Don't forget this was Before Harry Potters Time, so this is the younger Dumbledorel from Harry's Time. You will understand about the Phoenix in the next Movie.
I do want to mention that Bellatrix's maiden name isn't Lestrange but was Black. She married into the Lestrange family. Bellatrix is cousins with Sirius Black and her sister is Narcissa Malfoy who was also born a Black but married into the Malfoy family.
Nagini is a Maledictus, a witch that has been cursed to transform into a beast. It is rather sad how much Nagini had suffered. This movie shows that Nagini was actually kind, but her cursed caused her to become nothing more than an attraction to a magical circus, getting to know nothing more but slavery and abuse. Credence was perhaps the very first person to ever show any kindness to her and, when he abandoned her, then perhaps Nagini became so desperate for love that she ended up being influenced by Voldemort to the point of complying to him and become his loyal pet and the vessel of a piece of his soul.
OMG you guys are totally wrong in this one. This series is a prequel to harry potter not sequel. This is young version of Dumbledore (that same Dumbledore u saw in Harry Potter) he's not the descendant lol. His great grandfather had a pheonix because everyone in Dumbledore family that has their blood has one. Also in the end it's Aurelius (his real identity is revealed in next movie). In an effort to thwart Grindelwald's plans of raising pure-blood wizards to rule over all non-magical beings, Albus Dumbledore enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world

Flamel created the philosopher’s stone-in the story and, in actual history was a famous alchemist (whose collective goal was to discover how to create the philosopher’s stone).
Slight correction, tho you would be close to assume Lita Lestrange is related to Bellatrix. I thought so too, but remembered the time this movie is. Bellatrix is a Black. So technically Lita is related to Bellatrixs husband who she took the last name.
Don't be confused when you watch the next film, due to Johnny Depp's legal problems, they changed the actor playing Grindelwald. As far as I know, this is due to be a series of five films, so there should be another 2 after the next one that you will watch, 'The Secrets Of Dumbledore'.
@@deachristiancatlady5435 To each their own. I personally loved Mads' portrayal as Grindelwald. Thank you for actually using the captioning. It's so much easier to keep things straight that way, especially when dealing with multiple accents from the actors. I grew up in the military and was exposed to different languages and accents from a very early age so I don't have any problem but I've noticed that a lot of reactors do. It also helps when they're slinging spells left, right and sideways and it gets hard to keep up with who got hit by what spell. Like in the second Harry Potter, at the end, Lucious actually starts to use Avada Kedavra on Harry before Dobby stops him. Without the captions, it's more difficult to tell that. Been loving your journey through the wizarding world. I just wish they'd kept on with this series, (J.K. announced in 2016 that there were going to be FIVE) but I guess three is all we're going to get. Maybe someday.......Oh, had to add... Leta and Bellatrix aren't related at all. Same last name but different bloodlines.
The whole Dumbledore family thing can be confusing seeing as they refer to Dumbledore as his last name like “secrets of Dumbledore” a lot of people were confused as to what Dumbledore’s secret was at the end when it’s actually referring to the family as a whole not one singular Dumbledore. This Dumbledore is Young Albus.
Newt’s Fantastic Beasts book is one of the books that the students at Hogwarts have to buy in year one. It’s in the Sorcerer’s Stone novel but I can’t remember if they mentioned in the movie.
Great reaction! I can’t wait to see your reaction to the next film! I’m pretty sure people told you that the brother of Dumbledore that appeared in HP was Aberforth; Aurilious is another member of the Dumbledore family. I really feel bad for Jacob and Queenie because all they want is the freedom to love each other unconditionally. I believe when Leta professes her love, she’s talking to both of them. Thaddeus as a lover and Newt as a good friend. They both made her feel loved and valued when others didn’t besides Dumbledore. In case you didn’t know there’s a Harry Potter game which I’m sure you heard of called Hogwarts Mystery. You create your own MC and you play a story that takes place 11 years before Harry Potter comes to Hogwarts and not only do you learn magic and improve on it, you can also adopt some of the creatures that you see the Fantastic Beasts movies as well as the Harry Potter films. And you can even name them. 🪄💛🖤
Hey guys. Love your reaction as always! I’m watching this later, so I see that others have told you the mix up of the two Dumbledores. That was the elder wand. Remember in Deathly Hallows Voldemort learned from Gregorovitch, the wand maker that Grindelwald stole the wand from him. We learned in the first HP, that Dumbledore defeated Grindelwald, which would make sense that he won the loyalty of the elder wand.

No, Creedance is not Albus's brother, he is 'A 'Dumbledore. Also you need to check out 'House of the sisters Black' a short film that will reveal who Bellatrix is related to.
Remember in the deathly hallows when Voldemort went to Gregorowitch to get the elder wand We saw the young Grindelwald stealing it from him - Grindelwald has the Elder wand 😅
No, that's actually Albus (played by Jude Law). Albus had not yet acquired Fawkes the Phoenix; the phoenix that belonged to Albus' great-grandfather was a different bird. Remember in Half-Blood Prince, when Dumbledore and Harry are about to leave from Dumbledore's office to go to the place where Voldemort had hidden the locket, and Harry said, "I thought no one could apparate in or out of Hogwart's," and Dumbledore says, "being me has perks" (or something like that)? The minister and his helpers being able to apparate into Hogwarts in this movie is why Dumbledore has the castle set to not allow apparation except for him. Nicholas Flamel is the only known maker and owner of the Sorcerer's Stone. Aurelius was NOT in Harry Potter. That was ABERFORTH. Aurelius is Aberforth's son, Albus' nephew. The last Fantastic Beasts' movie is called "Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore."
4:45 they didnt switch... It was at the beginning.. Polyjuice potion did it.. When you see him first at the jail.. He was not actually Grindelwald already.. :))
Which is one of the things in this movie I hate the most. It's stupid, because she would be able to read his mind too, or at least of all of his much less stronger followers. So she should know his and their plans and could never fall for his BS. Rowling can be really thick sometimes. At least as the screen writer in these movies.
I feel so sorry for Queenie. All she wanted was to marry Jacob. Well... they could get marry, just not in America, because at that time wizards/witches and No-Majs couldn't be friends or get married in the US because of the Rappaport Law. That's why Queenie wanted them to get married in London, as European wizards/witches had a much open mind regarding their relationship with non-magical people. However, Jacob didn't want Queenie to get in trouble because of him, that's why he didn't want to get marry when their marriage would be outlawed in the US, where both him and Queenie had built their lives.
I think Queenie is a stupid wizard criminal for puting Jacob under her spell in order to make him marry her against his will. Yes he loves her, but that is exactly the reason why he does NOT wat to marry her. She would be braking the (US) law and be put in prison if they did marry. In Harry Potter we learned about Voldemort being a child born without any love, because his mother (Gaunt) put his muggle father under such a spell because she loved him, but he didn't love her. In that story everyone thinks it a crime, and also in this movie when Lastrange puts a spell on a married woman to make her marry him (Leta's mother). So to me Queenie is just as bad, even if the circumstances are different. But a lot think like you, feeling sorry for her, which she does not deserve. It is the worst kind of betrayal of Jacobs trust in her.
nooooo that was Albus Dumbledore, this movie is the prequel to Harry Potter. Grindelwald was the dark lord before Voldemort. Tom Riddle(voldemort) was probably just a kid in Hogwarts at this time.
