Years ago, I watched a religious based video on these supposed "GIANTS" that are spoken of in biblical pre flood times, and it made a lot of sense. It was stated that these giants mentioned were not literally "Giants" as in really big, tall beings but they were considered Giants as in they were important, powerful people/beings that were intelligent, held authority, were rulers and leaders. They were Giants (held status and authority) among average common men. That is what they meant by "Giants." And the evidence they used made sense. The word giant and how we use it in modern English isn't how they used it back then. Giant does mean giant but was used to describe the status of a man/being. And as for David and Goliath. David was probably just a really small and short man like we see today and Goliath was probably just a rather big man like we see today.
