Should be done tomorrow with wiring my Dakota Digital HDX into my ‘72 C10. This was a WONDERFUL video so see so I can know what to expect and know what my options are. Thanks so much for putting this together, my man.
Thanks man! Very valuable info and great presentation! Now I’m no longer intimidated by a digital gauge system. I put old school AutoMeter gauges in my ‘79 El Camino for only a few hundred dollars less than your digital rig. Next car I may go digital!
Very awesome informative video rare to see someone do such an in-depth review and cover such a cool piece of car technology! Really going to look into this for some of my rides! Thank you for the extensive coverage!
Thanks, I have a 70 elcamino and definitely will be looking into these gauges. Dakota should give you a little kick back. I had no idea they did all that.
Very good video bro ! Iam installing same in my 72 Mc next month. I will have a few extra accessories going as well 1 being the tire pressure sensors . Hopefully they work well.
Loved the video. Nice set up in your Monte Carlo. I have a DD RTX gauge set for my 1950 Chevy truck, but haven’t set it up yet. Your video answered lots of questions. One more question, does the app show real time gauge information that’s not available on the gauges?
Just looking at those screens and imagining all the info I would want to display got me wonderin'... Could you set it up so one screen shows Compass/Temp, MPH, and Odometer, then the next screen shows Range and Fuel%? Or do they lock in what them main 2 screens can show?
You can choose with screen you want the info to be on. For instance if you wanted oil pressure right in middle you can have it there or you can have it one the right screen top or bottom.
Hey brother you ever get that Range reading to show up correctly?? I'm building up my OBS silverado with a custom dash and looking at the HDX gauges. That "range to E" would SUUUURE be nice to have!
Not yet. I haven't played around with it much lately. I'm going to reach out to their support team. I think it's something that I'm not fully doing properly
I came to this one right after the Sniper video. Excellent presentation. Sweet ride. A man after my own heart.
Haha! Me too! I agree! Excellent presentation! Extremely valuable information!

No problem at all!
the Incandescent looks so sweet and vintage... especially if you had it on dim at night. Great video!!!
Thank you! I think I may give that a try

This is really good, man. Awesome job. I will be setting mine up soon.

Outstanding review!!! Thx ma guy. I'm looking into Dakota digital for my camaro project. The details you give are on point!!!
Thank you! I don't think you'd be disappointed with them at all.

Appreciate! Let me know how it turns out. I've been thinking about adding the tire pressure system to it.
@ParisTheMotorhead will do , it'll be about 4-5 months before I get it back on the rd . Going in shop Monday with everything new except the frame.
Love it! How did you wire the blinkers so the original ones worked? Thanks

Thank you! From what I noticed the app is pretty much going to mirror the available information you already have.
Have you had any problems with your oil pressure gauge not reading correctly
How long did this install take
I just ordered the RTX Dakota Digital RTX-70C-CVL-X or my '70 Monte Carlo
That's a great choice. I would have gotten the RTX but when I ordered mines they weren't out yet. Didn't know they were doing RTX's.

Bro you on Monte Carlo fB group ?
Yup I am
"very impressive!"
Have you had any problems with your oil pressure gauge not reading correctly
I have my suspicions about how accurate it is. I want to get me a manual gauge and check it to see how accurate the Dakota digital sensor is.
@@ParisTheMotorhead my gauge reads low at cold start but when i gives it gas it starts reading correctly
