25:30 i just realized that the "protection bubble" it's just a bendalloy bubble. The Stormlight Archive occurs like 330 years after hero of ages, so Hoid is already a mistborn.
I didn't time my rereads well, and I am just now finishing Oathbringer! Oops! Lol. Good thing I reread them all earlier this year, so thos recap is just deep enough to bring it all back to the front of mind. Thanks!
Thanks so much! In true ADHD fashion, I barely finished this video less than a minute before the audible release of Wind and Truth. 😆 You're a lifesaver!
Last year I Reread all the mistborn books and this year I read all of stormlight elantris and warbreakee and in a week I will be flying to UTAH when stormlight 5 drops!!!! What a time to be alive
Um I'm 30% through my reread of Rhythm of War thank you very much and I will be done by the time the next book comes out. I resent your implication sir!
The broken line from Nale. I theorize this is Ishar who "Took the other's madness upon himself". Which would mean Jez's is gone Spoiler from WaT preview chapters . . . . . . . . This matches what happened to Dalinar's and Navani's Bondsmith connections when they were shunted into the Spiritual Realm, them disappearing or breaking.
Anti-Voidlight gem not running out. Suggesting another explanation besides gem quality/cut. The Lights are just the gaseous form of the Shard's being. It can be contained in the gem, but the diffusion of the Shard's essence on Roshar causes them to "leak" back into the Shard's Power, kind of like osmosis. Anti-light doesn't belong to any Shard, so no leaking occurs.
How do you respond to the allegations that Daniel Greene made this same video but three times as long and released it 4 days ago? ...Is there an allegation there? Yes, when I watch them both after I finish Oathbringer this weekend, how will I justify that amount of screen time to my fiancee?
Daniel Greene is terrible at recaps (and anything where attention to detail is actually important). He just gets stuff wrong left and right. His claim to fame used to be that he was a huge WoT nerd, but he was routinely getting basic (very basic, not esoteric or obscure at all) facts and concepts completely wrong. RAFO FTW. He puts out quality content that's related to the actual works and isn't chasing the views by stirring up the drama.
@CHUCKLZLORD Then you don't follow his content as closely as you claim you do. I have been watching him since before his channel exploded and he started chasing clicks, which is when he started attacking people like Terry Goodkind and Patrick Rothfus. Then there is his almost weekly attacks on Amazon or any publisher that has the audacity to take on a project that he thinks is done and should never be touched again. He has an entire video series where he hate reads a book he knows he will hate and roasts it in detail throughout the read. The dude stirs the crud for clicks, and he stokes the fandom toxicity. It's too bad, because he used to be good. Now he has an influential voice and chooses to use it to stir drama instead of building up the fandom.

Yup. Good catch.
0:02 YOU UNDERESTIMATE MY POWER!
No seriously.
Let’s activate our time bubbles!
@@tmrogers87 I dont even need that... I read RoW first in around 5 days.
Some people are just too powerful.
I love when Kaladin fights in the manor. Lezian is so confident kaladin is just a magic farmer and gets rocked.
Oh it's very satisfying.
"At this point, you definetely don't have time for a re-read", Wanna bet? 😂😂
Greetings from Brazil, and thanks for all your work, you're awesome!
Obrigado!
Thanks dude just remember it was out downloading the audio book now, gotta get this recap in
Happy it helped!
Thanks for doing this Steve! Gonna help a lot of readers!
That was my goal!
I didn't time my rereads well, and I am just now finishing Oathbringer! Oops! Lol. Good thing I reread them all earlier this year, so thos recap is just deep enough to bring it all back to the front of mind. Thanks!
That's why I made it!

Glad it was helpful!
This was extremely helpful!!! Thank you so much 👍😊❤
You're welcome!

Glad I could be of service!
Been looking for this for years. Finally find it after I finish my reread
My timing is impeccable.

Well done!

The speed of Sanderson readers is faster than the general population.
Unpopular opinions: ROW is my favorite stormlight book and WOA is my favorite mistborn book
Wow, unpopular opinions indeed!
Best recaps in the biz
Thank you!

Ooh I like that very much!
Am I actually that guy?
We're all that guy now and again.

We don't need to tear others down to build up those we like. You can just not like Daniel, and that's fine. I like both his channel and RAFO.
@@CHUCKLZLORD I would agree with you, but Daniel spends a lot of time attacking authors, publishers, and organizations, so he earns this.
I have no idea what you're talking about. I watch all of Daniel's content, and this couldn't be further from his approach.

Can I get a Dr. Steve note so I can get WaT release day off of work?
"Sorry boss, I've got Sandersitis."
I have nodes
I have no nodes and I must beam.
