Why YOU need to start a YouTube Channel in 2024

- A video about the upsides and struggles of wanting to be a TH-camr. I remember back in 2012, I always wanted to start my own youtube channel. The idea of being online was my escape from reality because I wasn’t happy with who I was in real life. And I was able to learn more about myself and how to become more comfortable with who I am by the people I’d admire online. Like most kids, making videos was fun and could be considered the “ideal dream”. But as a reserved kid, I was even too scared to put myself out there online.
It’s been LITERALLY 12 years of back and forth of “I’m not good enough for this, I’m scared of what people might think, etc etc”. But I’m learning that people genuinely don’t really care about what you’re doing. And if you want it, that's all that matters, right?
So, for the past couple of years, I’ve been dipping my toes in the water by making short videos on Instagram - essentially a digital portfolio of who I am and who I can be. And I realized how much I fell in love with creating content (but with a purpose). That purpose is - self-love. Why wouldn’t we all want to strive to become the best versions of ourselves? But now, I feel my confidence shifting towards my original dream -- TH-cam.

1 minute and 30 seconds and the editing,filmography, and music are Amazing.for such a small youtuber right now you have so much skill. One critique i might find which is just my opinion is that making a TH-cam channel is pretty niche even tho everyone has tried to at one point. But this video was pleasantly surprising at how good it was! Also third comment lol

And yeah i agree, finding your niche on youtube is definitely the smartest strategy when starting out (even if you tried before), but I’m learning that it’s something that can be developed over time. I spent so much time doing research and trying to figure what i should make to the point where Id get overwhelmed after not finding a clear answer. Analysis-paralysis is real. This is where you don’t want to be, and you should just start creating after you have a general direction of where you want to go!
