After using five Chinese learning apps, and watching multiple Mandarin language fantasy and drama programs on Netflix, I feel that your lessons have put everything together for me! This is my third language, and I learn best if the Chinese word description is shown "hen" = very and "hao" = good, which means "hello" in English. Many teaching methods skip the middle step, which is to give the "exact" meaning of each Pinyin word. You don't skip this step, and you realize how important it is in order to really "learn" a language! You also concentrate on the basics and not how to order from in a restaurant. Great job. Xièxie, xièxie. 😊

I'm HSK 4 and yet I learned many useful stuff from your channel. This is the best Chinese Learning channel. I recommend this to every student like me. You deserve more subscribers. Your voice is very steady and very nice. And you read very slowly. Very easy to understand. If I continue watching, I think at HSK 5 I will get good marks. And how are you doing in the pandemic? What are you doing in lockdown?

THANK YOU for putting the Chinese word order in English along with the English word order. I have never seen any lessons do this! Trying to figure out Chinese word order has been SO difficult for me! Your simple technique makes it easier! I think I can get it now! Thank you so much!

I like how you put the word into specific context so I can apply it for myself and I find that if I learn vocabulary in a sentence form, I feel like I can mix all the new words together and then remember that sentence instead learning each word individually.

I love the clear, slow pronunciation, the availability of pinyin, the literal translation and then the standard English equivalent, just perfect for beginners.

these are very helpful. One tiny suggestion. Have a tiny bit of gap between saying the sentence in Mandarin before translating to English. That way, those of us still practicing our listening skills have a little more time to figure it out before hearing the "answer". (I can't seem to hit the pause fast enough to slow things down.)

Thank you very much for the efforts you put in this video. I truly grateful that you put both the hanzi, pinyin, direct translation word by word, and the translation for each sentence.

Thank you. I grew up speaking Spanish and then in school English became my first language by learning how to write and read it. Now Mandarin is my 3rd language in process. Xie Xie

I have absolutely no idea why I was recommended this as I’m currently studying Japanese not Chinese.
