Rewatching this one because of the most recent (episode 49) Watcher Podcast, where they learned that someone just lived upstairs and owned a dog, but Ryan had been told the room was condemned and they weren't allowed to go inside to check it.
I've watched investigations where people are reported to smoke, they have put a lit cigarette or cigar in something to hold it and offered it to the spirit and the cigarette has burned as if someone was smoking it. Maybe next time you go somewhere where the smell of smoke is reported, you could try it? (Please like so they can see)
If it's already lit that will prove nothing. A lit cigarette will continue to burn, and with an undulating air flow, there may be times when seems like it's burning more.
In Albania we have sort of a Death Day, where we go and see our dead loved ones graves. Mostly grandparents. We clean the graves and we put flowers and candles and sometimes we put things they really liked like cigarettes.
umm they only investigate for a night.. if you wanna catch even a glimpse of evidence you'd have to investigate a haunted building for at least a year tbh. Cameras rolling everywhere 24/7... ghost encounters are extremely rare, you'd be lucky to have a truly paranormal experience once let alone multiple experiences throughout a lifetime.
Dude, after living in Savannah, Georgia for 4 years. You learn that the whole city is haunted, and every civilian just treat ghosts as having another casual roommate.
I just moved out of a place that was built in 1899 and when i was home alone with just me and my dog, i'd sometimes hear stuff slamming around downstairs. I just kinda went "nope" or yelled "PAY SOME FUCKIN RENT" down the stairs until it stopped.
We can confirm his experience, we saw a solid black 6 foot tall ghost on our tour last year visiting the Sorrel Weed House. It was a creepy and fascinating experience!
My boyfriend lives 3 homes down from this place on west Harris street. We didn’t know this place even existed. He’s in front of the home right now as I’m watching and commenting on this video. And he’s uhhh... he’s seeing nothing right now. Also, Marshall House is very haunted too on broughton street.
It's almost amusing how they go to all of these "most haunted place in America" type locations and almost never get anything more than the odd bump and knock. Shane in particular seems completely unphased by every location. And yet, here we are, watching anyway. Some in hopes that they eventually see something that cannot be explained, others just wanting to see a couple of jackasses being jackasses (a term I use with the utmost respect, for the record).
This is exactly why I watch and love them, for sure. I'm totally on Shane's end of the belief spectrum (aka lack thereof), but I still enjoy watching these vids for Ryan's reactions. It's the same feeling I get and love from playing scary games with my friends, where I don't really find them scary, but I love hearing my pals scream about it. It's a good balance, plus their general lack of evidence makes it believable. I hate how a lot of 'ghost hunting' type shows always feel like stuff is only interesting if they find out evidence, so there's loads of stuff that's clearly faked and it ruins the whole thing. Unsolved has just enough to keep believers thinking there might be something (like Ryan does), and stuff that's fairly easily explained away for the rest of us (like Shane), and even when there's nothing happening, they're entertaining enough anyway.
I find that the "most haunted places" will often have the least action. I think due to way too many people coming through there. They need to travel to other countries. THAT'S where the most activity is, America has glorified these things so any paranormal activity doesn't get its chance to build on its own because of so many other energies from people constantly going through there
Jake Reynolds Ryan: fuck this I’m outa here Shane: it was only a catapult Shane gets thrown across the room Shane: fuck this ghosts are real there is no catapult.
I love the fact that these guys go in so bare and even though sometimes they dont get any evidence or even if they do, it's more realistic than most of the ghost hunter shows nowadays.
And they make it entertaining, regardless the lack of actual ghosts. You got the jumpy Ryan, the one who wants to believe that things are ghosts, and you got Shane, takes everything comically and brings up the logical explanation to everything, and sometimes plays along with Ryan’s speculations.
Buildings like this where a floor is condemned might be good to send some sort of drone into to get footage of the condemned floor....especially when you hear walking and a dog barking in the condemned area.
local.hero a lot of modern drones (admittedly sometimes a little expensive) are very easy to control and stable. Hence they are used for filming so much.
+•MinhtyL33t• S N O O P D O G G is actually the original owner of the house and the supposed British soldiers downstairs are just his in-built dealers,
Kirstin Opal we don't know that that's actually true though, it's just what Ryan was told. And there's no guarantee you'd fall through the floor, even if it's a risk. There could easily be someone up there.
Has anything (Overcome by an intense feeling, feeling temperature shift, feeling of being watched, feeling of being touched) happened to the unnamed cameraman who films with you guys? I'm really curious.
I'm fairly sure the cameraman is primarily or exclusively TJ/"Teej Monster", who they've referenced a couple times in the past. Don't know his exact stance on everything supernatural but he did poke fun at Ryan after the Eastern State Penitentiary and generally seemed dismissive of the idea of a ghost then. Shane reads his texts in that Q+A if you want the full context. Edit: The Post Mortem for the Villa Montezuma answers the OP's question pretty directly.
Ryan gets haunted vibes from everywhere they go because he brings the demon with him and doesn't even realize it. Shane is the one haunting the place as soon as he enters it.
Can’t get enough of these guys, they’re like an old married couple and the stories are interesting from ghostly and historical viewpoints. Always look forward to a new episode.

I've watched investigations where people are reported to smoke, they have put a lit cigarette or cigar in something to hold it and offered it to the spirit and the cigarette has burned as if someone was smoking it. Maybe next time you go somewhere where the smell of smoke is reported, you could try it? (Please like so they can see)
Gina Loves random shizzle I don’t think they’d be aloud to smoke
I've lived in Savannah my whole house and literally none of this freaks me out anymore. It's kind of just normal😂
Life* not house. 😂
Oh hell no Georgia is not the place for me trust I hear one MF footstep or noise that isn't me or can't be explain logically I'm moving out.
Jennyun Did you go to SCAD too?

Some in hopes that they eventually see something that cannot be explained, others just wanting to see a couple of jackasses being jackasses (a term I use with the utmost respect, for the record).
well you won't get a proof everywhere they go, but in some places like waverly it was very evident
Lol tbh I watch them because they (especially Shane) are funny asf, and they never add in BS for views
@@priambati6713What evidence did they get at Waverly that can't be explained?
I find that the "most haunted places" will often have the least action. I think due to way too many people coming through there. They need to travel to other countries. THAT'S where the most activity is, America has glorified these things so any paranormal activity doesn't get its chance to build on its own because of so many other energies from people constantly going through there

Meanwhile, the homeless guy & his dog living upstairs is scared of the noises downstairs
Shane: I hear him talking quite a bit which means he’s rattled
I love how he just hears a bit of Ryan and instantly knows his emotion 🥺
That's what I was thinking what good friends he knows how Ryan's feeling it's so sweet 🥺🥺🥺
he knows Ryan like the back of his hand and that's honestly heart warming
So cute, huh!?🥰
I love the fact that these guys go in so bare and even though sometimes they dont get any evidence or even if they do, it's more realistic than most of the ghost hunter shows nowadays.
Skitty Bat yeah. It’s fun and they don’t lie. Quite refreshing
And they have fun with it, yeah Ryan's spooked but he still jokes sometimes
And they make it entertaining, regardless the lack of actual ghosts. You got the jumpy Ryan, the one who wants to believe that things are ghosts, and you got Shane, takes everything comically and brings up the logical explanation to everything, and sometimes plays along with Ryan’s speculations.

ryan: " maybe say something nice that'll make them come down? "

Buildings like this where a floor is condemned might be good to send some sort of drone into to get footage of the condemned floor....especially when you hear walking and a dog barking in the condemned area.
Do you know how hard it is to fly a drone?😂
True, but I have faith in the boys...or their cameraman.
or a rc car of some sort I guess they aren't that heavy
local.hero hire Casey neistat

So uhhhh we not gonna talk about the footsteps, speaking and barking from upstairs? That was left quite abruptly
Kirstin Opal Probably some homeless people
VioletFzs people has been saying that it is impossible for a homeless to be there cause , they open a tour for tourist
VioletFzs if it’s condemned to the point where people would fall through the floor I’m not sure how homeless people could get past that
Kirstin Opal we don't know that that's actually true though, it's just what Ryan was told. And there's no guarantee you'd fall through the floor, even if it's a risk. There could easily be someone up there.
Stephanie Rideout true. Either way it was freaky lol

Ryan would get scared by it more then him 😂
Yeeeees!
Has anything (Overcome by an intense feeling, feeling temperature shift, feeling of being watched, feeling of being touched) happened to the unnamed cameraman who films with you guys? I'm really curious.
Gatica I always think that omg, and if he gets freaked out when they hear footsteps and voices, and if he even believes in ghosts
Gatica it’s Shane’s dad
Gatica yeaaaa please answer!! Maybe he/ she mite of seen something
I wonder how many fake ass tv shows and edited clips need to be seen befote you guys realize this shit isn't real.
Ryan gets haunted vibes from everywhere they go because he brings the demon with him and doesn't even realize it.
Shane is the one haunting the place as soon as he enters it.

he probably wouldn't look for him
blame it on the wind
