I love my HDX. I am having my first issue. I cleaned up my engine area but all the wires in looms and made it pretty under the hood. I disconnect the battery. Now am getting: The buzzer going off And "BT Idle" showing up on the display. ANY HELP would be appreciated.
Good morning, Sorry to hear about the troubles. I would suggest contacting out Tech Support staff directly. You can reach them at 800-852-3228 or techsupport@dakotadigital.com, they can assist in bringing this Bluetooth setting (BT) back.
I got hdx gauges in my boxchevy with a LS engine but I can’t get my fuel gauge to read right and I went and fill my tank up and went in the settings and tried to do it manually but the gauge wouldn’t go all the way to full. So am I do something wrong ?
Hey! The stock sender should be 0-90ohm; make sure "GM 90" is selected in the FUEL setup menu. If that still doesn't do the trick, with the tank full, go into the FUEL setup menu again and select TEST; this will give you a look at the ohms being read by the control box and help us zero in on what sender you have, or if the sender is faulty. If you're STILL not up and running, please contact our tech support team. 800-852-3228 dakotasupport@dakotadigital.com
Hello Mack, In the HDX menu, navigate to the "WARN OUT" section. Then, enter the "BUZZER VOL" submenu, this will allow you to select a volume range from 0-10.
Hello, All Dakota Digital instrument systems will include a control module, as well as sensors for the Speedometer, Oil Pressure and Water Temp. If you have a functional fuel level sensor in the tank now, that can remain as-is.

If you would like to utilize a GPS speedometer, the GPS-50-2 would be required. But, since the 4L80E transmission has a VSS onboard, you could connect to this instead, creating a wired connection to the Dakota Digital system.
Hello there, The app functionality is limited to the HDX and RTX platform of instruments. Unfortunately, this will not work with the VHX Series, such as the 94-04 offering.
Since the printed face of the speedometer cannot be changed on the fly, no; you'll order the system with your preferred units. Additionally, you can see both MPH and km/H speed units in the digital message centers.
Unfortunately not, the app is a component of our HDX Series of instruments, this line offers applications up through '94 Chevy Trucks currently. Thanks for checking in.
Or maybe hdx version? I’d love to have a set for my truck just not satisfied with the guages that’s offered for my model. Don’t get me wrong I’m sure there nice as heck but for 800 bucks I’d like something more than a basic cluster that’s offered for my 95

I really wish I had gone with dakota digital gauges in my k5, I went with new vintage instead and have regretted it ever since
Thanks for the message,
Maybe on the next project!
What all I need to buy for it
Thanks David,
The "Dakota Digital Automotive" app is free, used with an HDX or RTX system.

Running an ls with 4l80e. Will running the app give me a gps speedometer or do I need to add on gps module?

Does this work with the 94-04 mustang digital dash

does it come with kilometers instead of MPH ?
Thanks Mohammed,
Yes, this can definitely be special ordered in metric units.
@@DakotaDigitalTV that's good to know . I'll look into it once I get done with my rebuild . It's for 1996 tahoe lt 2door.
Does the HDX model require a temp BIM module and gear position modules or can the BIM 01-2 work for all the sensors needed for a 2005 6.0/4L80e Swap?
Typically the BIM-01-2 can pull transmission temp and gear position data from your application.
U cant change mph to kmh ?

Me too, I can’t get my dash to speak to my iPhone... Bluetooth on YES, key on YES, no clue, correct....
How do I find the app? All I can find is the motorcycle app
Search "dakota digital" in the Play Store or wherever you find your apps.
I cant find the app, is it down?
Are you Apple or Droid?
I am apple :)
