    When the pin get stuck on the trailer when trying to slide it back two things tap the pin with a hammer to see if it goes in or pulled your trolley bar handle then rock the trailer back & forth that should relished the pin for trailer .

    Have you ever done alley stop? I did six alley stops yesterday and apparently swiped one customer’s camera off the side of the building as I was exiting the alley. That shyt is embarrassing. I never had an accident before even in a personal vehicle.

      Yeah I’ve done a couple and they are a little troublesome. Sorry you had to experience that, I’ve had one accident when I first started USF, but you will overcome it for sure. Just get back to doing what you always do and that’s be great behind that wheel bro. Never having an accident up until this point is commendable

      I appreciate that. Come to find out, it wasn’t even me that clipped the camera. I asked to watch the video and pointed out that wasn’t me. It was another driver from a week prior that did the same stop.

      @kassimabdullahi5143 Dang, how did you find out it was the prior driver?

      @@TayTheLocalTrucker they showed me the video and the driver was backing out of the alley to busy street. I never back out of the alley. I go forward to get out. Also the truck and trailer was not mines and he has different skin complexion and was wearing gloves.

    Are yall paid by the hour so that your paid fairly when your held up?

    • @TayTheLocalTrucker

      Well I personally think it should be more than $20.41 a hour but we are paid hourly when we are delayed. If we work a route on Saturday or go help another driver after we finish our route, we are paid our average hourly rate which for some of us is $50 a hout

    • @leaundraeshepherd9170

      @@TayTheLocalTrucker wow...I considering coming on board. How long does it take to hit $50 an hour?

    • @TayTheLocalTrucker

      @leaundraeshepherd9170 the average hourly rate is calculated based off of how much you actually gross per week once you hit your 13 week mark. So after you hit 13 weeks the system will average out what you have grossed over that time span against the hours you have worked and it will formulate that average. So on any PTO day or holiday pay, your pay will be 8 hours times your average hourly rate

    You get an assigned truck at your dc?

      I’m not sure about the DC but we don’t have assigned tractors on my drop yard

    Y’all don’t have side ramps?

    • @TayTheLocalTrucker

      I believe we have some only on some of our liftgate trailers

    • @Taylortrucking

      That’s wild man. I thought it was standard to have a stowaway side ramp on all trailer. The Sysco I’m at has rear and side on all trailer. Threw me off seeing you dolly your ramp to the side.

    • @TayTheLocalTrucker

      @Taylortrucking oh no, I have to move it from the tail in to the side.
