Everyone says their new tires 'tip in' faster, that's cause they are round and the tires you just took off were starting to square off.
I wouldn't put Dunlops on a wheelbarrow. I see Suzuki have issued a recall on the vstrom 800 cause the Dunlop OE tires are dangerous.
My latest Dunlops (Raid) had about 500 miles on them when Continental put me on their TKC70’s. I felt like the 70’s were much more neutral that the Dunlops (less quicker turn in). Sorry about your Dunlop experience, I’ve had good success with them.
I got about 8k miles on my anakees, I'm not a fan of them too noisy and never trusted them completely. Got the dunlops Trail max missions at the MOA rally, $350 installed and so far I really like them. They are quiet, handle well and I've got a lot more confidence off road. You are right they do tip in quicker but that's not a bad thing. I've got about 2k on them now, couldn't be happier.
Very nice! Glad to hear I'm not the only one, although I just have 1 day on them. I can't recall but I think our trip is around 1500 miles or so, not sure. If I can get out tomorrow I want to ride a few local long dirt / gravel roads up to some passes to check out my confidence level with them. The Michelin's just felt like they floated around, never were planted and just had me a bit pucker factor'd in the dirt. BUT...I also suck in the dirt so there's that.
Hi, the noise was so much an issue for me on the Analees that I went to Pirellis Scorpion Trail. Great on road and silent but I lost track ability. On the 1250 GSA noise is an issue. Have you found the Dunlop really less noisy? Thanks.

Just fitted mine. Tip in way faster and it feels weird coming from the Annake, almost fighting it, but sure it will be appreciated in a couple,e days. I got 15000kms out the Annake though and great road tire.
Yup, won't take long to get used to it. Quicker tip in but not a huge deal. Glad you like them!

How are the DTM tires on the 1250 on road?
My only experience is with OEM Bridgestone Batlax A41, and they are great in wet roads.
I ride 80x20 Road/OffRoad, reason why I never changed, but time is coming and I need to decide what to get next. I usually get a lot of long distance and rain riding style.
Really appreciated it.
They are absolutely amazing although....having a tough time finding them these days. I see Dunlop has the Raid tires now, not sure how different they are but will probably get a set.

I really didn’t notice that much noise from them, especially considering the road noise of the MotoZ Tractionator’s or similar.
Have a trip coming up, more feedback on the tires then. Initial impressions: Quicker turn in than the Michelin and just on normal dirt / gravel roads they seem to be more planted. But...what do I know. Seems like a great tire however, time will tell.

Dunlop's over the Michelin all day every day. Getting another set in a few months.

never buy this michelin tires. you will find many small leaking tiny holes later. serching online, you could see the video. I got this problem only after 5000km
