A Big Thanks For Sharing Your Families Passion for Racing with us. I've never seen these classic cars run so fast with such elegance, truly a joy on my behalf watching the shows!
It's amazing that those wore out skinny tires work for your Dad's Vette. Nice wheely. I had some treadless 37in Super Swamper's on my 79 Ford 4WD. In granny, on a hot day that 7,000 lb. rig would yank a 6 incher. Pinion finally broke after yrs of abuse lol.
Perfect horsepower making weather! We went to the track this past weekend and all made our best runs of the season. Hoping the weather can hold up for one more weekend here in Wisconsin, and Greatlakes Dragaway in Union Grove has said that they will remain open as long as they can this year, so hopefully old Mother Nature can bless us with 6 more days of racing!!!
Had a real crap day driving through snow storms all day. Just watched the black car do a wheelie and all the crap jut melted away. Thanks that was awesome to watch. Mabey cool for you guys to see also especially after breaking so many things. But good luck and all the best in the future races.
Have to love weekends everything goes to crap... still running hard tho.. I have a question, who's brown 70 buick is that running dad? I have same car same color, they never came in that color ive seen it before. It looked quick. Thx Dan..
Man, I love the new shirt design! That designer does great work. He did Devin's HCR shirt also. Going to order one! Looking forward to your shop videos!
Good looking shirts. So many channels seem to just poop out some crappy design but it's obvious you put some real thought into these. 13:15 A while back I asked if the trim rings had screws added to them and you said no. I guess that proves it.
I’ve honestly tried to get something like this for almost 2 years. I’m super excited about the shirts. And yeah it usually never shoots the trim rings off. But it shook the tires really bad before it broke the axle.
@@HorsepowerDepot I already ordered one for my dad for Xmas. He's owned his 69 L71 since new and whenever I see 69 shirts I tend to grab them. Even if I wasn't biased that way I'd still say it's a good looking shirt.
I got a late start. Should have started TH-cam back in like 2015. It’s hard to grow now with so much good content on TH-cam. 2022 was a pretty good year for our TH-cam channel! I’m excited to see what the future holds.
Yeah it’s got an uncontrollable lean condition at high rpm. That’s why I didn’t run it anymore after my second pass. Thought I had it fixed but I didn’t.
@@HorsepowerDepot"breaking up" is usually a misfire. Any and all misfires will show up on a O2 sensor as a "lean" condition. You'll see the same thing on a 2 step, launch control, anti-lag and some versions of traction control. Don't know if that's what you're seeing, but thought it might help to point it out or remind you if you already knew that.
@@HorsepowerDepot I wonder if it's caused by the air flow at high speeds. I'll give you an example: I used to have a 76 Trans am. This is back in the '80s, it had a warmed over 400, probably a little over 400 horsepower. At some point I put a velocity stack on it in place of the hood shaker. Just trying it out. I decided to open it up one time for a top speed run, since it still had stock 2.41 gears in it. It would not go faster than about 130 because it started misfiring and you could literally see the fuel getting sucked up out of the velocity stack because of the way the air flow did at that speed. It was fine up until that point, but once I got to a certain speed the air flow I apparently swirled around it and actually pulled the fuel up out of the carburetor. I put the hood shaker back on and it would run as fast as you had the balls to hold the throttle for. At the speed you are running, I wonder if you have something similar going on with the stock filter setup? Maybe you should rig up some kind of ram air temporarily and run it and see if the problem goes away. That would at least tell you that's what it is.
No. Kind of a story to the car. Was my great uncles car he’s had since 73. He passed away my uncle got it. It had ss emblems on it but an originally a 307. The yenko stripes were put on earlier this year to hide the ugly bodywork that my great uncle did to it in the mid 70s.

Pulling wheelies, how freaking cool is that! That is one bad assed vette.
Thanks again for the Videos. All that power going to be some carnage! That is drag racing
That shot of your dads ‘Vette spitting off both trim rings looked hilarious. Almost like the rear end was saying “Oh hell no!
BTW, pulling the front tires with a stock bias ply street tire is just amazing! Congrats on the suspension work.
Never a bad day when you learn something. Corvette suspension... what can I say. 🎯Awesome!
Next season will be here soon.
I’ve only begged to work on the suspension with his car for years! He finally let me mess with it!
Rough. Day. At. The track. The. Black vett. With. The front. Wheels. Off the ground. Bad ass. Love. What. U guys. Do. Keep grinden

Nothing like some cool fall air to tickle the balls of a BB Chevy lol 👌🤘
Congrats on the suspension upgrades,...nice wheels up! Looking foward to my shirt!

The fact that mom races a Corvette too, is amazing 👏🏾😂

Great series of vids!
I really enjoy your content!
Thanks for watching!
Love to see your great looking cars run so fast!
….I specially love that Zl-1 tribute cause I have one myself, it on the track though, 🤪🏁🙏🏻

I Do see the black vette cracking a sub 1.30 60ft and you know what that means for the 1/4 mi ET. God bless y’all
Looks like you got it working good lol
Best vids out there, love watching all these cars haul ass !!! Great job guys!
Thanks!
Love your content, keep it coming and be safe'
Cars like that cool weather.
Once you get the Nova figured out it's going to be fast.
It should run good! When we built the car he said he wanted to run 11.50s! Hahah!
Jordon Who built the Turbo 400 in the Black vette? Hard shifts it barks the tires even at the 2-3 gear change..Does the vette have a 4.10 gear?
Hi from Puerto Rico. Time to stop rest . Start to work hard and fix de toys. I love chevy toys.
where you get those shirts from is over by me long island new York
Great content 💪👏🇨🇦👍
Well after all the breakages I have to help out and buy a few HPDepot items.
Seems like your channel should have waaaay people more watching. I predict it will eventually take off like your dad’s Vette.
If they get the Corvette into the 8s that should bring a lot of attention to them from several automotive sites.

Every time you post a new video it’s like opening a Christmas present. Just can’t wait to see the classic Chevy power and beauty.
what year is the black L88?
Shirt looks great and I'll be ordering
Thank you!
Not running 6 Link on the Vette's? I was led to believe it was a mandatory safety rule as they have half shaft saftey hoops built in.
It needs them. We tried to put drag vettes half shaft loop kit on and they wouldn’t fit. That’s going to change this winter.
Did I hear the Camaro breaking up at the top end?
Yeah it’s got an uncontrollable lean condition at high rpm. That’s why I didn’t run it anymore after my second pass. Thought I had it fixed but I didn’t.

i am wondering the Weight of that black Corvette
my guess is 3500 with driver. maybe less with trim rings and axel bolts left on track
1# 👍
Too bad a lot broke , next season will be hear before you know it.
GREAT CARS and INFO ! \,,,/ \,,,/
You guys must be rich and just love playing with this shit....lol
Sad. Go back to school
They never really made "a Yenko Nova with a 307".........did they? I'm assuming the "307" badges on each fender are only a gag, right???
