Two years next week my husband committed suicide on my birthday. He was an alcoholic and a drug addict. We had just bought this little cottage on the lake. Thank God he didn’t die here. I have embraced this little lake cottage and have made myself busy making it a home. I am making it by myself. It can be done, I am living proof and so are you!
@@lezlierussell2834 yes this is why I came here near Bass Lake CA your story is the same as mine. My Brooklyn was a major dealer FBI / NYC situations were closing in. It was a few days after his birthday 🥳🎈 🎂
I started watching you about a year ago; which was about 9 months after my late husband died from an awful illness of brain cancer. I was in deep despair. I was lost. Once I discovered you I started eagerly waiting for your video’s every week. You have been a lifeline for me with hope and love. As I isolated you were a friend who visited me within my home, and brought comfort. You reminded me of who I use to be. I love so many of the same things you do. Thank you so much. I am truly grateful for your videos. God bless you and Desi. I am very happy for you and Desi in your new home, just thrilled for you.
Thanks you for sharing how changes in life creates pain and how Desi inspires you in your everyday life. You inspire me. I come from the other side of the world. You Tube bring people together. Thank you and thanks to Desi for giving warmhearted and honest life experiences to me. I needed to read your words. And Desi lift me up. Thanks to both of you. Big hugs from Norway🇳🇴🌹🌹
The Blue dress is lovely on you I’s very playful,!,👍 But I really Louie the last dress with the wide brim hat ,,👍you have lovely shoulders. Show them off Girlfriend Cheers🙋♀️🇨🇦🫶🏻
I came across your videos after hanging up with my youngest son. Feeling a ball of emotions. Sadness, confusion mixed with a feeling of a deep sense of needing to make some changes. I am turning 60 this year. I find myself in a new Season of life after losing my beautiful Mom in 2020 & my boyfriend who was my best friend 6 months ago both from Covid. I think I’ve watched 4 videos so far. I have cried so much not from sadness but a feeling of inspiration. You are such a Beautiful woman. Full of life. You have given me inspiration again to keep moving forward. I believe in God & I believe He guides my steps I believe He guided me to you. Thank You Beautiful for touching my life. ✨🕊️✨
@@suzihazlove4979 Thank you so much. ♥️🙏 When someone feels alone & isolated it’s rare when you hear or see such beautiful words of kindness to a wounded heart. You do not know how much your words mean to me. I trust God but there are times I feel alone in my healing process. As I watch her videos she has a gift of bringing us all together in our pain our struggles. It truly does feel like a safe place here. Thank you again sweetheart. God bless you! 🕊️🙏🕊️
Hugs to you and Desi! 💞 Though the first half of the content made me cry, I love how you inspire me with hope. Like you, I don't feel strong enough to hope. But I am certainly able to dream of the life I want for myself after my husband left our 26years of marriage. It's very difficult to lose both a husband and a best friend. Susan, I admire you lot. You are no doubt my inspiration to dream and work in the life I want for myself. Thank you for sharing your beautiful thoughts, your story. Love, Minnie 🌿
Hi Little Poet, thank you for your inspirational videos. I am 61 and had to leave my 'situation' or I would no longer be on this Earth. You are an inspiration and I love watching you and Dezzy, on how you overcome this sad and confusing situation of finding ourselves very much alone.😞 The picture of the house towards the end of your video reminds me of the house they filmed "Sophie's choice" I am probably mistaken, but it was like flash-back from that beautiful yet tragic film. Sending you and Dezzy much love and thank you for helping me to understand that there can be light at the end of the tunnel. God bless you all. ❤
I am so sorry you have had to go through all this pain and sorrow...I wish I could have seen this comment months ago...how are you doing? A Merry Christmas to you!!! xxoo Susan & Desi
You are an inspiration to me... My husband left me at 59 yrs old and 43 yrs of marriage... But God is good and I to healed and moved to a different city , met a wonderful man and married again at 63 ! We have a nice peaceful life and I am truly blessed. I stumbled upon you the other day and I so enjoy your videos and I just love Desi ! Thank you for all the kindness and your gentle spirit.
What a beautiful comment. Thank you for putting into words how Susan's videos affect our lives. She does bring kindness and her sweet gentle spirit. I'm very happy for you that your life is not only okay again, but joyful. I went back to the love of my life at 50. Change is possible and dreams are still possible. You articulated that beautifully.
Hi Susan, it's Sarah here from the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia! I wanted to write to say how happy I am to see you thriving and doing so well! It's wonderful to see you blooming happily in your new home - I'm a flower farmer, so I'd love to come help you do your garden! - and I'm SO impressed with how you have reinvented yourself after your divorce and grown your life, and your TH-cam channel! It's AMAZING! And a huge credit to your resilience and naturally joyful spirit. Plus, your little man, Desi is obviously a gorgeous companion! I relate so much to your story as my husband - whom I loved deeply - abandoned me after 16 years of marriage for a woman he met on the internet and knew for eight weeks! I was fighting cancer at the time, my two children were only 8 and 13, and I freely admit that I was plunged into to a scary, dark, ugly, wretched place for years and years, as I was dumped and divorce without any explanation or another word being spoken to me. He left and never gave me a backward glance. So I relate keenly to how you talk about the complex feelings that come about after a marriage ending in such a traumatic manner. It's a terrible shock, and it takes heroic courage to make the choice to recover, whenever that eventually happens. It absolutely is NOT a straight line, and it takes many, many stops and starts along the way! I have spent the past 16 years reinventing myself - I've also had three other cancer relapses in that time - due to the insane stress I was put under - so I consider myself a real warrior of life! - and now I live on my own, I have a lovely home, I'm surrounded by my darling children and devoted friends, I have my own beautiful community on Instagram who follow my style and life, I grow gorgeous flowers that bring great joy to many people, and I'm happy to say I'm happy. It's taken years and years for me to rebuild my life, but you are so right, we CAN MAKE IT ON OUR OWN! I love that you are encouraging so many women to be at peace with where they find themselves at this age and stage of life - especially for those of us who didn't imagine we'd be where we are - and I thank you for the wonderful community you have built here to support each other. Sending you and Desi a big hug and kiss, and I'm wishing you all the very BEST in your new home and life ahead! With thanks and love, Sarah xo
I’m so sorry for all that you have been through. Obviously you are a strong woman and you hung in there and reinvented your life. Wishing you much happiness in the future. 😊
Oh my… what you have fought back from and against. Thank you for sharing; you have offered a senior woman hope as chemo for one cancer almost killed me… my oncologist told me she had to transfer my care to another oncologist and recover before I could start radiation. She said (it was during early covid) that I could no longer live alone… I was losing my balance & falling out of the shower 🚿 my blood work was plummeting… you know the drill… my former husband told me to come live with him, across the country, close up my condo (my 1/2 sister from Buffalo drove here with her husb to help me close up my small condo) and put me in a wheelchair for the plane ride to a familiar face, kind treatment and it was a respite in the spare bedroom, my own bath and I slept for 3 days! He was afraid I died and kept checking to see if I was breathing…) Fast forward to today and I am doing well, work part-time and if I make the “5 yr mark” we are celebrating 🥳 as the best of friends with a trip to Hawaii! I am SO grateful 🥹 What a community we have here! Susan reminded us tonight to talk about the good feelings… we have all faced our own ginormous challenges! Look at us grow, change, survive and even thrive ❤ Know this is long but Susan has created this special community! Amen 🙏🏻
@@candicebuchanan4845 Hi Candace! Such a small world! We do love our special part of Australia, that's true! Though today is wild, wet and windy, so no going out and about today! Stay warm. xo
Taking things one day at the time is easier said than done. Four years ago I ended a thirty year marriage cause of mental abuse and right now after a lot of hard times and really finding myself and my voice and a great new best friend I have just survived cranial surgery where a aneurysm was clipped. Physically it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever been thrue but emotionally is the healthiest I’ve ever been. I’m 65 and live with my tiny 12 year old yorkie in a lovely apartment with a great patio and my life is full, I’m happy, I love my church family and they are always there for me. You can find happiness and peace at any age . God bless you
You allowed yourself to heal..I'm 61 and I'm at the best time of my life. I'm a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I have my little home and my 2 cats. It has took me over 20 yrs. to make it where I'm at now. I'm a recovering addict. I got clean over 3 yrs. ago. During Covid..
The votes are in and it’s a landslide. Susan, you can wear any one of the outfits and be GORGEOUS!!! Have a wonderful time at the wedding. I love your home and your street. It looks peaceful and well, just like home. It reminds me of my home growing up in New York.
I am not Muslim; and I agree with what you have said. The idea of "manifesting" seems to me to be a North American "woo-woo" idea. Gratitude builds a positive attitude and helps open doors.
@@barbarakelly1916 honestly, the belief in us being able to manifest is a belief that probably exists on every continent in many forms. Sufism is an example. It's just that the power to will things into being is a very high power and it's hard to believe we mere mortals are capable of such greatness.
My husband and I downsized in 2004, he got sick in 2006, died in 2014.. for the first two years I was numb I couldn’t do anything in the house. I often thought about moving. But I have the best neighbors. I’ve been here for 19 +years and even though some of my neighbors left, I feel so safe here. I asked the Lord every day if he wants me to move let me know.. so far no answer so that’s my answer.❤ I love my five perennial gardens their small, but their mine❤ I am so happy for you and Desi that you feel safe and your neighbors are neighborly.😊have a blessed week, again, thanks for sharing💐💐love the floral Christian near the end👍🏻👍🏻
After my hysband passed away 10 months ago leabing me struggling ginanciall and emotionally. Something happened last week thst sent me into s tail spin. Negative thinking patterns followed, the house I was hoping to move to in a town new to me suddenly seemed unaffordable. (Its more than affordable, negative thinking!). After watching your video today im getting back to enjoying the small things how blessed I am and looking forward to exploring a new town and letting the joy back in again x thankyou xxx
Hi Susan I loved your video this week. I’m on my own now after my spouse abandoned the relationship after 34 years. Everything you mentioned seems to be my emotions constantly. Trying to pick up the pieces of my life everyday. Starting over being grateful for a spoon or fork when I had such a great life before the breakup so I thought. Now I’m getting strong everyday not exactly where I want to be but grateful to God for each new day. Creating plans and setting goals for a brighter future. Thank you Susan for showing me it is possible to have the life you really want. Your channel really inspires me and gives me hope that yes life will get better. Love watching you and Desi!!!! ❤
Hi from Annie all dresses look nice the third one grey outfit is nice looks in the middle range not too showy and it seems like a nice area so friendly close to shops and others garden looks nice with bird bath and plants A few statues around garden like Angeles n Buddha etc look relaxing etc,
LP: Susan, I'm voting for the Great Gatsby Caftan. The simplicity of the flowers are sporadic and appear hand painted. The Asian infleunce gives and the way it drapes adds to its designer look. It also provides a bit of coverage to the upper arms, without adding the bulkiness of a jacket.
I totally relate. My husband left me and our 7 dogs just one day without a word. Everything from what I thought was an amazing life to my world turned upside down. I am still on the path to healing and finding out my purpose with my new life now. It's an emotional painful struggle but your videos are comforting because it's like you understand. Thank you for being here for all of us who are hurting and finding our ways. ❤
I know seven dogs are a lot. I have three and I have to say I’ll take my dogs over my two ex-husband’s over and over. My dogs are loyal and love me unconditionally for who I am and bring so much joy. I hope things get better for you and I’m thinking about you. You hang in there. 💖
@@antoniafoster8264Sorry for your loss! I'm happier without my ex-husband and one passed sadly. I'm 😮a 😅senior with my adult daughter 😮and our furbabies! I'm a stage3 cancer survivor. I'm grateful. Best wishes!❤❤❤❤
Definitely the Blue Christian Siriano Tiered Maxi Dress W/ the small blue purse. Could also wear a small white or pale yellow purse with it. Look forward to seeing more dresses❣️
Hi Susan. Regarding the dresses. The Christian Siriano Dark blue with flowers really brings out your features and color. The white one with flowers by the same maker would be the runner up in my opinion. All of the dresses were beautiful, however, those two really stood out. Hope this helps. Can't wait to see the others. Thanks for the video. I am struggling with my emotions at this time as well. I moved from a big city to a small town where cousins live to raise my son. He is grown and married now. Cousins are here, but busy with their own lives. So many things in my life I do not like right now. This morning I said to myself, the sadness has to go. I have got to find a way past it. I thought I should start to focus on what blessings I do have and work from there. Your story gives me hope. Thanks.
We have been in our downsized cottage for 8yrs. I love all my neighbors ❤ I know their kids, pets, give & recieve cookies on holidays but at the same time nothing more than friendly conversations and keeping a eye out on each other's houses. Just enough, but not to much. Apparently once they saw me making my yard nice it inspired them and also the cookie exchange. It's great to have good neighbors ❤❤❤
I am so happy for you….the kind of solace and neighborly love and caring is what I dream of. At 61 and divorced now for 21 years, I dream of selling my condo and buying a house again and recreating the life I desire. Thank you for the words of hope.
I'm so happy for you and your cute little house. You've been through so much and you deserve all the happiness and excitement in your voice. You healed in front of us and taught us we could too. Awesome!!!
For a wedding, I liked the dark dress at the beginning that had a white coat and a wide white belt - then a purse by Patricia Nash - it looked formal and it would be beautiful with pearl necklace / pearl earrings, or nice gold jewelry. Thank you for always showing such positivity and compassion for your neighbor! The Good Lord has blessed you more than a hundred-fold. As the saying goes: “it is always better to give than to receive.” You have given of yourself in so many ways - love ❤️ is repaid by love ❤️ alone! God bless you and Desi always!
The Great Gatsby dress is so beautiful and is my choice as of now. You’re a real show stopper! Congratulations again on finding your home and your heart.❤️
The great Gatsby Chiffon dress for the wedding. Absolutely gorgeous and elegant. ❤ After 2 years of searching for a house in a hot market, hot area, today I have a contract. Never give up!
I love your phrases ... a story in themeslves: too broken to hope .... from $1.49 to a home of my own ... there would never be in my future ... I was grateful to have a microwave ... I was grateful ... lived in the moment ... let the joy in and allowed myself to feel joy ... grateful for every single thing ... strong enough to dream but not strong enough to hope ... one day/one year at a time. GIRL! You're awesome! I believe the Lord led you there. I like the Venus dress -- Desi kept watching you in it and i think he voted for that too! Keep living! Get to know Him!
you brought tears to my eyes,,,,it really is real,,I survived and thrived and what I want most in life now is for every women out there hurting too broken to hope,,,I want her to dream and find real happiness real love for herself.... beautiful self....love always, Susan

What an absolutely beautiful, honest and transparent video! I love your gratitude and joy, dear Susan! Those are the qualities that make you absolutely gorgeous! Thank you sweet neighbors for loving and caring for our dear Susan… You have a treasure in her! May the Lord continue to bless you and increase your joy❤ PS. For a summer wedding, I love the fluidity and lightness of the last Christian Seriano dress on you and the hat is perfect!
Hi Susan:). I honestly loved every outfit but the dress with the hat was so pretty and feminine on you. I love watching you and Desi together:). So cute when you’re talking to us and he’s asleep on the couch close to you❤️. You are bursting with happiness and it’s wonderful to see ur journey. That neighborhood is priceless-so welcoming and beauty everywhere you look:). You are so blessed. Ur finally home and more adventures await:). God is great🙏🤗💛🌹🌸🌺🌷🌻🥀🌼
Susan, I love the black dress but the ones with the flowers and hats to match seem more appropriate for a summer wedding. Please do show off your beautiful shoulders! They are very rare in ladies our age. (I'm 68)! I'm so happy for you in this chapter of your life. May God continue to Bless you and your Grandchildren.
You should be a model darling.....the Venus dress a knockout on you but also the one with the big sun hat.Really you look stunning in all of them.enjoy!
An update: I am staying with my father who has dementia. It is so hard. He gets up at night. Goes outside, yells, and needs so much help. You look into his eyes and see such a blankness. He isn’t there. He asks the same question every 30 minutes. Please pray for me. I miss my home. I miss my Dad…who isn’t there…just a shell.
I am praying for you Helen....you are such a hero. This will pass and you will remember all you endured and it will make you so strong...but I realize, you are mighty strong right now. Love to you always, Susan
THE GREAT GATSBY!!! ...that's definitely the one for the wedding!!..A Beautifully breezy, floating floral perfection; of a summertime wedding dress!!! And I'm so glad to see you looking so happy in your new little daydream home!!! I'm just loving the fact you feel sheltered and loved, by all your surrounding neighbors!! Even Desi is looking so happy these days, outside with his new found friends!! I'm so very happy that you both now have found, such a very soft place to land!!! Blessings dear hearts, as you bloom in the garden of life, you are now planted in!!! Miles of smiles to your hearts..as you flourish and grow; in each love filled moment at hand!!! "
I can’t think of a better town for your sweet soul to live in. You deserve the best in life and I thank you for sharing your light with all of us. Aren’t we lucky?
Hello Susan! You have no idea how happy it makes me, to see desi playing in his yard with his neighbor friend. ♥️ The Venus dress looks so pretty on you!
So far I like the white maxi dress with flowers for the wedding. I also like the black one a lot but I was brought up not to wear a black dress to a wedding. LOL maybe that has changed now I do not know. I do love your new house and your neighborhood . And being close to your grandchildren is such a blessing. Have a good week Susan. I wish your videos could be longer. They are always so inspiring and uplifting! May God bless you for the rest of your days. You truly deserve it! I have also been where you are now and before your husband left you, so I can relate. But you have came a long and I am so proud of you.❤
Oh the last dress your tried on. With the hat, perfect👒👏. It look so perfect for a Summer wedding. Keep safe and happy. Sending love to you and Desi🐕 as usual from Rosie🌹 O from Devon England 🇬🇧x.
You are the sweetest. May God always protect you and continue blessing your life. Love your neighborhood. All the dresses were beautiful. I specially like the last one with that beautiful hat. Greetings from Arizona!!!
I really like both Christian Sirano dresses. I cannot believe that I have found such a wonderful channel. I have been watching for a long time, but have only commented a few times. Your videos are so inspiring. You are a plain spoken lady who has gone through some incredibly difficult times, yet you keep a good attitude. I often replay some of your videos when I need a boost. Thank you so much.
I like the grey and white dress because it is subdued. A wedding is about the bride and groom, not about the guests. Meaning that a guest should not outshine the bride. I love your little town - it sounds very precious.
My husband is moving out next week. I am going to be a single mom of two. Here's to new beginnings and healing 💕 P.S. Welcome to Northern Michigan, new neighbor 😊
Hi everyone, Take care of your home and it will take care of you. A roof over your head a confe bed and the joy that it is all yours. Your joyful heart will attract good neighbors. Life is so good ❤️❤️❤️
You live where my grandparents lived!! My, husband and I owned property in Evart and I just love it there! Watching these videos bring back some beautiful memories for me! I just lost my mom in Feb and seeing these videos makes me remember how much she loved it there too! ❤️❤️❤️
Oh thank you so much for telling me about your beautiful Mom!!! I love living here...it feels magical...like I am home....Happy 4th to you and yours!!! xo Susan & Desi
Hi Susan, I'm sending you lots of love from the UK. Life can be very hard sometimes for all of us, but you have proved that you should never give up! Im so glad you have found your happy ever after xxxxx
Great video❤️❤️❤️❤️And the WINNER IS ! The last white floral dress , the Christian Siriano !👍! PERFECT for your summer wedding ! So Happy you love your neighborhood ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😀
Hi Susan While all the dresses are lovely, I vote for the blue and white chiffon caftan for you to wear to the wedding- IMHO the other dresses while so pretty are a bit too casual for a wedding, and the black one would be more suited for a cocktail party or an evening event. The caftan is very feminine, flows, and fabulous on you. I loved the reference to the small town in Picnic-your video looks just like the backyard behind Madge’s house. Really appreciate the words about taking one day at a time and being content with what we have, and having faith to look ahead. ❤ to you and Desi.
The Dez's little bow tie looked so much like the colors of Summer. Made him even a more handsome little guy. Love him so much! I am so glad to see you both so happy! You deserve it. ♥ 🐶
Susan - another great video that speaks to the heart of so many of us. Your neighborhood and neighbors are just lovely. And oh, the dress that is so “you” is the multi-blue, Christian Soriano tiered maxi. The color just made your hair, skin tone, and your eyes “sparkle and pop”! Thank you for sharing another week with us! Hugs to you and sweet Desi.
@@LittlePoet The multi-blue, Christian Soriano tiered maxi looked STUNNING on you! That's your dress! It is perfect for a summer wedding! Desi is so cute visiting his new friends through the fence. I'm so happy for both of you!
I would love to live in a neighborhood like yours but I don't know if I could do the snow as I have lived in South Florida all my life. All your outfits are beautiful and you look so pretty anyone of them would be beautiful. Thanks for the uplifting videos you make, you give so much hope to so many. Thank you.
Hi Susan - I vote for the two Christian Siriano dresses. Those dresses can be dressed up or dressed down---much more versatile. Whichever one you choose, you'll look beautiful, because you are. So happy for you and Desi in your new neighborhood and new life. Enjoy, my friend!
I love The Great Gatsby so far. I love that you are making friends with your neighbors and aren't isolated in the new town. I've lived on my street for over 20 years and only know one of my neighbors. It's mostly rentals and people move in and out so fast, no one bothers to even learn their names.
So interesting how so many of us share the same feelings at the end of a long marriage or relationship. Scared, guilt, feeling sorry for ourselves, etc. But almost always we pull through and usually do better down the line! Desi is the epitamy of a happy little dog! I love the Starry Night Halter and the Great Gatsby Chiffon on you! Lovely! Marian & Lilibet
The tiered multi blue maxi stood out!! You look great in all of them!! You and Dezi are so happy and at peace...I can see it in both your eyes. I can so relate to you and your journey. I had 1.24 In my account and one step at a time I picked myself up and changed my life...bought 2 houses in last 8 yrs. Such an amazing feeling!! You are blessed and you know it. Love your house and yard
I know what having to leave my home and all that I built from scratch and start over again feels like. I've been there 😢. Thank you for trying to inspire other women our age 😊❤
Hi Susan! I know it’s to be continued but I just love the Great Gatsby dress! Your neighborhood is absolutely beautiful and reminds me of neighborhoods that you read about in books.
In 2010 I moved from a very large Texas city to a tiny little town in east Texas. Population 500. It took forever for me to get use to the slowness. We built a new little house way out in the country. I absolutely love it. I could never go back to the large city. We don't even have to lock our doors!! It is so safe. People are so friendly. Enjoy your new home.
I love the 2 Soriano dresses and the soft gray-green Gravel dress, which is so lovely with your skin tone. Btw, I've been watching you on and off for a few years now, and it makes me happy to see you so joyful now. It truly does. Love to you and Desi.
When my Grandmother passed away...the main thing I wanted was one little plaque. Hanging in her kitchen. It was a set but wanted only one. I think you will like the saying, too. "A little hone, a garden plot. Ill be content with what I've got." It hasa little house, flower garden, pets, and little white fence. I think they were small trivets. I'm glad she hung them and didnt use them ,except to share quote next to her stove. I want a Teddybears are welcome sign!!!! How delightful!!! Thanks for featuring the mockingbird. My statebird of TN. DIDNT know the fact about the female bird. 😑🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶 Love to you and Desi. 🤟🙏🌺🌻🦒
Susan, I am so happy for you. I love your cottage and I especially love seeing sweet Desi in his yard surveying his kingdom. That precious baby that was kept in the closet, found his happily ever after when he found you. I have shared some of my story here, but I’m not sure I shared about forgiving “them” and forgiving myself. I made numerous bad decisions in my previous life, my life as a single woman after a long term marriage. I had to forgive myself, every poor decision taught me something, every tear, shaped me into the person I am today both good and not always so good😉. I could wallow in my self righteousness, or I could forgive and move on. It was not easy and I still have to be mindful of me falling backwards. I remind myself, I can’t change the past, I have no control of others the only person that I can control is me. We are not responsible for what others do, we are responsible for ourselves. We are responsible from what we put back into this world and what our legacy will be. You are a amazing example of working towards your goal and it may of taken some time, but you my dear precious friend, arrived exactly where you are supposed to be. ❤
The Great Gatsby dress is stunning, and the one following it with the hat. All look good on you and would be perfect. Your new town has a little bit of everything! So happy for you and Desi!
You live in an area that defines what America was and can still exist. Concern for others, dignity and respect for surroundings and a love of country. Hooray for the neighborhood ! Lovvvveeee the great Gatsby one...bright and I'll bet you felt pretty in its class! The others are typical..
Hi Susan, your honesty about the eight years of struggles you experience is worth a Million to women who are in that space in life and can see the light at end of the rainbow. You look radiant beautiful in this video - contentment, gratitude and inner joy shows all over you; WOW! Your new neighborhood looks like the perfect fit your life path at this time, and people are polite. Now, my choice of dress for the August 5th wedding is.... (drum) - Belle by Kim Gavel, V-Neck Maxi Dress. The colors are perfect for a summer wedding and you look AMAZING wearing it. You're in a Great Place in life now, and deserving of every moment you experience, forward. CONGRADULATIONS ! 🙏🙏❤❤
Honestly all the dresses look good! But I really like the Great Gatsby dress. So pretty and very unique! So happy for the home you have in your neighborhood. ❤
I think you look beautiful in all of the dresses you modeled. I particularly liked the halter style dress on you for an August wedding. If you keep dressing and looking as good as you do you won't be single for long.😊
You'll be the show stopper in any of these dresses ... it's your Smile, your zesty-ness that enhances any dress you wear ... you are Dazzling !!! love from here xoxoxo
Wow so far The Great Gatsby Chiffon Dress, Blue and White! Really looked amazing on you, so feminine! beautiful for a Wedding , along with many others!. Susan looking forward to seeing the other’s next week, Love to you and Desi !
All of the dresses are beautiful. I particularly like Christian Sirino's dresses. They are floral and happy. I feel the black one is too dark for a wedding You looked gorgeous in all of them.😍
I liked all the dresses but for an August wedding i like the white floral one the best. I LOVE seeing how happy Desi looks in his new home. He is a very sweet little guy. 💕
The Christian Siriano Tierd Maxi Dress is the most summery to me but I also like the Great Gatsby Chiffon dress on you. The others are lovely but these two stood out for me, especially for a wedding. That was part of this video - the beginning though was full of honesty, heartbreak, struggles and then turning that corner to find the joy in every day life! Those who are able to be grateful for the smallest of blessings gain the most in their lives (IMHO). Thank you for sharing - hugs.
Susan, I love all of the dresses but the one that I think is 'wedding worthy' is the white and blue chiffon caftan and blue purse, unless it is a very casual wedding. You are beautiful, no matter what dress you choose.
I have one good neighbor, they remember I am single and include me in their family. I live in a hostile neighborhood. Best wishes for your new life. Living for the moment and being grateful are the best encouragement for me today.
It’s so wonderful to see Desi play with his fence friend and how happy you both are in your new home. Can’t wait to see which dress you choose for the wedding…they are all beautiful on you! Xoxo ❤
Hi Susan. The yard is coming along nicely. It's a journey, and you look like you are thriving. No more neighbor man that hates you and looking to buy him crazy things. That was always a silly moment for sure. I know there are more dresses to be delivered, but I really gravitated toward the Great Gatsby dress. It is flowy, a little shapeless, but UT really is gorgeous. So light and feminine, perfect for a hot summer wedding. The 2 Christian dresses, Florida, yes. Ultra cool looking, effortless, they flatter you so well. You take care. I'm getting over an ugly sinus infection. I'm glad you posted about your new neighborhood. Simply idealistic. Good job. Next time, takes us downtown for coffee.
You look gorgeous in each and every dress! I hope you keep them all and wear them everywhere you go. Even the grocery store. The world needs your joy and feminine beauty so enjoy what you enjoy!❤
Hi Susan! All the dresses look gorgeous on you!! I think my favorite is The Great Gasby dress! I love how you styled it with the blue handbag! That dress would be so beautiful to wear to a summer wedding! You and Desi have a great week!!
How strange. My Brooklyn committed suicide & I bought a lake house 🏡 🦝 in California
I am so sorry you lost your husband. You sound like you have found happiness in your life and home! You inspire me!
@@marcellixxxthere is something very healing and magical about living on the water.
As a man whose wife of 35 years abandoned him I can completely relate. I am on the same path. Thank you for the words of hope.
Iman Maxi Dress sans jacket for sure.
I’m so sorry…

😢omg hunni. That's SO SAD. I CANNOT IMAGINE that kind of grief. I pray for you to find some healing...🙏
Though the first half of the content made me cry, I love how you inspire me with hope.
Love,
Minnie 🌿
Hi Little Poet, thank you for your inspirational videos. I am 61 and had to leave my 'situation' or I would no longer be on this Earth.
You are an inspiration and I love watching you and Dezzy, on how you overcome this sad and confusing situation of finding ourselves very much alone.😞
The picture of the house towards the end of your video reminds me of the house they filmed "Sophie's choice"
I am probably mistaken, but it was like flash-back from that beautiful yet tragic film.
Wow that gives me hope.
Where are these older men going? It's like they're guaranteeing being alone 😔
I grew up on a street like that. Everyone knew everyone and helped each other. I miss that.
I live on the Mornington Peninsula too .such a beautiful place!
Amen 🙏🏻

God bless you
I love how happy Desi is and he has a next door buddy, so proud of you for persevering and making this happen.
Desi's happiness makes me deliriously happy!!!!!
Love that little Snaggle tooth guy💝
As a muslim, I felt your statement of being grateful instead of manifesting anything was very profound and helpful in my own life. Thank you
I am not Muslim; and I agree with what you have said.
So enjoyed your video tonight. I am so voting for the gray maxi with belt and jacket. It very pretty on you.
Hi from Annie all dresses look nice the third one grey outfit is nice looks in the middle range not too showy and it seems like a nice area so friendly close to shops and others garden looks nice with bird bath and plants A few statues around garden like Angeles n Buddha etc look relaxing etc,
Everything , everything changes. Trust me if you allow it things will get better. 🙏 🙏
U got this !

Congratulations! That’s a big deal!
It is wonderful to know you and Desi are so happy in your new community. The joy on your face and gratitude in your heart is so apparent. Enjoy!
So happy for you and Desi!
Yes to play these videos over is a good place to re visit.
I like the grey and white dress because it is subdued. A wedding is about the bride and groom, not about the guests. Meaning that a guest should not outshine the bride.
I love your little town - it sounds very precious.
My husband is moving out next week. I am going to be a single mom of two. Here's to new beginnings and healing 💕

I love The Great Gatsby so far. I love that you are making friends with your neighbors and aren't isolated in the new town. I've lived on my street for over 20 years and only know one of my neighbors. It's mostly rentals and people move in and out so fast, no one bothers to even learn their names.
I am sooooo happy for you and Desi, you both desirve your own home (House) with its own yard. Hugs. Hilda
The blue floral dress and the last one, the white floral would both be great and you look so happy in both of them.
Lovely!

Out of the dresses you showed us … the gatsby dress is very pretty for an August wedding … light and airy for a hot august day … ❣️
The Great Gatsby dress is stunning, and the one following it with the hat.
That's exactly how manifesting works! Gratitude and appreciation align you with more things to appreciate.
Honestly all the dresses look good! But I really like the Great Gatsby dress. So pretty and very unique! So happy for the home you have in your neighborhood. ❤
I think you look beautiful in all of the dresses you modeled. I particularly liked the halter style dress on you for an August wedding. If you keep dressing and looking as good as you do you won't be single for long.😊
I loved the halter dress on you with your hair up. It was so youthful!
You'll be the show stopper in any of these dresses ... it's your Smile, your zesty-ness that enhances any dress you wear ... you are Dazzling !!! love from here xoxoxo
You are so so kind..thank you so much!
'Great Gatsby' chiffon is hands down the best in my opinion. Different, classy, summery, flattering, and wedding attire appropriate.
Susan, I love all of the dresses but the one that I think is 'wedding worthy' is the white and blue chiffon caftan and blue purse, unless it is a very casual wedding. You are beautiful, no matter what dress you choose.
Desi looks so happy. ❤
Xoxo ❤
The problem with you is you look great in everything. You are so beautiful with beautiful taste. You could wear any of these and look just right.
It’s going well. Good for you. Desi looks happy too ❤
