  • In this video I will talking about the movement of your trail arm in the backswing and downswing and the particular "feels" that you need to have. How you move the trail arm throughout the swing can have a big impact on a lot of different aspects of the swing, so ensuring that you have a good understanding can really help to improve the quality of your shots.

    This is one of the most clear explanations of trail arm snd wrist movement i have seen. Much easier to digest and understand than Pete.

    Hogans magic elbow, I’ve used this drill for years and it works so well. Your lessons are explained simply and help enormously. Congratulations, as most YT coaching is a waste of time and counter productive.

    Hi Jonathan; while trying this I noticed that the drill also forces the top wrist to flatten as well which is a bonus to the drill.
    It makes it nearly impossible to cup the top wrist which makes the tip even better. Awesome job & thanks for your videos.

    Would the movements you describe apply to wedges as well?

    • @JKMGolf
      @JKMGolf  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      This depends on the distance you are hitting. If you are green side then it is different but if you are hitting close to a full wedge in then yes

      @@JKMGolfthnk u. Yes i was referring to full wedge shot. Its just that i always struggle with full wedge shots. Often shanking off the toe.

      No, it’s a complete different intention than Pete Cowens swing theory..

      I just watched Cowen's drill on the trail arm & wrists & when he demonstrated it, the left wrist was a bit cupped which shouldn't happen. When Faldo did his drill, it was flat as it should be. Ledbetter was standing there while Faldo credited Cowen's drill so I wonder what he was thinking.
