Congratulations! This blows my mind. I have been consistently uploading every week since May and I'm at 182 Subs. Sometimes I wonder if it's the topic that people need time to build trust with me as an instructor cause I have good watch time. And people aren't binge watching yoga classes. I've got my V.A.L. and everything! I am still plugging along and refuse to give up.
I reached the 1000 about a week ago...took me 13 days shy of one year. I started knowing nothing so had a lot to learn...I have loved my journey so far, and look so forward to the future. 😀

The first time I had real growth I had just tested Roberto Blake’s tip of pimping out your channel. He called it branding, but I like your term better 🙂, that little extra step earned me an extra 40 subscribers and Roberto himself watched and commented on that video. Fast forward a few months and I was approved into the YPP two weeks ago. I also focused on bringing people to the platform and even recommending other creators videos on my own when I still did not have enough of my videos because I remembered this was a tip you had given on another video about growing as well.
Jessica, great video! Could you do a video, sometime, of encouraging those of us with children and limited time of how to stick with content creating or how to get on a good schedule to do videos? I feel like I am really struggling right now! But, I always love checking out your videos, because for some reason, I feel like you're my neighbor! Maybe it's our strong southern ties and our home state being NC.
I lost my job as a chef in December and I am really starting to double down into my channel and other social media now that I am in between employment. I want to be my own boss and make people happy with food again, and restaurants just aren't cutting it right now with the pandemic. I already commented but I am so grateful to content creators like yourself, showing us how youtube can be a realistic way to provide ourselves with income and grow. So thank you again!

And here we are...we took our channels serious from day one but the subscriber number is not that impressive though 😢 but we're still moving forward 🙌 i hope some miracle will happen 😂
I started my channel last year in October and going in not focused on anything! Had no clue about seo and just uploaded just cuz...I left and went on hiatus for 6months and was actually surprised I was still getting subs. Came back and started back up in September and got super focused, learned about seo and search optimizing my videos. I was at 110 subs. I grew it now to 706. I had the most growth just the past couple of weeks...was at 500 on the 7th and here we are over 200 subs in like 3 weeks. When it upswings, it upswings and starts snowballing with the momentum. My goal is monetized by the end of January 2021.
Creating playlists of other people’s videos is such a great idea! I’ve watched so many videos like this, but your the first one to say this. I’ll need to try this!
I recently heard Derral Eves tell someone in a livestream "not to bother" trying to drive traffic from Facebook. My heart sunk because my niche has many local and regional FB groups where I have been able to share the videos and drive views. You helped me realize it may depend on the niche and that part of my strategy may not be completely lost!

I recently heard Derral Eves tell someone in a livestream "not to bother" trying to drive traffic from Facebook. My heart sunk because my niche has many local and regional FB groups where I have been able to share the videos and drive views. You helped me realize it may depend on the niche and that part of my strategy may not be completely lost!
