Plenty of room, not that hard to get in or out of. Really hold you in nicely. And they look much sportier. Now a “bigger” person ...probably not the best option.
The reason we love Chuck IS because he has no filter (and because you can tell that he really takes pride in his work and treats the customer's car like it's his own).
Rick, no doubt Chuck is a terrific Tech. And he most likely would make a great salesman, it would be refreshing to see a sales person without a filter. A straight forward sales person..Not that you aren’t, you are so upfront with your vlog.. no doubt an information source for us Corvette owners. Keep them coming! 😁

I thought you & Chuck went to the driving school in Pahrump NV? That is one of the 1st lessons you should have learned about the seat belt tensioners when they showed you how to set up your seat for the correct driving position to use during your on track sessions. That & your hand positioning on the steering wheel which the Corvette engineering team made super easy with the new squaricle C8 steering wheel.

On Star is great when it comes to diagnosing your check engine light. They can read the codes and even tell you what is wrong with your vehicle. I agree Rick, I really like 👍 those rims too.
Very nice ride. As soon as I have a new job, mine will be on order. The wife decided to accept my 16 ATSV Sedan as hers and I can get a C8! Now for a new job....
They are easy for a do it a yourselfer to do. I ordered one with my car and the code was STI and the cost was $550 including labor at the dealer. They are a hard black plastic but not carbon flash. It’s for looks and to protect from stone chips.
Marc G I thought of that too but my dealer suggested the black extensions for my car specifically because I’m getting a convertible with an all black top, black wheels, black mirror caps and black fender stripes so it goes with the rest of the car. The car is yellow and I’m adding a lot of black accents to go along with the black air blade on the side of the car just to tone it the yellow a bit. If I decide I don’t like it latter it’s easy to remove.

I had a black Jaguar F type R series and I wrapped the rocker panels and mirror caps in red and they didn’t match anything else in the car but they looked great anyway. It’s nice that we have so many options with this car.

Hi Rick. The high wing spoiler was cancelled by GMC not the factory in Canada I did call them today. In fact they have some of them in the stock GM told them to hold it.the company have no issue with .

The Comp seat was fun for about 5 minutes (5'-11" 170 -33" waist), unless you are racing. GT1 and GT-2 are great. Everyone is different...........Aren't choices fun? Spec grey trident, thumbs up. Clear film protectorant, permanent installation would be better, 3M product. Seat belt operation,yes! Figured that out by accident several years ago. NCM1730
Anything "not built", GM has already removed that option from the order. Check with your dealer, if he looks at your order, it will be gone....sorry to say

Doing that race wrap was stupid. Put Xpel on the car professionally; you are going to need it anyway. As for seat belts; been doing that for 20+ years but start with seat back & down more than you want it then lock the belt and move the seat to your preferred setting and you will be solidly locked into the belt/seat. No race seat or belts ever needed. As a 20+ year DE instructor for Porsche I show this and proper seat position to all my students before we hit the track. Lay your wrists over & passed the top of the steering wheels. If it's a stick - right foot the clutch to the floor. If you do that you are in the right driving position for tracking. So many people sit way too far away from the wheel. Ever watch a Nasar race, in car view of driver ? they are on top of the steering wheel. Why - put your arm straight out as far as you can - how much strength do you have - very little. Bring your arms close - then you have the strength of your shoulders & upper arms instead of just you wrists way far away from you.
Great VLOG Rick those competition seats bolsters are to high and make you sit tighter in the seat with little or no movement which most corvette driver's would want the GT1 or GT2 seats for comfort-ability and long distance driving. When you mentioned odometer mileage on a brand new car, my ears perk up. So I zoomed in @10:39 to check the actual mileage out - 4 miles, OK. Brand new cars should not exceed 4 miles - I bought (5) brand new cars, I was treated well, all less than 4 miles. New car (demo's) are much more than 4 miles.

Some manufacturers allow you to choose a size when you order competition seats. Like a new saddle, you got to break them in.
