    This was a very important playthrough to me as i was watching it the same time that i was playing Fates Birthright for the last time before the Wi-Fi shut down

    This is why Anna is the best unit in the game, just like the other 39 units in the game. 😊

      @@FireEmbros sad that her only niche is being a glass cannon (let’s just ignore the fact that Citrinne is even frailer but with 5 less speed)
      But hey, free Assign Decoy is free Assign Decoy!

    This was interesting! I love using Anna since she’s fun, but clearly the design of her and Jean as low level growth units is about working towards something. Zero to hero, which is satisfying! It’s equally satisfying to just not use them if you don’t want to lol, I love how you looked at this. A lot of people say “don’t use ____” instead of “I don’t think ____ is that good, but do what you want”
    It doesn’t go without saying! It’s not just the FE community, but we get lots of those people 😭 sometimes people just need to differentiate whether someone asked about a units performance, or if they’re just talking about a unit they like

      I do try to keep those 2 things separate. I will never tell someone NOT to use a unit, but I try my best to keep things objective when analyzing viability! There’s a unit in particular that is my guilty pleasure in FE6. Lilina is, by all intents and purposes, not a very good unit, but I use her every time ahhhaha

    This run was actually about Vander the Commander!

    Vander being almost as important anyway

    Ive never used Anna for making gold so I never really thought about how effective (or really, ineffective) make a killing is. It's definitely sad for me to see that she doesn't make you a substantial amount of money, but it probably won't effect anything for me.

    I did the Anna money build for my Maddening run. The best use of it is that by endgame, there are 2 maps with infinite reinforcements. If Anna is strong enough (mine was a Dark Knight with Tiki), that becomes infinite money. I was able to max all the donations on my maddening run doing this. It’s a build that I think makes for a really strong mage that can effectively solve any late game money problems. My Anna was also nearly fully stat capped by the end lol.

    Well, of course her skill is useless if you are solely relying on it (duh), but playing it regularly it comes in handy.
    There is no "only one team" in Fire Emblem. That type of thinking misses the point of tactical rpgs. Anyone can get a hyper buff team and win-- that's brain dead. The purpose is to think up ways of victory with teams you want, and if you want Anna then plan tactics to achieve it. That is what makes it fun.

    Anna really is the embodiment of the engage itself, not worth wasting your money on cause you ain't making back that investment.

    “Yeah, Anna with less resources to use on her isn’t as good as other units when you do have more resources.” Wow. How enlightening.

    • @FireEmbros
      @FireEmbros  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No, Thats not the gist of it at all. Anna with all the resources focused on her, performed on par with other units. The only thing she was missing was that higher end levin sword forge. I gave her EVERYTHING else. The master seal, the second seal (after Chloe and alear) the fragments, STARSPHERE, fed her most kills in the army: the conclusion was that she didn’t perform significantly above other units that didn’t require as many resources

    • @Rabidconscience
      @Rabidconscience 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@FireEmbros I’m talking about the fact that you are assessing her performance generally, based on how she performed in a challenge run where you gave yourself less resources than you would have in an ordinary run. And you are using this non-standard run to justify your opinion of her in a standard run.

    • @FireEmbros
      @FireEmbros  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Rabidconscience this would hold true, if I hadn’t give her the level of favoritism and investment that one could obtain in a standard run. The REST of my units didn’t have the resources. I made sure Anna did.

    • @Rabidconscience
      @Rabidconscience 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@FireEmbros if that’s the case, why didn’t you just try to test Anna in a standard run, instead of doing a different challenge run.

    • @FireEmbros
      @FireEmbros  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Rabidconscience I have used Anna in a standard run multiple times. The idea of doing this challenge run was to see how much gold on average is generated, the performance of Anna was akin to every other run due to her not being limited by the resources, but actually given more in terms of starsphere, micaiah, the forges, etc etc.
