Death's Gambit - Galaxy Mage Amulvaro (Normal, No Damage)

This is a pretty fun souls-like Metroidvania despite some of its bugs and flaws. I like being able to trade healing items for more damage. Not to mention you can refight harder versions of the bosses you've beaten, so doing this guy on heroic should be more fun.

Definitely! I uploaded this one to show friends (and will upload Thalamus too because even though it's not all that hard it is a really good Lovecraftian horror themed boss). Other than that I'm making my way through the game and trying to do them all hitless. I might upload one or two individual heroic ones but otherwise I'm going to compile it all into one video when done.

have you even tried heroic Amulvaro? that boss is insane! i have a broken bow strategy clip on my channel and even with it this boss is just too hard on heroic, so little time to hit him and so much hp!

i'm at the "easy" heroics atm... I've already saw your shard farming vid, really nice strat ;)
i have the broken gun shot strat i've seen from the guy who got WR speedrun 2h40, works fine atm but i'm sure the harder heroics will be no joke :')

I hadn't had much time to play during the week but finished all the normal bosses hitless last night. I took out the easy heroic ones hitless this morning (Bulwark, Forgotten Gaian, Cusith, and Origa). Started Heroic Galaxy Mage and it looks intense. Got to phase 2 so I'll see how well it goes tonight after work. :)

i chose ng +3 at the end screen and now im struggling with normal bosses even with the broken bow tactic xD
however it doesn't seem that bronken at the HEROIC NG +3 HORSE BOSS (did vid too)
it seems like that's the only strat that will actually kill him before he destoys all platforms and oneshots you
