Really dig the beat boss! Nice to see you killing it on the pattern sequencer. It’s a little tough at first, especially without quantization, but you got it down. When I first got mine, I thought it would be an accessory to my beat making, but it became the primary mode for how I make beats. Cheers!
@@RYANMAKESBEATS It´s not like you´re the first to do this type of video neighter :) haha. Sometimes I think alot of people just get this piece of machine just to do tutorials for others. LOL
That is a great question. If you are looking to get into sample based beat making, I would say this a solid place to start. It is also a pretty versatile machine, as you will be able to do sets on it and use it for effects. It doesn't have the best sequencing capabilities though, I typically have to start incorporate other gear if I want to make a full track. I would say it is a good piece of gear to start sampling on, especially since you can usually find them for a decent price as well. Thanks for watching!

Literally almost had a heart attack 🤣
Triplets on the hihats, reckon.
What is the sample you used for the melody?
The sample is from Without Love by Peter Brown
@@RYANMAKESBEATS nice man!! Thanks! Did you finish this beat in the end?
Yeah I added an intro, some drum mutes, and vox just make it a bit more interesting. But the main sequence of the beat is definitely the backbone!
"SP 404 arrived today and the first thing I do is make a tutorial of all the things I know about it :) LOL hahaha
