I didnt want this video to finish , 90s BB videos will never become boring.
I can appreciate the hard work of the body builders of today, but I still much prefer the look of these guys from the 70's-90's. Despite their huge size back then, they still looked 'real'. The guys today look like plastic to me in comparison.
Shawn Ray was the most outspoke guy in bodybuilding,very honest individual, wise dude. People hate him for his honesty,but the guy never cared, very underrated physique, should have been Mr Olympia multiple times, never seen some one pose so elegantly like Shawn, imo should have won the 1994 Olympia. Anyways great video. Keep up the good work!!!!
You are right Buddy! In my mind he won. Very underrated guy. He was perfect above everybody else! Just like Nasser in 97, he was robbed man!
Don’t know if I’d say underrated, he just wasn’t known as being a freak. But his physique had such balance and beautiful muscle and beautiful symmetry. And yes, one of the best posers of all time. A true “physique artist” as he would refer to the guys that he looked up to before he went pro.
Jose Ruiz nassar wasn’t robbed he had nothing from behind only great size in front. His back was literally horrible that’s why Dorian won. Shawn ray in other words is more balanced than all of the guys mentioned just gives up weight

He wouldn’t have did as well as he did unfortunately if he competed in the 2010 era with cutler, heath, Jackson, wolf, etc. He caught the tail end of the old school era and kept it alive for 13 straight years and did awesome with it.
