@@stevejamieson8468 lol! Arnold looked like shit in his last “O”. That Sandow was given to him as a farewell gift. Prior to that, Arnold retired for a reason, more interested in making movies. He was a scientist of the sport but if his head wasn’t going to be in it, he would have started losing immediately (baring typical politics in the sport). He retired at the right time. He certainly left his mark on the sport. Had the opportunity to meet Arnold once. He was an A-Hole at the moment but it did not change how I thought of him as a BB. The man was incredible.

I’m so glad he is still around, a true champion legend and guru one of the greats of not the greatest, to me Arnold and Lee are super super close, I’d say Lee takes it because he was after Arnold and their was more know how and more wisdom for a harder freakier but still graceful physique, Lee to me did a proper Arnold 2.0 but Lee is his own man and champion, so it’s so hard for me to choose between the two, I tend to try to go by decades or eras of bodybuilding to judge the greatest cuz their are many.❤

If you get the right volume for the muscle and the right amount of stress then you’re good. A lot of people get hung on which split they should use when all of them work and many people use all of them, so I tell people to pick a split that works for you and go with it. I've said it since I started lifting weights. No way should calves ever be trained once a week more like everyday.
Overtraining word is so crazy. If your eating and sleeping well working out 3 hours a day is a major benefit not a side effect that scientists say.
      Science is holding people back.
I trained 3 hours a day and every 8 weeks twice a day upto 4 hour lifting weights I trained to the point of fainting several times within first 2 years.
I gained more muscle than people on roads I ate so clean 24/7 eating 400g of protein a day I gained 120lbs in my first 2 year and stayed there at 12% bodyfat

Its like boxers they trained for 10 hours a day like tyson. That was there job.
To get smarter in life you read and learn so many hours of the day tou don't overtrian your brain. But over working that's when tou need to realise the difference. Less is more they say maybe for some beasts like dorain Yates etc but I trained high volume ton of sets for even smaller bodyparts. At 19 I was 250lbs 20" arms no gear ever. 28" waist 6 pack I also grew 6 inches in that time aswell. Madness.

      That’s why i like ppl-miscellaneous-ppl.
If you’re hitting chest, you’re going to hit your front delts and triceps anyways, why not just do it all in one session? Same for your typical pull day, i’m going to hit by biceps if i am hitting my back.
You get 72-96 hours to recover while still working out every day.
It’s the most efficient split and has the most benefits.
