ACC Drive is an app that I use all the time. It has a lot of overlays, similar to Race Labs, although the look is a bit less fancy. It does the job very well. F.e. track map, fuel calculations, radar, tyre data, standings (with LFM / iRacing rating). It also had a lot of engineer info when you look at it when you are in the pit (avg tyre temp, brake temps, etc). And it can start your other required apps. Really good app.
Simhub because i realised that Arduino Nano is not a Hid device so the button box function will not work and the only way yo make it work is via through simhub😂😂😂😂
I use DRE (Digital Race Engineer) as an alternative to Crew Chief. It has some features above Crew Chief and does some better than Cre Chief. Give it a go, there is a free version.
These monthly payment models are getting to be an absolute joke…….

I got no issues paying for something, it’s the recurring monthly fees that are an absolute scourge, just tight scummy practice
@saglike93 I hear you and I completely understand. I’ve had to cancel mine as 1) I don’t drive in ACC as I only drive in VR and 2) I need to spend that money elsewhere. 👍🏻

As someone who plays on console only, this video has shown me a whole nother universe that I feel like was gate kept from me my whole life. Why did I not learn about all of this earlier!?😭😂

Thanks for the great tip apps.... But one thing I am avoiding and literally hate..... Membership apps.... I want to buy no problem. But one time only. I hope this trend will stop.
Completely understand. I might take a look at Delta again to test out all of the extra features they’ve added to it and put out a video of them 👍🏻
Simhub can be used as overlay and extra hardware is optional
That HeliCorsa looks great for iRacing! I have RaceLabs only for Telemetry, their radar is painfully bad IMO, but the map and Telemetry are great.
Is there one like that for iRacing? I use Racelabs' too but i agree its not good

iracing manager is great too, as it will just boot all of these programs when starting the game, so if you use your pc for other stuff you dont have a million sim things running for no reason

Crew chief is amazing, the encouragement is unbelievable, If your fighting he gives really good info and pushes you so hard It really helps.

Awesome content. I am looking at subscribing to virtual racing school for track and car setups. Do you know how VRS compares to Delta that you suggest in your video?
I don’t I’m afraid as I’ve yet to check out the offering from VRS. If you do go that route then let me know how it goes. How do they compare cost wise?
It is $10 per month, but I think it only provides setups for iRacing. It does have some cool features like the ability to ghost the driver and car that set the lap record with same setup they sell to you.

I use armamentario cause I dont know why I have problems with racelab app. I cannpt see the overlays 😢. But Im happy with armamentario. Tge only thng miasing is the overlay with clasification and ELO

I got disillusioned with Crew Chief as it was not telling me my lap times each lap (even though I had set this as a 10). Maybe i need to give it another go.
I would. I've not had that issue before but you can also ask it questions too as you can map a push to talk button and configure that within the CrewChief app. 👍🏻 It didn't hear me with my Valve Index 😂 but I've yet to try it with the Quest 3. Let me know how you get on 🙏🏻

how do i make the fanatec v3 pedals work with simhub, i turn on the rumble effect for braking but feel nothing

I'm just now really g er thing into sim racing I finally upgraded my setup after like 4-5 years of using a g29 and shifter with a crappy cheap wheel stand to a Moza setup now I just gotta get a decent cockpit I'm getting a NLR wz 2.0 this DD tosses my current wheel stand all over the place and when I use the hgp shifter it flops around and same with my hand brake and I roll all over when I brake it's all so very annoying I guess it adds to the seed xp anyway I can't wait till payday the wheel stand 2.0 is happening for sure

As a console driver. I just want a way for my steering wheel to have its buttons all function as if i was on PC and have a shit ton of buttons on my wheels useable.
What you recommended as most useful for f123, im currently playing on controller so some stuff wont be as useful as on wheel
The overlays from RaceLabs are very nice and there is a free version so you could try those out 👍🏻 Input telemetry isn’t going to be of any use to you on a controller but there’s lots of others. Let me know how you get on 🙏

I couldn't get Race lab app to work. Firewall doesn't block it, port is also not used, but it's still says that it can't start.
What’s the error you get on screen?

1.Time to time anti-virus applications could start blocking the application. Please try to add RaceLab to the white list of your anti-virus application. Anti-virus application sometimes also have a 'live protection' section where the application can be also blocked. Make sure you whitelist RaceLab there too.
2. RaceLab is using port 8080, which is essential for the application to run properly. Sometimes other applications can use the same port which will conflict with RaceLab when you're trying to start it.
3. How to check if port 8080 is used? Open 'Resource Manager' in windows, go to 'Network' tab and check the 'listening ports' section. Go through the list to check if port 8080 is there and you will see which application is using it.
I followed the instructions but nothing worked.

Specifically in iracing you shouldn’t even be allowed to play without crew chief.

You’ll still need a PC of some sort but try these steps from SimHub: github.com/SHWotever/SimHub/wiki/SimHub-Basics----Games-config-and-troubleshooting#about-consoles-configuration
Essentially as long as a PC is on the same network as the console the game will broadcast out the traffic (using UDP). SimHub simply listens for this and then can display this on to a device.

As for Race element, it manages all kind of content like setups and liveries for ACC, but it's also got custom HUDs :D (free software)

I don't even use the in-game overlays/HUDs. Why would you want half your view taken up with information that drivers don't have access to irl?
