I really love this show. Even though they rarely find any actual evidence they’re honest about it and always have a good time anyways. Also Ryan’s spooky story voice is very soothing 10/10

Believers in the supernatural don't just stop believing like that. Not in my case or anyone i know at least. But the getting rid of phobia with exposure to it I have seen for myself, and experienced, so I find that reason way more logical :P Plus, he addressed this in the latest post mortem.
I lived in a house that I constantly seen shadows in the sewing room and panty area. My son who was still baby-like was peeking over at something in the pantry. I heard moan and groans from outside my room late at night. As if a hoard if people in pain were making noise. Pretty scary.

I have two theories either Ryan is starting to be more angry at the lack of evidence and starting to act like Shane or Shane is starting to believe more in ghosts because of the evidence they have collected and that's why in certain episodes he will acknowledge the odd happenings
To be honest, I don't care if there are any ghosts. I just come for Shane and Ryan witty comments. And also to know more about the story of the places. The story makes it really great, since you can learn from things that happened in the past. (Like for example how they disposed of corpses during the plague, or that there exited poorhouses).

I even love doing those ghost tours and fright nights around my city and others when I'm travelling; not because I believe in ghosts or the supernatural, but because the history of the areas, the events that occurred, and the people who lived/worked/loved/died there are so interesting. It's a very humbling and often sobering experience, and a lot of the 'haunted' places with sordid histories shouldn't be forgotten. The sp00py stuff is just an incidental part of it to me. But hey, if it keeps the history alive and people interested in learning more, I'm all for it. Just another facet of our rich heritage of verbal history and storytelling.

I think the way Shane and Ryan have changed over the course of Unsolved is a really good thing. It might be uncomfortable for people who see them as buddy-cartoon characters, the Jaded Skeptic and the Frightened Believer, but I really like the way they've both grown. Ryan has faced his fears countless times and has clearly gained a bit of courage, even though he's still sensitive to spiritual side of things (hence why he got chills and felt like he was being watched in that final EVP sesh), and Shane remains skeptical but seems much more open to the plausible evidence being experienced, like when he was actually listening to the spirit box in this episode and offering translations for what he heard (that weren't jokes). People grow. People learn. And people who spend a lot of time with each other will start to adopt each other's mannerisms. I love the shifts and changes, the ebbs and flows. It's human.

I enjoy the series, not for proof, but for the story, the friendship & banter between these two and just seeing them explore and be out in these places. Im not surprised Ryan is a little more confident, he's been doing this for awhile now. I will admit though, I did more so enjoy it when Shane was the more offensive, outlandish one who'd say things that would have Ryan gasping in shock lol. But i guss its just a natural growth and development with the series. ANYWAY It's called unsolved for a reason lol, stop expecting an outcome.

One of the most stark "this is Savannah" memories i have is when i was walking to work and i saw a tour guide on the sidewalk outside one of the Many Many Many Old Houses that run tours, and he was dressed in full period clothing. Puffy poet shirt, breeches, boots, hair all done up, perfectly coiffed mustache-- and he was vaping like a goddamned chimney. so when Shane said "it's a mustache town, Savannah" i was just like "yep, sure is."
Shane's evolved so much since season 1 it seems now he's focusing more on finding evidence than being afraid of the potential of there being evidence in general. I just wanted to say I respect that, though you'll most likely not read this cause ya'll are busy.

I wonder if the people who work in some of these "haunted" places are causing some of "ghostly" incident's to boost tourism and earn more money. I'm not saying this is the case every where, but I'm sure in some places the staff or owner will embellish on the history of the "haunted" place and over exaggerate urban legends, or make it up completely for tourism. I also think we are more likely to see a "ghost" if we're told its haunted... Plus I wouldn't trust my eyes when I've been drinking

I think the way Shane and Ryan have changed over the course of Unsolved is a really good thing. It might be uncomfortable for people who see them as buddy-cartoon characters, the Jaded Skeptic and the Frightened Believer, but I really like the way they've both grown. Ryan has faced his fears countless times and has clearly gained a bit of courage, even though he's still sensitive to spiritual side of things (hence why he got chills and felt like he was being watched in that final EVP sesh), and Shane remains skeptical but seems much more open to the plausible evidence being experienced, like when he was actually listening to the spirit box in this episode and offering translations for what he heard (that weren't jokes). People grow. People learn. And people who spend a lot of time with each other will start to adopt each other's mannerisms. I love the shifts and changes, the ebbs and flows. It's human.

I enjoy the series, not for proof, but for the story, the friendship & banter between these two and just seeing them explore and be out in these places. Im not surprised Ryan is a little more confident, he's been doing this for awhile now. I will admit though, I did more so enjoy it when Shane was the more offensive, outlandish one who'd say things that would have Ryan gasping in shock lol. But i guss its just a natural growth and development with the series. ANYWAY It's called unsolved for a reason lol, stop expecting an outcome.

One of the most stark "this is Savannah" memories i have is when i was walking to work and i saw a tour guide on the sidewalk outside one of the Many Many Many Old Houses that run tours, and he was dressed in full period clothing. Puffy poet shirt, breeches, boots, hair all done up, perfectly coiffed mustache-- and he was vaping like a goddamned chimney.
so when Shane said "it's a mustache town, Savannah" i was just like "yep, sure is."
Shane's evolved so much since season 1 it seems now he's focusing more on finding evidence than being afraid of the potential of there being evidence in general. I just wanted to say I respect that, though you'll most likely not read this cause ya'll are busy.

I wonder if the people who work in some of these "haunted" places are causing some of "ghostly" incident's to boost tourism and earn more money. I'm not saying this is the case every where, but I'm sure in some places the staff or owner will embellish on the history of the "haunted" place and over exaggerate urban legends, or make it up completely for tourism. I also think we are more likely to see a "ghost" if we're told its haunted...
