I might be out of date but I thought they use twin wheels as a tuning aid aswell as stopping the front getting to high, I mean they can use different wheel heights to help offset the torque twist that the engine and trans apply to the chassis
Hundred's of thousands of $'s in tools, machines, shiny hot rods and the professional builders/owners/drivers in that shop - yet not one pair of safety glasses anywhere near the hydraulic press, chop saw, die grinder cut off wheel/3m pad..? I don't care how fast you think your reaction time is when something comes flying at you - it's never fast enough guys..please learn from the dumb-shits like me that had to lose one eye before realizing just how precious your eyesight truly is...

Steve’s car is not in the GTR’s league (3.80’s) and it would be a tall order for Tom.

They don’t have any rear suspension so one center bar works fine for them.

easier/more tunable
Single bar wheelie bars are used on TF cars as they don’t have any rear suspension. Single bar won’t work on cars with rear suspension,
