Just a random note. In vinyl sim on the sp404, the first knob isn’t “ring” its “range”. It’s referring to the frequency range. All the way to the right, its the full frequency range, and all the way to the left, its filtering out the highs and lows. Reducing the freq range 👍🏻

I know you're busy on TH-cam bro, but I have a MPC Live and SP-404A, and I'm thinking about buying a 303 or 555 on Ebay. Can you please do a video in the future on how to pair them up as far as connections and how to actually play them off each other?

I love my 404 sx but I've been hunting for a 303 too just because I want that compressor. It sounds more gentle and less pumpy than the 404 compressor which always seems to be pretty aggressive.
I dont do basslines tbh. EQ Can help bring the bass out of the sample, or you can use noise and other textures to make the beat sound full without the need for it - especially in lofi!

I like using the 202 & 303 a little bit more than the 404 but all 3 of them are pretty fun to play with
