Hey Taylor trucker I have a comment about the same situation I work out of Las Vegas NV area years ago with Crystal Peaks water company which is out of business now a sister company of Anderson Diary. Any way one of my stops was on the strip busy as all heck delivering bottles water to consolidated reality the only way to park is at neimun marcous Mall then walk it down on the strip neimun marcous did not like me parking at there location because it was a valet at 10 am there work start time, I had told my boss about this problem they were always kicking me out of the spot and not being nice about it so to solve the problem instead of being my last stop it was my first stop so working on the Las Vegas Strip became easier and more relaxed in and out and done no mess or fussing about parking.
@@TayTheLocalTrucker it’s local company smaller than gfs and Sysco, family owned. I was city bus driver now decided to get my class A. Looking forward to new chapter in my life. Love your positive vibes.
@@07iggspirit That’s awesome bro. Congratulations on getting your A’s, I think that’s the best version of a CDL we can have. Best of luck to you on your journey at the new company and I hope it’s prosperous. The big dog companies will be salivating to hire you if you ever want to move on from there.
I think it's a crime that these companies don't all have liftgates by now. They clearly have more than enough money and they are even too cheap to have a helper per truck
Bro I was delivering to a jimmy johns at 5 am and some dude came over saying he’s sick of being woken up by my air brakes popping even though that was my first time delivering there I really wanted to tell him to get lost but he threatened to call the cops. Knowing I represent the company I handled it more professionally than I normally would by apologizing and telling him I’d get that stop scheduled later in the day here on out. Crazy how much these Karen’s out here be making out jobs so much harder.
That is wild 😂. Bro they do not care about us just doing our job. A lot of people have a serious disdain for truck drivers, especially those of us in food service. The vitriol can be a little unnerving but we just keep doing what we got to do. Way to handle it like a professional though because in the companies eye, we will always be wrong if our response is anything but professional.
@@TayTheLocalTrucker for real bro I had another Karen today complaining that my reefer running is so bad for the environment and I need to turn it off 😂🤣 these people think their food magically appears fresh at the restaurants and grocery stores I guess.
Impressive and well said.

If you slide the tandems to the back it will lift the rear and you would be able to back to that dock without scraping it.
I’ve tried it, it moves the rear up just enough to get by, but one time it still ending up scrapping so I went back to how I usually make the delivery
