This episode is kind of beautiful. If ghosts were real, you shared music with an old man, let children play with a toy dog, and let someone play a joke. I imagine being a spirit could be lonely; you guys may have brought warmth to people who haven't experienced it in a long time.
That's honestly why I like visiting old graveyards! They're so calm and peaceful and I'll introduce them to some music and leave flowers on some graves that look a little run down and untouched.

Roy feels so warm and nice, he was probably so happy to have a a conversation with new people and walk around with them for a bit, but most importantly, he'd probably been so happy seeing that they played opera music for him, he would've been filled with joy :')
That spirit box is a waste of time. All it’s doing is scrambling through various frequencies and occasionally picks up radio stations. They’ve never really gotten anything good off it, or more than a couple of words. Waste of time

i dont know why but the part where they play the opera for all the ghosts is making me tear up. ive watched this episode multiple times, and only now is that moment invoking such an emotional response. i think it’s the fact that, even after death, everyone is having a lovely time listening to some opera. and it’s not sad or angry opera either. its JAUNTY! its undeniably upbeat and exciting and happy! it feels good. even ryan seems to be having a good time, despite how scared he is.
a 7.5 ft tall ghost telling his other ghost friends and squealing "i just danced to my favorite opera music with these two guys through the hallway omg i haven't listened to opera for so long!"
why is this place so wholesome? A little ghostie pet a dog, a giant went on a stroll with some buds after having a nice convo listening to his favourite music and he also helped out a lady who was scared of a rat and when ryan asked if they were scared they gave a "a little" i love this place. so wholesome.
I can tell Roy was a very kind man and wanted the best for everyone. You can tell he still is whether or not you believe in ghosts, you can tell he was a very very caring man who wanted to take care of you. Everyone would want to be his friend and he was a gentle giant.
I loved watching the dog light up when they were gone because it just made me so happy. The little kids on there were like “oh look at the puppy! It makes a funny little noise!”

The only difference between BuzzFeed Unsolved and every other paranormal investigation shows is two people being scared vs one person being scared and the other telling the entities to try and kill him.
all i can imagine is Roy walking down the halls, humming the tune of the opera song once Ryan and Shane left. Maybe an occasional hop in his step to the bounces of the tune.
This has to be one of the most wholesome of the investigations. Normally when I rewatch these old episodes I feel at least a little spooked but it’s sweet having a man’s spirit be able to listen to his favorite music and little kids petting the dog. I miss these old episodes so much.

I mean, a nurse who seems to respond when someone asks for help, a tall man who loves opera and asked for their names in a shy manner ("What's your... names?"), kids who were shy to pet the dog yet did it when there was no one around (aka kids being curious), and this unnamed ghost all seem like they just chillin' in the afterlife.
I don’t think they realized what he said until after when reviewing the footage. But I was a little sad when they didn’t engage him. Poor guy is this helpful giant probably a lot of people were scared of him in life, now he’s just got no one to talk to and gets all excited about people and they don’t hear him 😔
I like to think that Shane and Ryan playing the music for the spirits there is such a sweet sentiment . The thought of spirits dancing happily around the oblivious Shane and Ryan as Roy watches with a thankful smile. In a place where their spirits are trapped and never resting, they found short happiness through the music that two men played for the enjoyment of their spirits.

This has to be one of the most wholesome of the investigations. Normally when I rewatch these old episodes I feel at least a little spooked but it’s sweet having a man’s spirit be able to listen to his favorite music and little kids petting the dog. I miss these old episodes so much.

I mean, a nurse who seems to respond when someone asks for help, a tall man who loves opera and asked for their names in a shy manner ("What's your... names?"), kids who were shy to pet the dog yet did it when there was no one around (aka kids being curious), and this unnamed ghost all seem like they just chillin' in the afterlife.

I don’t think they realized what he said until after when reviewing the footage. But I was a little sad when they didn’t engage him. Poor guy is this helpful giant probably a lot of people were scared of him in life, now he’s just got no one to talk to and gets all excited about people and they don’t hear him 😔
