Always injoy watch your landrover video's. Look forward to seeing the new house renovations. And when it comes to the new hoist in the shed give P&M Automotive Equipment in Maddington a call and we'll set you up with the right hoist. All the best and keep up the great video's.
A year later comment here in USA some owners of v8 keep rear muffler but eliminate resonator to get the v8 sound on my 07 lr3 I have thought about it but still deciding that was a huge improvement on your headlights my lr3 is white I just upgraded my taillights to the black lr4 taillights I will need to install a 25 Watts 15 ohms resistor to stop fate blinker to normal blink , I also added the defender side mounted ladder & storage gear box on Rear windows
Morning Stephen, Yeah man i wasn't a huge fan of the oven scenario either, The heat gun worked well you just had to keep occasionally putting the heat in as you go
@@jamiepome great news mate !! I slightly misaligned my turbo actuator so have to pull my turbo off as I occasionally on into limp mode Just going to replace it with a new unit and then use that turbo for my old engine
Hey bernel I agreed I didn't feel comfortable putting my headlights in the over In regards to the heat gun I genuinely have no idea I'd say 70-80degrees Celsius would be enough to loosen off the sealant on the headlight lenses
My old girl could do with new l lenses as well. Wouldn't be such a bad job if you didn't have to remove the ARB bar to get the headlights out. Clearly no one at ARB did any research when designing it

Legend thanks Craig will definitely come hit you guys up once we've settled into the new place
Hey Craig what's the best way to tell the depth of the slab should I rip up the pathers around to outside and dig next to the shed slab ?
Great video, thanks for sharing!

Nice job! Always worried about goin the lights in the oven route. Heat gun looks like the less anxious route 👍

@@OUTBACKDiscovery that sounds like a PITA, can you get to the turbo easily, I thought it was a massive job to get to it.
@@jamiepome not at all its a prick of a job not happy about it at all hahah
I think I like this method versus using the oven. One thing maybe not mention is , what was the temperature of the heat gun? Thanks

Haha yep was definitely an after thought !!
New lenses made a big difference to the light quality at night time definetlt worth it
With such a quiet car, it would be a shame to make it loud. Get a D2 and make that a silly boy toy. 😊
A D2 project is definetly going to happen 🍻🤙
