back while you still can.
My wife bought this for me to go with my recent PC build, and after having used it for a few weeks now, I can say that I really like this mouse. I don't have a frame of reference for any of the comprable high end mouses like it, since this is the first real gaming PC I've built, and the first time I've had a mouse that wasn't just a plain old HP/Dell standard issue job. That said, I really enjoy having all those buttons right there on the mouse. I don't even play MMO's that much, but I still use them a lot. At 40 bucks, I'd say it's worth real consideration for anyone looking for a mouse like this.
My first proper gaming mouse was from Razer like 10 yrs ago. After that one I played many years with MX's and generally liked them, despite still fondly remembering my old Diamondback. Fast forwarding to a couple of years ago I decided to give Razer a try and bought Razer's Abyssus, which to my shock was a dreadful piece of equipment, the kind of garbage you wouldn't wish nobody, even your worst nemesis in Battlefield, to be stuck with. The first one broke in like 1 month (wiring exposed + one button broke almost simultaneously, light casual use). Got a replacement from amazon and that POS also broke within 2 months of opening the box. I am dismayed how a gaming-oriented company like Razer thinks they can stab their customers in the back by coming up with that kind of, well lets be honest, shit. Literally every 15-30€ laptop mouse I've owned has been a better gaming mouse than that arguably entry-level, but still gaming mouse, Abyssus. Build quality issues and even the fact that they went forth with this mouse, which was just plain horrible evaporated any goodwill I had with the company and all I can say is, a lot has to happen for me to consider one of their products again. I have been far more satisfied with my Logitechs and Microsoft mouses. /endrant
Razer is lol. Imperator 2012 I got as a gift had double click issue in only less than a month. Not surprising considering they spent all the money on marketing. On the other hand the Roccat Kone Pure Optical I bought for 250HKD in a promotion (that's 32USD) is still good as new after years of abuse. Not trying to make this sound like hard sell, but Razer stuff is just pure money grab to me while Roccat/Logitech are really trying to make good quality gaming peripherals with a passion.
Had this mouse for two years or so after buying it on amazon for just 35 dollars. It's much better tahn mice that costs three times as much out there like the naga. The software is fine as well. I was very sad when the left msb became loose enough to start double clicking on everything.
I've had this mouse for almost over two years now and I cannot reccomend it enough, although I don't think you can buy it anymore. It feels great, moves great, accuracy is great, everything! The led's look awesome, the dpi switch is super helpful, and the side number buttons don't take as much force to press as he mentions and I use them a lot. I've had absolutely no issues with this mouth in the time that I've had it, and it's still going strong!
I watched several tutorials to clean my Naga and this was, by far, the best. Thanks for sharing the pro tip about just lifting the corners of the tactile bottom material (I totally thought that was B.S. other people were suggesting to the world to just rip the whole thing off) and the details on cleaning the different components. Also, gj recommending against WD-40 - all around this was entirely not stupid and made perfect sense. Personally, I used Q-tips with tech grade isopropyl alcohol, but if anyone reading this has some iso and thinks they can do what I did, PLEASE DON'T!!! Rubbing alcohol or other regular alcohols, isopropyl or otherwise, WILL BREAK YOUR $#!7!!! It is ESSENTIAL when cleaning electronics to use TECHNICAL GRADE isopropyl alcohol, as it is 99.999% alcohol (thus no water) and it evaporates really quick. It's the main effective constituent of most consumer products like the one mentioned in this video, but is more risky to use as it is in liquid form and requires some delicate handling. If you leave the lid off too long, it will actually draw moisture from the air and no longer be anhydrous (does not contain water), which will cause it to fry your electronics. It's also not pleasant on skin/eyes/mouth/etc, so if you're a consumer-level nerd, go for the commercial lubricants. I'm picky about what cleaning products I use and usually make my own or use pure ingredients responsibly. You can get tech-grade iso at Fry's or a store that sells electronic components or possibly computer parts. And the internet :P I also used compressed air in the very beginning to knock off big dust and at the end to accelerate even and clean drying, but again: use responsibly. This one's a bit more straightforward and covered in warnings, but you have to use the hose (make sure you buy one the hose wasn't already stolen from) to get into the cracks and crevasses and you MUST hold the can upright the whole time, not at any kind of angle. Move the mouse around the hose, not the hose around the mouse. ......Or the mose around the house...... At any rate, sorry for passionately ranting for so long and occasionally yelling. Great video! I modulated the methods to my lifestyle (and the things I keep around the house - isopropyl alcohol being the only petroleum distillate I'd ever use) and wound up with an extremely clean mouse that I've had for about 4 or 5 years and have never cleaned. I even got the scroll wheel to stop squeaking! Thanks again!
The reason why I find G600 irreplaceable and rock one to this day with 5 spares in my drawer in case they stop making them is the 3rd button under ring finger. Honestly why not a single mouse out there has this? Used to be a common thing before clickable scroll wheels...
ive had this mouse for over a year now and its still going strong. I absolutely love the little "fire" butting that sits on at the front, left corner. I set it as "F" in PUBG and for the grenade button on other FPS games.
I have this mouse as well, and it is amazing for the $40 pricepoint. I came from a Razer Naga Epic and it took some getting used to, but if the Razer drivers drive you crazy like they did with me, this is a great choice. Omron switches, sure, but at this pricepoint it's easy to replace after a few years. The side keys are a lot easier to differentiate from vs. the Naga, seeing as each row slightly faces a different direction.
i bought it for the side buttons and size, dpi specs not interested as I use anywhere from 400 to 950 (csgo) but those side buttons are amazing for smokes, nades, molotovs, and weapon switching
Buying a used Logitech G600 is cheaper than UtechSmart Venus / Redragon Perdition and the G600 is much better engineered. The ring finger modifier button (they call it “G-Shift” or something like that) effectively gives you 24 thumb buttons. While overwhelming at first, once you’ve accustomed to the great shortcuts and macros you can set these to, you really don’t want to go back to any less. I recommend buying a G600 from the start.
I use 5600DPI but I think this one would be great for when jumping up to a 4K display, as the extra DPI (not all of it) would make the mouse move a lot smoother without have to drag your arm across the desk.
I am using Genius GX Gaming Gila and I love it. If I had to change my mouse then I would probably pick Logitech G502 Proteus Core. This mouse looks good for its price too but I dont think that having so many buttons on thumb would be comfortable for me. I am not MMO player but I can use more buttons on mouse while playing Arma III.
Using mine right now and it's not bad. Customization is detailed but not was not well designed in the software. The purpose of the wheel color was to show you what profile you're currently using in the software, you can not change the colors yourself unfortunately. I was using a Vengeance M60 before my dog chewed the cables, and to ME at least it feels just as good. Your information pretty much made my mind about getting it and I'm not disappointed :B Thanks
I bought this mouse after Fallout 4 bricked my G600 when it crashed. I've been using this as a daily for over 4 years. I love the removable weights it comes with. I'll only upgrade if we ever see the gen 1 Tek Syndicate Standard Issue mouse again : ) This mouse is great for any game. I don't play MMO's but I like having the 12 buttons on the side for any game whether it be a FPS or and RPG. It helps distribute the work around so its not all on the left hand.
I paid silly money for a left handed version of the Razer Naga 2014. I've since recovered from the hole it put in my wallet and we're very happy together. I especially appreciate the way Razer update the driver all the time with little tweaks to improve it in tiny smidgen ways. But that's not what's being discussed here so I'll shut my cake hole and let y'all get back to UtechSmart Venus chat.
I purchased this mouse and had to return it...the buttons on the side are not easy to press. You really have to push them super hard and after an hour of gaming my thumb was in pain. Before this mouse I used Razer mice but the problem was they kept breaking and they are very expensive. My current mouse is the G600, it doesn't require pushing super hard for the side buttons to work and I like how the g600 is a big mouse, fits my hand perfectly. If Utechsmart make the side buttons easy to use I am sure more people will buy their product.
Isn't the small button next to the left-click button on the UtechSmart used for some additional "fire" option (like repeat left-click 3 times), while the button for your ringfinger on the Logitch/Razer mouse has the "shift" option, which lets you put an additional binding for each of the 12 buttons on the left? So two completely different things or can you actually change both buttons to work like the other one too?
This is one of the best bang for the buck mouse I use it for MMORPGs (wow) and shooters as well (BF4) could be better but for $30 bucks its an AMAZING mouse with all the features it packs good luck trying to find those features on a similarly priced mouse
Thank you for this video, im entering in to the PCMR arena and it made my decition so easy now, 5 BILLION mouse options and not enough time to see them all. :D
Does this mouse have the double/no click issue the G600 has? From what I understand, the G600 has a design flaw that builds up static in low humidity, and being in S Arizona does not help if that is true.
excellent review, i couldn't hear the clicks very well, i consider that an important factor in my buying decision as i like to do late night surfing and gaming while others might prefer to sleep. So is this mouse a soft/quiet clicker ? i hate my naga cuz its switches for left and right buttons are loud. i need the 12 buttons on the side for macros (like my naga), does the logitech&venus software allow long macros with lots of sequential key presses (10+ one after the other , not together)? oh and LL&P \v/
the Redragon M901 is the same mouse as this with a slightly different shell. If you're bothered by the little shiny piece in the middle the M901 uses a solid rough plastic texture, which I prefer. I had a logitech g600 that died and these mice do work out as a decent replacement and the switches are omron
Is the perdition plug and play? I plugged mine in and it did nothing except light up the LEDs. I have the drivers installed. But I tried moving the mouse around the screen and nothing happened.
It worked for both my PC and Mac without the drivers. The software just lets you set colors, custom dpi, and what each button does but you don't need anything to use the mouse. By default the red button is a triple click, and the side buttons are the number keys
the naga is meant for mmo but honestly its nice having those extra mapable buttons on the side in a few games i map the side buttons to specific weapons like in insurgency 1 button for my main 1 for my side arm 1 for nades ect so i can jump swap weapons without pulling off the wasd to hit a number key in games like gmod you can map your other options to it like in dark rp you can map fading doors to keys or in spacebuild map your ships keys to them it really is worthwhile having those keys available
sorry to be the guy, mate, but to correct, the Logitech G600 doesn't "have a button" on the ring-finger side... That ring finger button isn't macro-able, I don't think, it's actually for something pretty amazing. The 12 buttons on the thumb side.... That ring finger button makes them all A WHOLE OTHER SET of buttons. All addressable of course. To provide you with a whopping 24 buttons available with your thumb, 12 of them requiring you first hold the ring-finger button. Just thought you'd like to know. For some, that's a big feature. I am, however, thouroughly happy with this review, am making use of it, find it veritible and nourishing, and this is a small enough item you've missed. This, to be clear, is more for your update than a complaint by any means. Good work. I freaking love my G600.... but the poor bugger is about dead, it's buttons starting to peter out. Wondering if I should replace it identically or branch out. So thanks for the vid!
Hello, i use naga razer and after a few months i found out the usage in most of my games... first of all i play mostly dota, i use it as short cuts for calls like, good job, get back etc. in rainbow six siege i use it mainly for pings, swaping guns and special actions... in mmo like guild wars 2 i use it for spells and most of the use i have it in games like civ 6, endless legends, xcom series, because with that mouse i can literally play without keyboard :D
I am either getting this or the Logitech G600 for my first MMO mouse. Any suggestions? I currently use the Razer DeathAdder 2013 and I really want to purchase an MMO mouse. But, I kinda want a Razer Naga 2014 because it matches my black and green theme for my peripherals.
Braided cables twist, kink and then break easier because the braiding doesn't let the cable straighten. They're far less durable then non-braided cables. I know this from years of using different mice.
Are UtechSmart VENUS and Gamkoo Varanus the same? They look exactly the same except the G and S logo on the mouse. Is Gamkoo a copy or they both are just made from the same OEM factory. Anyone knows?
I purchased a UtechSmart Venus 50 to 16400 DPI High Precision Laser MMO Gaming Mouse from Amazon which was delivered yesterday, OMG I am totally Blown away by all of its Amazing features like the RGB lighting, the Weights underneath, it is Not only extremely responsive, but really comfortable to use! I also own a Razer Naga Molten MMO Gaming Mouse which was expensive to buy, where as this was only £29.99 to buy, I highly recommend this to anyone who wants affordable budget MMO Gaming Mouse without it costing you loads in money 😀
Does the extra power button work like the G600 G-shift Button? Can I click a side button and the power button at the same time and use it as my F1 skill in Guild wars 2?
I have a logitech m515 which i love(2 year battery life and its wireless) if i was to go for a high dpi mouse what differences would i notice(i only use keyboard and mouse for rts games everything else is played with a controller)?
I recommend this mouse for sure. Mine lasted almost four years of HEAVY gaming-think 4-8 hours a day on non-work/non-school days. The click is finally giving out on me now and plastic fumes are the only reason I’m not giving it a viking funeral. The G600 is on sale for very cheap right now, so I’ve decided to finally move on. If not for the sale I’d buy another Venus because I can’t understand paying full price for a Logitech or Razor with the Venus available.
I'm here looking at the venus as an option because I want the wireless option with all the side buttons. I've been using a G600 for the last 10-11 years and it's just been in the last year or so that it's started to have some issues. I've been extremely happy with the G600, except for the thing that the guy in the vid mentioned with the heavier braided cables which the G600 has. And I do think I'd rather have the extra left click button like on the Venus over the ring clicker on the G600. I used it a lot in my MMOs when I got the mouse, but that was actually the first thing to go belly up on me so I got used to just hitting Shift/Ctrl/Alt on my left hand while using the mouse buttons on the right hand. Which is fine, since the ring click only did Ctrl, anyways, so I was still having to use my left hand for modifiers already.
I've had this same mouse since august of 2014 and let me say it's a really good gaming mouse i play csgo mostly and dayz. nice to have a keyboard on the side of your mouse. 10/10
I used to use about 12000 dpi on FPS games for a couple of years. You don't move your hand at all. You literally just twitch your muscles to move the mouse around. It's kinda cool, but I ended up going down to 400 dpi in the past year.
how much does the mouse weigh? I have the mouse and I’m not sure if it’s light mouse or heavy because idj what either of them feels and i know they got the weighs in the mouse and I took out all of them to make it light but how much does it weight without the weighs?
The customizable led make me want to sell my naga...btw, is it normal that the muscle of my index finger get a bit painful if I use it to click the scroll wheel too many times?
Can you use this mouse with FFXIV Online on a PS4? If so, how do set it up, for I heard that it needs to be set up on a PC first? Thanks for your review.
I've been using this mouse for about a month and a half now. The Logitech is definitely better, but I prefer the right finger fire button of the Venus, but the side buttons of the g600 is superior by far. I would reccomend this mouse over the naga though. The naga just doesn't cut it for mmo.
I bought ReDragon Impact M908 for minecraft and my other games (i.e. Skyrim which it is very useful for the mouse). Idk if I regret it or not, I don't know if I should've bought the Storm M808, for those ReDragon users, please tell me for opinion for the better mouse, Impact M908 or Storm M808? Edit: My reason for asking is because the Redragon Impact M908 had the exact same look as the Utech Venus MMO mice
I use the G502 and I like it a lot. But, I've been thinking about switching to a MMO mouse because I like using the mouse buttons as much as possible. I think I'm gonna get the G600. What's the weight like compared to the G502?
Zero Suit Samus/Pikachu I ended up getting a g600. I like it. I like the sensor of the g502 a bit more but I love the shape of the g600 a lot more. The RGB lighting is nice too.
Does this have easier clicks (in terms of right and left click) then the naga, perdition and the g600? I'm buying whichever one I can click the fastest with
Cool! I own a UTechSmart Mouse and I really like it. The only thing I don't like about it is that there is no off option for my LED's. It also goes up to 8200 DPI, and that is even overkill but that's not a real issue that's just interesting to me at least.
I use 8200 atm, I put my fingers on the mouse pad and minutely control the mouse to the precise point I need and moving across the screen is a movement of about 1.5 inches. I use the Naga 2013 and Razer Vespula control side hard mat. Couldn't play an MMO without one of these uber-multi button mice.
I own an 8000 CPI "gaming" mouse by Anker.. would you ever review this thing? I'm reluctant to use it because it doesn't fit my grip. However, I do like having just three buttons on the thumb side. Also.. why does nobody address the issue of niche markets charging whatever they want for replacement mouse skates?! Replacement skates simply aren't available for some mice and it makes me grumpy. I'm not cheap enough to use polytetrafluoroethylene tape and far too lazy to cut my own from a sheet.
Thanks for the reviews in comparison to the naga and 600. I actually ordered a 600 the other day and should be here soon. Sending my semi broken naga to get replaced and not sure what ill be doing with the naga.
i wont switch my g600 for anything i tell you. the 3rd click is the keeper. 12 btns on the side its great meny mouses have that. but the 3rd click. (mine is binded to CTRL) so 12 more key binds. so i have 27 key binds on the mouse. 1-12 , CTRL , CTRL 1-12 . top btns. :)
+Bakeon^ Why would you ? ... I have an old SteelSeries WoW Gaming Mice, and just got a G600 Second Edition (with laser tracking and shit) ... Logitech uses High End components, "decent" software and are always researching new ways to increase peripherals performance. The fucking best MMO Mice buy is Logitech, hands down.
I think I might give this a try. Just purchased a Logitech G600 and I absolutely hate it. I have medium sized hands, and it is still way too small for a comfortable grip. Too small for a palm grip, no thumb rest and the 3rd top click button prevents you from using your ring finger to stabilize or rest. I do like the software and the G-Shift function that effectively doubles your button count, but due to its small size, it's just a pain in the hand and a pain in the ass to control.
Ryan Copeland I totally agree. The G600 is not a bad mouse at all. It's very solid and responsive, and the software is far better than Razer's Synapse 2.0 (I have an Orbweaver). It was my mistake in purchasing it in the first place. I should have taken the time to find it in a brick and mortar store and get a feel for it before purchasing online.
The glossy plastic piece is there so you can grip it with pure friction from your palm. I barely grab the mouse as my hand is almost limp when using this mouse. The soft touch is more on the slippery side so the glossy piece deffinately helps. I use 3200 dpi with max sensitivity so I have no need to lift my mouse. Very comfortable for long gaming sessions.
yeah my friend picked it up, but the lip on the side needs to be less thick or longer, and some rubber on the pinky part, but hey i was suprised of the quality of it
Maybe take a look at A4Tech's X7 lineup of gaming mice? They've got the neat 4th button on top of the mouse right beside the left mouse button. Also, they're dirt cheap. (A4Tech's X7 lineup also has keyboards like the GV800, which I like a lot, but they aren't mechanical, so...?) That is, if they're available in the US (I know they're available here in Bulgaria, but that doesn't say much in this regard as we get all sorts of Chinese products around here).
Awesome mouse - if you don't want to spend out on the corsair m95 then buy this (ignore the razer and logitech offerings as this mouse is basically as good for a lot less) - yep I bought one. I like Tek syndicates reviews but I wish they'd show the included software more in depth and give opinions on it, a 3 second zoomed out snap shot isn't adequate, regardless I can confirm it is extremely easy to use and covers everything you need allowing the mouse to trigger literally every single button and media keys on your keyboard including easy to set up/record macros. Anyway I'm totally happy with this mouse (£40 in the UK, about $62) - its gonna be my "other" mouse for rpg/rts/mmo's (as intended) whilst I use either a func ms3 or mionnix naos 8200 (depending how heavy the mionnix is considering no weights) for fps duties.
i used this for 30 days to see how I like and am returning it today. It's got some acceleration issues I don't like. I tried turning it down and played with it but still can't get it to be at a constant.
I"m currently using 2200 cpi with my naga 2012 edition on a 23" 1080p screen. Then again: 1. I don't like having to physical move my mouse up and down and side to side for a HUGE distance because, 2. I have LESS than 7" left and right and less than 8" forward and backwards towards me for physical mouse-room movement on my keyboard's tray of my pc desk.
I just got new one from amazon , I connected to it to my PC , the macro number keys light up but the dragon does not and nothing works , installed the driver from the cd and tried from their website , please help me if you've faced this issue , or knows how to fix it . Also , nice video keep it up
i use a 12 button mouse and i bind those buttons on my numpad so i can still use my 1-5 on keyboard. However i want to get a keyboard thats smaller. Can i still bind my side buttons to the num pad if i get a keyboard without a numpad ?
I just got it. i see in ur review that the color on ur wheel changes and mine doesnt . or i dont know how to do it!? mine is stuck on yellow. How do i make it change colors??
g600 by FAAAAAAAAR. I bought it in November 2012 and im still using the same one, it outlived several mmos and withstood all diablo seasons and I play a lot of games.
KiteoHatto Well I've had no problems with the perdition so far, everything seems to be woking well. The programmable buttons are definitely shit and unusable tho. Unless you program them for macros, other than that, they're useless. They just feel cheap, and you need to put more force on them than you should, it's pretty stupid.
Would a logical purpose for overkill, ultra high dpi maybe for use gigantic displays or video walls? like specialty displays that may be crazy high resolutions?
I'm stuck on having the third "real" mouse button of the G600, both for games and software. The only way to go back would include kicking and screaming.
I personally love my g600, its by all mean not needed to have the 12 side buttons, but i use the ring click SO MUCH, It's my attack move click in dota, my sprint in wildstar, Dpi switch in cs go. And the Logitech software makes it so much better, I can do things it would take in depth knowledge to do in autohotkey, from my mouse software.
If you play WildStar you should refer to this guide: forums.wildstar-online.com/forums/index.php?/topic/32650-utilizing-the-naga-with-wildstarnagag600/ It goes into the science and methodology of the usage senario for WildStar with an MMORPG mouse.
bought mine roughly 2 years ago give or take still going strong still work like i bought it yesterday.
Mines been going for 5 years. Pretty crazy for the price
All the buttons still working fine?
Can you program the keys also for premiere pro or it only for gaming?
Guys i have this mouse, its freakin amazing for the price ($30). It has fully programmable macros and RGB lighting, screw RAZER and their crappy overpriced junk, i had the razer naga and it barely lasted 3 months of light use.
you`re lying ive been using the razer naga for a year and i wont say ive been "light" to it.
Well your lucky them, ive had nothing but issues with my naga.
I still use my 2012 naga, and still going strong. It accompanied me through many wow raids without ever breaking down. You have a 2 year warranty, I suggest you use it.
MASTAX1234 i got it for 6.99$ brand new on amazon lmao
lol i think you might get ripped off buddy, those people you bought it from have no feedback and are new accounts, i suggest you get your money back while you still can.
Logictec 600 has a left and right click on the scroll wheel.
I'm picky about what cleaning products I use and usually make my own or use pure ingredients responsibly. You can get tech-grade iso at Fry's or a store that sells electronic components or possibly computer parts. And the internet :P
I also used compressed air in the very beginning to knock off big dust and at the end to accelerate even and clean drying, but again: use responsibly.
Thanks again!
i have this mouse, and its AMAZING
The reason why I find G600 irreplaceable and rock one to this day with 5 spares in my drawer in case they stop making them is the 3rd button under ring finger. Honestly why not a single mouse out there has this? Used to be a common thing before clickable scroll wheels...
ill buy one off you please. need a backup to my current g600. we can exchange contacts and go from there
ive had this mouse for over a year now and its still going strong.
16000 dpi ...
im gonna stick to my 400-1200 setting on my Steelseries Rival :P
UtechSmart sent me one of these a few weeks ago to review, the switches are indeed omron. Very nice mouse in my opinion.
I bought this mouse after Fallout 4 bricked my G600 when it crashed. I've been using this as a daily for over 4 years. I love the removable weights it comes with. I'll only upgrade if we ever see the gen 1 Tek Syndicate Standard Issue mouse again : )
This mouse is great for any game.
It's possible to use +6000 dpi, but only if you reduce the mouse sensibility.
Then what's the point of increasing the DPI?
Lol. That sentence is perfect.
*****
More precision, of course ... i was just saying is possible not that all sud use like that
*****
It makes the mouse more sensitive, like smaller movement to get cursor movement, so high DPI + low windows/ingame sensitivity is the best.
mlim23 No, not even a little bit. Google: how to set up mouse sensitivity/dpi.
There is a reason why mice have optional sensitivity.
So two completely different things or can you actually change both buttons to work like the other one too?
dose he have makeup on ?
The insanely high dpi is really only needed for surround or 4k.
Nah i need it for when i build in minecraft
the Redragon M901 is the same mouse as this with a slightly different shell. If you're bothered by the little shiny piece in the middle the M901 uses a solid rough plastic texture, which I prefer. I had a logitech g600 that died and these mice do work out as a decent replacement and the switches are omron
+Cheezus I have this mouse and love it. And you are correct, its very close to the UtechSmart mouse.
Cheezus So that means I got a shit broken mouse from amazon..... great....
is this mouse any better than the redragon perdition tho?
the naga is meant for mmo but honestly its nice having those extra mapable buttons on the side in a few games i map the side buttons to specific weapons like in insurgency 1 button for my main 1 for my side arm 1 for nades ect so i can jump swap weapons without pulling off the wasd to hit a number key in games like gmod you can map your other options to it like in dark rp you can map fading doors to keys or in spacebuild map your ships keys to them it really is worthwhile having those keys available
So, I have a ten dollar mouse and it works perfect during Counter-Strike. What is the benefit for buying an expensive mouse? Just wondering.
sorry to be the guy, mate, but to correct, the Logitech G600 doesn't "have a button" on the ring-finger side...
What kind of "minimalistic" mouse do you use, Logan?
Good video thanks. What abt G-SHIFT like in Logitech g600 ? G-shift in logitech gives us even 2x times more buttons. thx
Does the extra power button work like the G600 G-shift Button? Can I click a side button and the power button at the same time and use it as my F1 skill in Guild wars 2?
Awesome video. Really like this kind of thing.
Would love to see more. Keep it up.
I bought this to test it out on Mordhau. I currently use the Corsair Nightsword.
This dpi-madness has to stop.
Yeah there's really no reason to ever have more than 800.
Any left handed MMO gaming mouse out there? Or are we forced to use symetric mouses?
I have a logitech m515 which i love(2 year battery life and its wireless) if i was to go for a high dpi mouse what differences would i notice(i only use keyboard and mouse for rts games everything else is played with a controller)?
its good mouse and hou dpi?
Is it better than Logitech G600? Do you have issue with programming combo key?
I've had this same mouse since august of 2014 and let me say it's a really good gaming mouse i play csgo mostly and dayz. nice to have a keyboard on the side of your mouse. 10/10
I used to use about 12000 dpi on FPS games for a couple of years. You don't move your hand at all. You literally just twitch your muscles to move the mouse around. It's kinda cool, but I ended up going down to 400 dpi in the past year.
I'm looking for an all around gaming mice, g502 or g602? Or a g502 and just buy a separate mmo mouse?
how much does the mouse weigh?
I have a hand size of 6.5 inches do you think this is a perfect palm grip for me if I use it???
I bought ReDragon Impact M908 for minecraft and my other games (i.e. Skyrim which it is very useful for the mouse).
Idk if I regret it or not, I don't know if I should've bought the Storm M808, for those ReDragon users, please tell me for opinion for the better mouse, Impact M908 or Storm M808? Edit: My reason for asking is because the Redragon Impact M908 had the exact same look as the Utech Venus MMO mice
Is this a flawed laser sensor or a flawless optical sensor?
I use the G502 and I like it a lot. But, I've been thinking about switching to a MMO mouse because I like using the mouse buttons as much as possible. I think I'm gonna get the G600. What's the weight like compared to the G502?
Use g502 it's better
Zero Suit Samus/Pikachu
I ended up getting a g600. I like it. I like the sensor of the g502 a bit more but I love the shape of the g600 a lot more. The RGB lighting is nice too.
Does this have easier clicks (in terms of right and left click) then the naga, perdition and the g600? I'm buying whichever one I can click the fastest with
K thanks, but does it click when you just simply nudge it, try to click, or punch the damn thing
Cool! I own a UTechSmart Mouse and I really like it. The only thing I don't like about it is that there is no off option for my LED's. It also goes up to 8200 DPI, and that is even overkill but that's not a real issue that's just interesting to me at least.
While there are 19 buttons only 18 of those are programmable the 19th is on the bottom and can change you current profile
Please tell me RAZER DEATHADDER n RAZER NAGA which BETTER ?????? I want buy
I bought mine today on Amazon for 25.
Is it good for shooter games like call of duty etc
@@reaperreaxch8392 yes its been working very good so far
@@reaperreaxch8392 The number buttons are badly spaced compared to Naga
i wont switch my g600 for anything i tell you. the 3rd click is the keeper.
Why does no one else have the free scroll feature that a lot of logitech mice have? Is a trademark thing? Or is it not considered profitable?
Could these really high dpi mice be very good for 4k and surround displays?
the g600 software isn't the greatest,
the prices are similar though my g600 was $45 that venus is $40 so yeah
The glossy plastic piece is there so you can grip it with pure friction from your palm. I barely grab the mouse as my hand is almost limp when using this mouse. The soft touch is more on the slippery side so the glossy piece deffinately helps.
I use 3200 dpi with max sensitivity so I have no need to lift my mouse.
Very comfortable for long gaming sessions.
Ill be honest, i never game across a mouse that wasnt comformatable for long gaming periods, it looks like it is cheap but i guess ill have to try it
I used to think the same until I used the Logitech G502... Ugh....
Its cheap and very nice for the price. Definitely give it a whirl if you can.
yeah my friend picked it up, but the lip on the side needs to be less thick or longer, and some rubber on the pinky part, but hey i was suprised of the quality of it
Bradley Baker the thumb rest is pretty useless.
but it is just uncomfortable and annoying, i mean i guess i would have to get used to it
Also can you remap the shooting button on the top left to be a modifier button for the rest of the side buttons? Thanks.
Whats better this or the redragon impact elite m913?
I love my g600. I don't even play MMOs, its just really useful in all games
UtechSmart Venus MMO Mouse lost doogle receiver ..can it be paired with a generic receiver ????
Can you program the keys also for premiere pro or only for gaming?
1. Why are the LED's flickering?
2. Is this mouse good for smite?
i used this for 30 days to see how I like and am returning it today.
Not saying 16400 DPI specifically will be useful but won't higher DPI in general be better with 4k monitors?
Is $38 dollars on Amazon a good deal for this mouse (down from $100)?
nice mouse I might pick it up, razer nagas have disappointed me lately
Do you think this would work for a guy that measures 12 inches around the wrist and has a size 26 ring finger?
I just got new one from amazon , I connected to it to my PC , the macro number keys light up but the dragon does not and nothing works , installed the driver from the cd and tried from their website , please help me if you've faced this issue , or knows how to fix it .
Also , nice video keep it up
i use a 12 button mouse and i bind those buttons on my numpad so i can still use my 1-5 on keyboard. However i want to get a keyboard thats smaller. Can i still bind my side buttons to the num pad if i get a keyboard without a numpad ?
I just got it. i see in ur review that the color on ur wheel changes and mine doesnt
. or i dont know how to do it!? mine is stuck on yellow. How do i make it change colors??
So, what's better, Logitech G600 or Redragon Perdition?
g600 by FAAAAAAAAR. I bought it in November 2012 and im still using the same one, it outlived several mmos and withstood all diablo seasons and I play a lot of games.
KiteoHatto Have you used the redragon perdition tho?
KiteoHatto I went with the redragon perdition btw, you replied too late :(.
No i haven't, but i just looked up the price difference and that it's sold by a much less known company. Usually you get what you pay for.
Yea i believe that's what the high dpi settings are good for.
what switches does the Deathadder 2013 use?? same as this mouse?
I'm stuck on having the third "real" mouse button of the G600, both for games and software. The only way to go back would include kicking and screaming.
I personally love my g600, its by all mean not needed to have the 12 side buttons, but i use the ring click SO MUCH, It's my attack move click in dota, my sprint in wildstar, Dpi switch in cs go. And the Logitech software makes it so much better, I can do things it would take in depth knowledge to do in autohotkey, from my mouse software.
If you play WildStar you should refer to this guide: forums.wildstar-online.com/forums/index.php?/topic/32650-utilizing-the-naga-with-wildstarnagag600/
It goes into the science and methodology of the usage senario for WildStar with an MMORPG mouse.
so i want my 1 on my mouse to activate differently from my 1 on my keyboard. Is that possible? for gaming purposes.
LOgan YOU ARE BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!
