Great episode! I like that it looks retro and stock but, also with modern goodies to monitor everything. Great to protect your investment in the vitals! If oil pressure goes low, there’s no way you can miss it. That’s super cool!
Thanks for the Video.....What a nice install. Dakota makes a great product. Kudos for not saying the other product was Pure Crap....Your a better man than me....lol..... Enjoy. Stay Healthy and Safe My Friend..Regards..
Hm, watched this the first time :-) And the Beep Beep Beep Beep still pisses me off... LOL Damn cool Dash... it almost makes me want to buy an American Muscle just to put a dash like that in ;-)
I was debating with myself on getting the retro one for my squarebody because I have the blue carbon one in my OBS didn’t realize those were so much different
I have a Dakota Digital dash in my 1965 F100. I love it. Question - I recently added a Holley Striker EFI. Can I plug my old Dakota Digital into the the Holly Striker ECU?
You should hit up DeadEnd Garage out of Mississippi. They make a mount for the controller that puts it under your dash above your steering column.Uses a single existing bolt to secure!! I have one going in my '72 while I'm doing this engine swap.
I have a 72 C-10 and put in the Classic Instruments cluster. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of this one, but comes in lots of different looks... plus it is made in Michigan. Also, what is up with all of a sudden having so many ads interrupt the video?
Awesome gauges, love em. But also had a question. What mufflers (exhaust as a whole) are you running on that truck? Sounds of Angles when you started that thing.
Cheater! LOL! Better than me, bought a set of Autometer gauges off eBay from a chevelle project. Add in Billit Automotive Buttons, led indicators and other switches. Throw all this into a Dodge dash and... Had to fabricate a lighting module with resistors to balance all the led’s and found an led dimmer from Abletronics to handle all the circuits. And one day it will all be back together again.
Pretty sweet setup. Need something like that for my Duramax cluster - haven't checked to see if one is available. Will soon, though. Great video, as always.
I noticed on their website that the photo of the cluster has a mph needle that doesn’t quite match the digital reading. I’m interested to know if that is really an issue on yours. I plan to order this. Thanks.
Wow, I am amazed. Best instrument cluster for the 67-72 Chevy trucks by far.
I installed a Dakota digital gauge set in a 71 camaro for a customer. I loved it as well. Had no issues and seems like it is pretty accurate.

Looks great. I like the original appearance to that instrument cluster.
Everything looks so easy and smooth when you do it. I have installed one of these and they take a lot of skill and knowledge
and you sure have that.
Really not to difficult but Thanks🤓
Of course the title "what a cluster" had me going in a different direction but my life choices can take the credit for that. Nice job.
That's a very cool unit ! I'm digging the original style gauge faces and warning lamps for oil pressure etc. Very good choice ! 🍻
Deja vu. It seems I've been here before.
Nice lookin' unit.
BeeZo So it’s a rerun, I don’t mind. I’ve seen every episode of The Rifleman several times though.
Looks good. Now I want one for my 59 Apache.
Great Upgrade...MUCH better than the last one.. It will be interesting to Re visit when you get it all dialed in
Definitely need one. Still running the original cluster with my LS swap.
100% improvement. That other dash looked like something from an Iroc Camaro.
Great looking cluster really liked that.
That’s a nice piece of kit. Modern convince with a period correct look.
Cool! Makes me even more excited to install mine in my Squarebody!
Wow Lucky, that set up is awesome, what do they say “Buy the Best, Cry once”, now I just need to convince the Wife’s the Truck won’t run with out it,
Haha, good luck 👍🏻
I liked the original edit of this video much better but info and content is the same. Thanks, Lucky! 🙂
That looks great Lucky! Hope to see it at quarantine cruise 6!
Yep
Looks slick. I'm dealing with wiring problems on my 77 square body. I'd rather be wrenching than playing with wires.
Wow you first cluster on your own ride finally......cool as can be lucky.....🤙✌
Thanks for the Video.....What a nice install. Dakota makes a great product. Kudos for not saying the other product was Pure Crap....Your a better man than me....lol..... Enjoy. Stay Healthy and Safe My Friend..Regards..

I wish some one made digital dashed for Aussie Falcons! That is such a sweet upgrade!
Hm, watched this the first time :-)
And the Beep Beep Beep Beep still pisses me off... LOL
Damn cool Dash... it almost makes me want to buy an American Muscle just to put a dash like that in ;-)

I still use Autometer Pro Comp Mechanical gauges. Only problem is they don't talk to my phone.
Lucky hair farmer Costa 🤣

Seeing this video I am glad I spent the money on Dakota Digital, just annoyed it looks like they sent mine to Lucky...
nice Rolex watch lucky
I wish you were closer to me...
Did you have to run a splitter on the canbus so that you can still use the 3.5 inch screen?
very nice
lucky for President
Can you say the name of the other brand you pulled out I don't want too make the same mistake.
Intellitronix
Ive been looking at them for a while. Some day soon ill pull the trigger
I've been working on getting one but the aussie dollar sucks bigtime. Goin to be a while yet.
Nice!
Great gauges with a factory look. Do they give you the option to reset the odometer to the current mileage or is it going to start over again from 0?
Will it display AF ratio with a wideband hooked up?? I wish they put a wideband in the center instead of a clock..
