I just noticed something about this fight it’s really sad because every time you kill endless she keeps “reliving her greatest regret” until she finally gives up..damn
It's just unusual in the sense that Endless doesn't have any motion tweens. Every other character including your own has at least one motion that's tweened, but Endless's motions all appear completely animated by hand.
What are you talking about, around 80% of units are hand-drawn. Really small number of enemies is using skeletal animation, and when it comes to the hero only climbing and horse riding seem tweened.
Especially given that his mother was a noble knight, his father was already dead and then she sacrificed herself to save him. So that's not breaking the walkman. That tossing it in a fire and calling it worthless in the process
„How many times have you died trying to reach me!?“ When i Heard that i only thought: I Killed many endbosses. Some were easy. Some were Hard. But you... You are the strongest i have Met Prepare to die
No. Its not fun. It`s like DS on steroids. Unless you play a perfect build and dont go for heroic bosses. And then there are 10 NG+. You can beat this game 11 times and each time it will get harder.
He means that you have to play with the most optimal build rather than what you want to. Like i in dark souls 3 was playing the most stupid shit like an archer with dark pyromancies and was dealing like barely damage but still got through the game and it felt good. Trying to do similar here... Not going to work.
RichardTheSloth don’t just tell him/ her everything good about it tell him/ her the negatives as-well. Dawg this game needs a lot of work the button mechanics are not responsive half the time an the bosses also deal Random ass heavy damage out of nowhere an also the bosses and enemies seem to have a long as reach that will have you like “ how in the fuck did this mf just hit me” just bought the game so far story wise an aide stuff is well worth the money. But if u want a smooth game with great gameplay go buy dead cells. Don’t get me wrong I do get the vibes of castlevania a little bit it’s just the gameplay if they fix the bugs this game has then it will be a better game.
Okay, so Sigur used the phoenix down in a ritual to revive her brother who was literally a skeleton without it's legs strapped to a plank. What if you got Sigur to come into Caer Siorai to perform that ritual on Endless? That would be a nice ending if it was in the game.
It's coming to switch real soon, in like 10 days, but it's out on steam and PS4 already. I'm responding 2 years late, but I really recommend you get this game.
Death's Gambit is all about Sorun going to war to find his mother after she left some years ago. While doing so, he gets himself killed, and Death has him signs a contract so Sorun can continue looking for her, all the while he has to put a stop to an endless war between immortals as it's not the natural order of things.
If you break the contract when you get it and then complete the game without dying, you'll just skip all but the first part of the last boss. There is supposedly some little extra content if you do this on new game+ with a full clear and whatnot, but i haven't seen that part personally, so it might just be bogus.
It took me 30 hours. 10 hours of the first playtrough, which I made alot of mistakes. Then I started a new one and beat the game in 20 hours, also beaing multiple bosses in heroic (harder difficulty for bosses).
Themes of death, immortality, and irredeemable mistakes of good intent warping the fabric of reality itself, punctuated by matricide... ...and melancholy piano.
Man... This game's artstyle is the best I have ever seen. But I still refunded it today because I felt the gameplay was absolutely horrid. The main character feels weightless and there is no clear way to avoid enimies' attacks. It's a shame, really.
M.A What do you mean? I don't have the game but I have seen a lot of footage from it, and enemies telegraph their attacks well. You don't have to grind either, in fact there is a trophy that you get for beating the game at Level 1 in under 4 hours (in one sitting). Can you give an example?
Blake Berry if you don't have the game than it is hard to describe, the enimies attacks have way too much range, the movement if your character is sluggish and weightless, you don't swing fast enough to not get hit by the first few enimies in the starting area. That's not to mention the technical issues I've had.
RichardTheSloth So? Difficulty shouldn't be artificial as is the case here. "Have this much health to win" is not a gameplay mechanic, it's a time sink. Every battle is one of attrition, and I don't enjoy that much. I'm glad you do though!
The development started way back, before dead cells even began the official development. 2013 vs 2015 (Rough recollection, somebody please correct if wrong).
@@qwormuli77 that doesnt mean it couldnt have been inspired on deadcells, if it came out later they still had time to change some aspects of the game to fit that game style. Still, they are quite different, I'd say they are similar but non intended to.
Dark Souls 2 is the hardest because it abuses of artificial difficulty, and if you don't play like DMC, it gets boring and tedious. It's also the worst cuz bosses and areas = pure trash. DLCs were the only good thing about this game.

The ending to the fight was pretty sudden.
"So live..."
Then a hard whiplash-smash to Death's domain.
The final boss just so happens to be the best-animated one in the game.
I'm just wondering if it was an intentional stylistic choice or not. It just stands out so much.
Of course they put more effort in the final boss

Insulting the hero’s parents is like breaking a Walkman in front of Star Lord. You just don’t do it.
I get the reference :)

Supposedly if you break the contract you can fight Death after but nobody confirmed it since doing so activates Permadeath.
I think the game is incredibly difficult to be able to do with one life.
Really? I broke the contract before the last boss and nothing changed. Are you sure?
And, honestly, it is not that hard. 50-60 hours of it and you will probably beat it without dying in your next playthrough.
The last trophy requires beating the game in less than 4 hours at level 1 lol.
Its for memes. It is impossible to do so. Literally.
I just clicked to hear Matthew Mercer's voice.
Been awhile since I could play a game where I can fight my mom and she is a badass warrior guess I'm buying this

Endless is the easiest boss in the entire game, Owl king got nothin on her
Such a good fight such great bosses an incredible soundtrack but the story was so bland and uninspired.
This was one of the worst souls-like games I've played
Looked too easy.... Dead Cells is better
It's not better just because it's harder. Look at Dark Souls 2, it's the hardest one in the series but also the worst.
AngelZX filthy casual
Its the hardest because of the stupid multiple enemies going against you, not because of bosses.
I played it like DMC because I get bored waiting trying to ambush every single enemy, and then the bosses were disappointing, the DLCs were fine.
