@@granddaddyofthemall6320 your opinion is your own. Only time Dorian truly looked bad was 97. His conditioning mixed with size was what the judges were looking for. By your definition, neither should’ve won. It should’ve been Kevin or Flex based on their aesthetics and symmetry.
The fact you feel Shawn Ray was hard done by just because of the fact he was black is incredibly narrow minded. So Lee Haney and Ronnie Coleman don’t fall into that category?
The only true outspoken person from any Mr Olympia was Lee Priest and he was banned from competing in the Mr Olympia.
Lou was huge. Arnold was jacked. Ronnie was a beast. But Ray was da first dude I ever saw I said to myself "dang, he looks good."
He looked very proportional, nothing looked out of place, because he was the right size in every eay

Many of the elite bodybuilders back then couldn't stand him and it probably hurt his chances to win. Dorian HATED him...

Uncrowded in the 90s? Really? Undoubtedly he gave Yates the best competition, and then Ronnie just destroyed everyone, but he wasnt going to beat him. Wasn't going tot beat Haney in '91 either. The 90s Era of B.B. was arguably the best. Shawn is one of the best of that era, top 5, just a tough era to compete in.
