9PM at night half the condos in BGC Manila are not lite up so assume they are vacant. Developers and sellers are playing the long game believing prices will continue to rise. With the recession scares in Japan and US 2 weeks ago, this plan may back fire. Luckily rents are still cheap with an over supply of rentals on the market.
hi Mike,,got a question,,,im arriveing in philippines november 8,,does my thru ticket have to be same day,,or within the 30 days from arrival ? thx ,,love your videos,
Onward ticket just has to be within 30 days of arrival. I'm moving to bacong in Feb and still can't understand why a tourist visa is for 59 days but onward must be within 30 days. But rules are rules
I think it’s just a sign of a new times, that condos will get smaller and smaller and pricier. I don’t know if that’s going to change anytime soon. In Lapu-lapu I had a showing for brand new construction condo and it was $6.6 million for a tiny studio one bedroom with not even a full kitchen with a countertop hot plate. I'm curious about the "good old days." When Margaritaville, Cleopatra's, and Route 66 were the big hang-outs. Swagman's Hotel (located a couple of blocks before the entrance of walking street) was the best place to stay in those days. It was a gravel and dirty road back then. LOL

I avoid walking street mostly, there are a few expat local bars nearby.
