Given the demographic reality and population collapse that Italy is facing, I do find it puzzling that the Italian government is currently trying to make it more difficult for someone to become an Italian citizen by blood. Last year, the Corte Suprema di Cassazione ruled that a minor lost his or her Italian citizenship when their Italian-born parents naturalized. And just last month, the Italian Ministry of the Interior agreed with that finding. So everyone who has been pursuing Italian citizenship with a consulate has recently been told that the consulate is likely to deny their petition if there is a minor issue anywhere in the bloodline. I have also heard of proposed legislation that would require people to learn the language and/or to live in Italy for at least a year before they would be eligible for Italian citizenship by blood. If your population is in danger of collapsing, why would you make it harder for people with Italian ancestry to be recognized as citizens? If they acquire dual citizenship, there's a good chance they might move to Italy. If they are denied, there's a good chance they will never move to Italy. How is that beneficial to a country with a declining population? Regarding Musk, he is a student of history and probably loves Italian history, art, and culture. Now that the U.S. election is over, I predict that Donald Trump and Giorgia Meloni will have a very close relationship because their politics align. Her politics also align with Elon's. You have to remember too that he wants to manufacture a lot of vehicles for the E.U. at his Gigafactory in Berlin-Brandenburg. And for him, the way a car is powered is now far less important than autonomous driving technology. Tesla's full self-driving (FSD) has seen tremendous progress in the past year thanks to the use of artificial intelligence. FSD is much smarter now than it was even a year ago because of A.I., and Elon believes that the technology will be ready to use with no driver sometime in 2025 or 2026. His predictions have not always been accurate when it comes to timing, but the way the technology is advancing so rapidly at Tesla, I think he will be right this time. Developing the technology is one thing, but he also needs governmental regulators to allow his vehicles on the road without a driver. That's where his relationship with Meloni comes into play. If she is open to and supportive of unsupervised FSD in Italy, Elon might sell many more cars. He firmly believes that autonomous driving is going to revolutionize the world and save a lot of lives, and I agree with him. But he also needs government leaders and regulators to okay it before it can become a reality. Italians might like to drive, but unsupervised FSD will be akin to anyone having his or her own personal chauffeur. Elon believes that once people get a taste of that, they are never going to want to go back to driving themselves, and the technology is coming sooner than people realize. There are many people on TH-cam currently demonstrating how well it works right now. Does Elon find Meloni attractive as a woman? Probably. She is an intelligent and attractive woman. There is a Tesla Roadster in the works, and it is supposed to be very sleek and sporty and futuristic. However, it hasn't been a priority for the company because it will be very expensive, and expensive sports cars from any manufacturer do not generate significant revenue. @HowtoItaly-2004 Does it seem that way to you? I guess obviously so. But I see it differently. I think if you are talking about through the lens of the mainstream media for decades, then certainly yes. If you are not looking throught the 'filter' of media, the story is quite different actually, with only the facts. Especially in the last years. If you believe Italy's lack of geopolitical influence makes no sense to you, given the evidence, you're right. But as with anything, what actually makes sense, eventually comes to be. I factually see that happening in the last years, but if you see it differently, I do understand why. Let me give you just one of several examples, that got very 'low' media coverage, and not accurately either. Why did Viktor Orban sign on with the E.U. to send many Billions of dollars aimed at 'destroying' Russia, and his 'great friend' Putin? Giorgia Meloni and Italy, is why, and Only that, because he nearly dispises Nato, the E.U., and the U.S. Yet he chose to side with Italy, against Russia, and essentially China, etc, too?? Yes. Well, you did a quite good job of explaining why. It makes sense because he is an astute person, right. I mean Italy has the greatest PM in the world(ask Elon), great cuisine, great automotive, great fashion, great history that Unesco reports to possess over 60% of all the important art, achitecture, and statues, in the whole world. It also has Immense influence of Western civilization and culture. It has Immense natural beauty, Immense palaces galore, great hotels galore, and can cater the best of everything to those who have alot of money, like say Elon Musk. It has the Catholic Church(I know it's a "separate" country), and Italy's birth rate is very low, which is right at the top of his issues. So, yes, Elon should and does have an interest in these. It seems just natural.
And you what drives me crazy: despite all the things you described, we do not count shit. Our geopolitical importance is ZERO
Yes. It's fact.
Do you know the exact location of Musk’s home? Trentino?
I really don’t
Vicino Bolzano.

@@HowtoItaly-2004 Without question. They already banned the Rumble app.
I hope the EU does ban X.
