Bentley GT3 Steering Wheel Replica for Sim Racing

- My replica of the Bentley GT3 Steering wheel. Backplate cut from Aluminum 6mm, handles wrapped in PU leather.
Based on Fanatec Podium Hub. DIY four paddle module with dual clutch, all magnetic. Works very well, pretty fun projects. Electronics are built around Arduino Mega Mini as the steering wheel has too many inputs and displays. Works with SimHub.

Nice music; good wheel!
Looks good 👌👊
Great job, I'll make a similar one anyway, but for DD Moza... thanks
your awesome man
Thanks, man 🍻
Hello, the code can be used on Arduino since I wanted to open the one that shares and it does not allow me to copy all the code content, it generates an error.
Very, Very, Very wonderfull job. A question, I saw your work, but i don't understand the Hub connection. Do you made a connection throuh the Arduino for the fanatec hub buttons or you simply connected them? Thanks a lot
Thanks! The side 2x3 buttons are cluster and connecting to hub directly as it supports 6 buttons. Arduino mega takes care of the rest - two top buttons + everything else. Of course the paddle module is connected through hub as well.
@@57uyo But in which way I can "copy" the original cluster? (the clubsport fanatec)
@@simonemaggioli9849 Hub has two 4pin ports, each 3 buttons have common ground. Pi out is here: www.racedepartment.com/threads/diy-fanatec-podium-hub-steering-wheel-and-extra-info-for-connecting-buttons-to-the-podium-hub.206705/
@@57uyo ahhhhhh ok now I understand! Thanks a lot!!! Olso for the answers. Maybe I'll make your project!!! Thank you so much!!!
Hello, do you have the references for electronics? I would like to do flying.
Thanks in advance
hello, good evening brother, do you intend to sell the schematic of the project? or post it on Thingverse like your other projects? I am very interested in this project, I want to do it for myself, thanks in advance!
No intention on selling and it is gone from thingiverse. You can PM me, more details are in the other comments…
Where did you buy your round Vocore screen?
It is brand new model, next month will be available. I already ordered one from vocore website.
Please tell me you don't use that fov...its just for the video, right?
Correct, this days not much time for AC. Either way I prefer it in VR…
dope wheel replica, only if the buttons where backlit. that is fanatec is lacking BIG time
Yes, and by the time they start selling it will be obsolete. At least the Ford Puma module has backlit. My replica also designed to have it 🤪
@@57uyo
are these your wheel designs?
I think your thingiverse link got taken down, it disappeared
Yep, gone never to return 🤪 lasted long enough
Great Job !!! Anyway to download the files of the project?
Thanks! Not so easy but you can always PM me here: diy-sim.com/sim-projects/wheels/complete-wheels/item/bentley-gt3-steering-wheel-replica
@@57uyo why chrome said disconnected
@@lifzz-gv1sx it is fixed now
SALUT BOSS EST-IL POSSIBLE D'AVOIR LE PROGRAME ARDUINO ?
It is made in SimHub but i uploaded the sketch also on GitHub: github.com/StuyoP/Bentley-GT3-Replica-Steering-Wheel
merci pour le sketch mais comment a tu fait pour qu'il soit reconnue comme un joystick? ( manette)
How electronics used? Code sharing?
SimHub configuration, nothing special. Will be sharing profile tomorrow, keep and eye on description - will be posted on the link provided already there.
how do you feel now that fanatec have a replica themselves?
he probably feels good that he saved a ton of money lol
He probably to the idea from fanatec or where ever he bought the stuff from duh. And no fanatec doesn’t have one of these they are in building faze still and not even released or a release date so technically fanatec doesn’t have shit 😂
I'll believe Fanatec when I see it on sale. 😂
