To be honest, I like the factory rally gauge cluster look those years. That said, the RTX looks like a nice unit if you had the lower trim level ones.

They look nice. My only gripe is the speedo and the tach look funny with the sweeps not centered in the gauge face circle to accommodate the display screens.

The last comment I posted about the exhaust system would sound cool with the Hollywood exhaust... that with the Monte carlo would sound mean !!!, like a Boss 429 exhaust I bet the Hollywood exhaust system would sound awesome just a suggestion no big deal its your car plus if add 3 turbos with electric assist would sound so Sci-Fi
That was pretty cool... i hate my 86 ss only goes up to 85mph, I wonder if I could order a new MPH gage out of an 87 that goes up to 125MPH? What engine are you running in your SS? Thanks for sharing man, great job.
When doing the dim wire into the Dakota Digital control box did you have to add power or do anything special to make it function correctly?
Idk why but I really feel like the emerald light scheme is the way to go with the headlights on

I've heard a ram 350 1992 w/ Hollywood mufflers exhaust it sounds awesome it was like rrrr rrrrr rrrr rrrrr rrrrrr rrrr then the turbo whine
Question the cruise and speed out are hooked up to the 3 wire plug all together?
Did you ground the rocker switch or Did you just connect the wires to the control box?

I have installed a 4l60E on my 86 Monte Carlo with a TCI controller. This kit will be good to just plug in to the transmission speed sensor correct…?

I'm curious about the cruise control setup you mentioned. Did you use the factory style vacuum servo, or go with an aftermarket style unit? I did a TPI conversion on my "87 El Camino and I haven't been able to get my cruise control to work since the conversion.

Just got the dash installed into my MC , now my headlights or front turn signals not working. Lights only come on with the high beams . Any suggestions, anyone????

Where did you find the wiring diagram for that pigtail for the turn signals and fuel Im very in need of that
You can find them online, but I have a factory service manual that I use, it's been a lifesaver for me
yo i order the dakota i heard i also need to buy the digital gps sensor also
Did anyone ever install this one and know the brights will not turn off. Anyone have any suggestion on this????

I have no plans on going back to car reviews anytime soon. I enjoy what I'm doing now, plus, I'm now running a shop with a good friend of mine doing restoration work for clients so I have my hands pretty full at the moment.
