I spent my career as a nurse. You would think that my best memories are of the lives I have helped save. No. My fondest memories are of those who were actively dying, that I could provide comfort to. Liver disease is a horrible silent killer. Millions of folks have no idea the risk they have of liver disease. It starts with NAFLD-non alcoholic fatty liver disease. When out in public, the folks you see with large bellies (kmown as beer guts for men) and extra fat around the waste also have a fatty liver. The symptoms of liver disease can be nonexistent until the latter of the 4 stages.

Thank you Paul for this powerful video!! Blessings to you and Baby Mae for being there for them and being a shoulder to lean on!! 🙏
This is the most difficult video to come up with a comment. But after watching the last video on Juells I remember the closing scene from the movie Pride of the Yankees. Where Lou Gehrig says he been given a bad break but he feels that he is the luckiest man in the world. One should contemplate what this means in Juells’ situation. I think it applies here.
I also went through this with my wife, who passed away in 2013. I was lucky that my two kids were by my side to help. God bless you and your family 🙏🙏😢. Paul this must of been very hard for you too My prayers go out to you all
I just went through this TWICE with my partner who died of cancer and I Solely took care of her for a year, and my mother who passed earlier this year. I was their sole caregiver for 10 years. What I experienced afterwards in the US was shocking. No one called or came by. Not even family. I had to build myself from the bottom. I realized the gift of life that I have and my clock is ticking. So I retired and took 3 extended trips to SE Asia to redefine my life. My experiences in the US around death was so bad I decided not to die there. If I wasn’t there for my partner and mother no one would visit. I want to die in SE Asia. Be very gentle, tender, kind to yourselves. I attended grieving groups. That helped tremendously. Talk to people who are available. Most people had no idea what I went through. Life is a precious gift. Carry on your father and husbands love for life. His life will continue to live through you. That’s what I chose to do
My Filipina wife here in Cavite has been caring for her bedridden mom for 10+ years and supporting her dad. This while working a full time demanding marketing job with lots of travel. She moved her dad up to our area from Bicol in January. He passed away less than a week ago. I married a real angel whom I'm not worthy of but strive to be everyday. It's my privilege to make her and her family's life better. Life is short... I just got back from Texas after a rushed medical trip last November so I know to make the most of every day.

The doctors didn’t want to release him from the hospital so my cousin took time out of his practice in Pasadena, CA to come to Canada and sign my father out of the hospital. It is definitely painful to watch this video but glad to hear the update. I am on the same boat taking care of my dying husband , he is not hospice yet , he is palliative care and had 3 cycles of chemo. We are aware his time is short and taking it one day at a time. I lost my Brother from liver cancer back in January 2010. I was blessed to have been with him from hospital to hospice and on to his final breath. I remember the process the changes in his physical body and eventually after the cancer took his mind. I pray for his soul and family. God bless them and I pray that you remember how he lived and not how he left you. God bless you all 🙏🏾🙌🏾♥️💪🏾🙏🏾
I've had several loved ones pass from cancer and the only good thing about it was that it gave you time to prepare for their passing and come to terms with it, before they left. Seeing them shrivel up from what they had been, is still very hard, but it's not like you didn't know it was coming, like if they had just been hit by a bus out of the blue. I see you passing the TP on the vid, and cracked a grin through my blurry eyes, as I remember talking to my brother/best friend on the phone for the first time after his diagnosis. We were each in our individual basements, TP in hand, coming to terms with his situation. We both had a chuckle through the blubbing, that we were handling things in the exact same manner... God bless this man and his family and may they continue to flourish in the future.
Thanks Paul for your caring and update on Juelles , Juelles is a great human being, it just shows us how vulnerable we really are ! ❤ Thanks so much for this God Bless the family
Thank you for sharing and letting us be a part of this difficult inevitably. We are here for you in this trying time. You give us all hope that we all can be cared for and cared about as much you all care about Juells.

God bless this family and of course the man going through this. He is blessed that his family is there and helping him through everything. When my wife was dying of cancer. My kids and her family were not there to help me. I know what this means and I felt the pain all over again watching this video. I go to church every Sunday here in the Philippines. And you can count on me adding you to my prayers. I am alone now and always will be. But that doesn't mean it's all about me. God bless you on your journey. It is unique and I will never understand your pain just as others won't understand mine. But ... I wish you all blessings. Truly. Take care. Peace.

No word to describe how much I or we subscribers appreciate Jules happy days to remember, memories that we have this lifetime & next. Thank you & God bless your family & Jules ♥️ 🙏🏼
I am one of those lurkers on your channel and Juells'. I of course have enjoyed both. Juell reminds me of friends of mine and I was just devastated to hear of his liver cancer and liver failure. I know more about his disease process than I would care to; I speculate that his bizzare Guillame-Barret syndrome (GBS) was a pareneoplastic syndrome caused as his body ramped up his immune system to try to fight the cancer. (there are case reports in the literature). It is generally a bad sign however. I am hopeful his passing will be as peaceful as possible. I will contribute to the family directly.
I told him to let me put him in touch with my doctor, that trains other doctors on all mineral and alkaline diet. Has treated numerous celebrities, athletes as well as everyday people. Nothing more for me to do but pray for him and his family.
I have never met Juells, yet feel that I still know him through his personal channel and also through his son Elvis, a wonderful guy, when I visited Dumaguete for six weeks last Sept-Oct. I'm sitting here crying too, as I watch your wonderful wife and daughter as part of the fabulous family that your husband and dad had raised. My heart goes out to everyone and especially Juells, that amazing spirited man who is an inspiration to all. Bless your hearts.
I've been binge watching Weird History on TH-cam and Dazed and confused came on. The guy said, all right, all right, all right and I thought, hey! It's Juells! This is just way too sad. I've been in Bohol for 16 years and have been to many funerals but bless you all!
I'm an American registered nurse. Going to the US for end of life care would not have done you too many favors assuming you have the necessary comfort meds on hand. I've seen a lot of conclusions of life...this is as good as it can get. Stay the course and keep him comfortable. Great man, built a wonderful family with his wife and attracted incredible friends like Paul. Peace to all you guys.
Dear Paul. I knew Juells from you, as I seldom watch expats channels. That time when his house was still under construction and you both were full of laughter. I admired his outlook in life and love for his family and subscribed to help him. The next video I watched when he was hospitalized from paralyzed leg, the third when he’s got the liver CA. With his warmth personality this video touched a lot of us . Thanks in guiding us how to get in touch with his family. I pray for him. Thank you for such a kind person. May God Bless you all. 🙏🏻
Thank you so much Paul for the update ❤ Me and my husband has been following you guys and Juelles story and feeling so sad about the whole thing😢Actually my husband is in the same situation battling cancer Leukemia diagnosed in January 😢. He has been watching you tube videos of you guys in Dumageute and very fond of Juelles. Praying for everyone and really grateful for you Paul. God bless❤ I am a filipina living here in the US since 2005. Husband is from NH.
Sending Prayers love to Juells and his beautiful family from Tasmania, God Bless you, thankyou Paul for being there to support Juells and his family.❤️🙏
There is no comparison between dying at home in the Philippines and dying in hospice that take’s Medicaid (insurance for the poor) in the US. Things worked out for the best with the passport situation.
I believe so. It was already too late. He would want to be with his wife and all his kids and in the home he built for them. I saw him deteriorate so fast in the last two to three weeks I was so worried for him. But he was reading his Bible and making his peace with the Lord. He will forever reside in the hearts of his family now. And his friends. He raised such a beautiful family. Such good people. That is the best legacy he could leave behind.
My brother just passed away because of cancer. I was in denial up until he died. I wasted time that I, while my other brothers and sisters kissed him and hugged him I just said y’all tripping ain’t nothing wrong with Man, my brothers name was Man (nickname) every time we went to visit him they all acted like the world was coming to an end and me I was just waiting for him to get better and get out of the hospital. I was in total denial, to make it worse I work in healthcare and I knew what comfort care meant and still blocked it. So I missed out on giving him hugs and kisses before he left.
. Great to see how Juells brought his energy to create a great family- What a great testament to how one man made this a better world....God Bless you and your family!
Paul this story is heartbreaking!!! I could hardly watch it and watching the daughter makes me cry. Thank You for all you are doing for this family and my thoughts and prayers go out to Jules and his family.

Juells is definitely a rock star! Amazing attitude in all his videos! Amazing dad prayers for Juells and his family! Princess has his beautiful smile that will live on !
GOD be with each and every one of you.
"alright alright alright" how i'd like to see him be able to say that again. The first time I watched one of his videos I thought man, this guy's a little off, but then I realized it wasn't him it was me that was off in my first opinion of him. He's just a really good dude and I wish I could be more like him.
We are praying for Juelles.
Such sad news, and wishing the family the strength that they will need
So heartbreaking. God Bless Juells and his family. 😢😢🙏🙏
My Filipina wife died late last year of breast cancer. I know what your going through. It is a hard time. All my love and hugs to Jules wife and daughter.
Thank you for the update. Prayers and best wishes to the family.
so sad to hear it has come to this point. our prayers are with him and his family. :(
Sendung prayers for Juells and the family❤❤
Thanks Paul for your caring and update on Juelles , Juelles is a great human being, it just shows us how vulnerable we really are ! ❤ Thanks so much for this
God Bless the family
Thank you for sharing and letting us be a part of this difficult inevitably. We are here for you in this trying time. You give us all hope that we all can be cared for and cared about as much you all care about Juells.
I lost my first Thai wife in Thailand to liver cancer 9 years ago.
I understand your pain.
My thoughts and heart are with you all.
There is no easy way.
Love to you all from the heart.
Praying for juelle and his family 🙏🙏
Paul your a angel you go out of your way to meet and help people in there time of need the world needs more men like you your videos have helped so many people god is looking down on you Juells amen🇦🇺🇵🇭
Truly. Take care. Peace.
That's crazy that your wife's family and her own kids weren't there to help you. That's terrible.
@@jasoncatron1039 Well... they were dealing with pain in their own way. It is only a wish I had at the time as I knew that me alone was not close to being enough. I don't hold that against them in any way. That was 8 years ago but this video... makes it feel like yesterday. Take care
My heart aches for the family 💔 God, please give this family peace and comfort in this time. We are all here for this man and his family
I'm so sorry 😢god bless family and friends. My hart go's out to all of you.
Paul thank you for sharing this. For Richie, Princess and siblings you are facing this far more bravely than you realize and more anyone I can think of. My thoughts are going out to Jules and family and their tragedy is held deeply in my thoughts. 💗
“Right On, Right On, Right On”
Gonna miss Jules. I just loved his style. What a great human being.
I feel for his family. It’s gotta be the worst feeling in the world for a child to lose their parent. 🙏
Paul, You will be known an remembered for all of the good an positive things you have contributied to all of us, an the common sense is just hard to beat. I saw a grown man cry. A REAL man is not only tough, but he also has a heart.
god bless your family Jewels and family. Prayer for your family
Thank you Mr. Paul for the update and your compassionate heart. Thank you for your courage to face such an emotional interview and helping this family to ask for what they need..encouragement,prayer, and peace.
What we have once enjoyed we can never lose... memories are forever.....bless you all
No word to describe how much I or we subscribers appreciate Jules happy days to remember, memories that we have this lifetime & next. Thank you & God bless your family & Jules ♥️ 🙏🏼
A sad story, but thank you for letting us know
Damn Paul. Now I’m crying. I was really looking forward to meeting him. What a cool guy. I’ll be praying for him and his family
I will watch their videos ❤ no skip ads! That is the least we can do for this family!
I'm so sorry to hear about this. My prayers go out to him and his family. Thanks for sharing. 😔🙏
God or any beliefs you have be with you
Peace & Love to the family
My father in law died of cancer . From Singapore.
Remember it is never "goodbye," but "see you soon" 🙏🙏🙏
🙏
Thats right! The best is to come.
That is how I feel too. We are all just passing through
Life is simply a journey
I told him to let me put him in touch with my doctor, that trains other doctors on all mineral and alkaline diet. Has treated numerous celebrities, athletes as well as everyday people. Nothing more for me to do but pray for him and his family.
Heart breaking to watch, love from the UK to all of you there.
The Lord is with you all in this situation and always 🙏
I have never met Juells, yet feel that I still know him through his personal channel and also through his son Elvis, a wonderful guy, when I visited Dumaguete for six weeks last Sept-Oct. I'm sitting here crying too, as I watch your wonderful wife and daughter as part of the fabulous family that your husband and dad had raised. My heart goes out to everyone and especially Juells, that amazing spirited man who is an inspiration to all. Bless your hearts.
Remember to celebrate his life. Thank God for the time we have with loved ones.
Prayers and Christian love for the family. God bless.
Very sad Paul..........i don't know what else to say other than cantained within this tragic story is information and that's what you do....
Paul thank you so much for being there for family ❤❤.
God bless
Very Good Video. Thanks. Have only followed Juelles for around a year, but always enjoyed his charming, fun and outgoing personality..
I did this with my Dad if anything believed he would outlive me...tgus Video sure brings up alot of Emotions..
Sadly I have not said good bye to all my deadly departed and less sadly, unlike Jules, there will be no one to say good bye to me.
That is not uncommon to be in denial..to carry a false type of hope. It happens.
I hope someone helps you out the same, in kind.
He's still with you brother, sending you hugs to get through this difficult time 🫂
I cried along with you all here. I am sad also. Thank you and Juells wife and family letting us know where he is at. Blessings to all.
My condolences. Prayers to his beautiful family!
Prayers 😢❤
. Great to see how Juells brought his energy to create a great family- What a great testament to how one man made this a better world....God Bless you and your family!
The worst case scenario is if an expat would pass away alone without loved ones present, in any country, and even in your own country.
Paul this story is heartbreaking!!! I could hardly watch it and watching the daughter makes me cry. Thank You for all you are doing for this family and my thoughts and prayers go out to Jules and his family.
When i hear that he was thrashing about, i cant help but believe that in the United States that would have had him in an induced coma to control the pain and discomfort.
That's what I was thinking
