  • This is a simple modification that will clean up your engine bay without having to do a wire tuck. But it's also a great addition to a wire tuck as well.

    I went to West marine and bought a fused distribution block, and a bracket with two relays, both key on powered to run accessories, works perfect, probably could have saved a buck ordering it, but when motivation hits, some times you gotta spend a few extra dollars.

    As someone who has dealt with 12v wiring for a decade as my career, this is honestly not bad at all. Definitely better than any Jeep owner I’ve seen.
    You addressed two key things which is it’s not ideal for wet conditions, and that it’s just one of 1000’s of products available to conquer this task. Keep up the good work and I’m sure it will look the way you want soon!

    Very nice! I have some of my power wires on a second stud wired to the solenoid. I don't really like it though. A couple years ago, I bought all these distribution blocks, bus bars, relay blocks and a maxi fuse block to eliminate my solenoid (I have the mini starter anyway) and fusible links. Wish me luck! haha

    Hey Brew2l. I noticed you have ridden without spring isolators. I have the top one on the front but none on the bottom. I have both in the rear. I just can't get these springs in with both isolators no matter how hard I try. I'm even using the maximum motorsports spring installation tool and I still can't get it close enough with the lower isolator on. Will it ride really harsh because of that?

    Look I agree with this but there is an issue I watched a vid of a computer/wire guru and he said that Ford's are pretty much finnicky about lengthening and shortening wires.... Like for instance it was as simple as the O2 sensor wire being too long.... U get a lot of B's on sometimes but he said something that simple made that ECM/PCM fail and showed me data.... Find it far fetched but I do believe that it's possible.... So does this hold weight or B's

    You can pretty easily tuck the giant alternator fuse wiring in thru the fender/ front bumper, the solenoid into the fender (a bit harder with stock harness at least) the hood latch line, I have the wires to the coil coming out one of the holes in the strut tower going straight to the coil. I did that all by only lengthening 1 wire for the wiper fluid reservoir. Would be a good video to see that man

  • @79beans347
    @79beans347 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    That is a good idea to have a constant power source without having 59 wires attached to the battery terminal..........just pray that you don't have a blow out right there🤣 because it may look like a lawnmower got ahold of your wires 😂 but you could put a liner back in to protect it and if you need access you can just take it off and it will be protected from the rain and shredded tire flopping around hitting your wires and cutting them or getting tangled up in them, i know that it is a 1 out of a million chance that would happen but if your luck is like mine it would happen 😂🤣😂👍🏾🚗💨💨💨💨💨💨

    Thats insane!!! You don't see the danger in the placement of the set up??? Bro you gonna have a big upset if u run something over that whips around and catches them wires like anything. Plus u can't drive it through puddles now and the grime they will now collect under there is dumb idea!! You sure picked the #1 worst placement for it. And what about if someone hits you in the side there just say its going to cause a fire and burn your car down! Hope you cary fire extinguisher!!! You gonna need it. If that were to happen you prob get sued for what you did. This type stuff here is what gots the gov trying to ban working on cars yeah the epa people are taking it all away soo. But yeah I would thing of impact and how to route your wires thsts crazy!!

    • @BREW2LFOXBODY
      @BREW2LFOXBODY  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I can see your concerns with that honestly. But this car never goes more than a few miles away from the house. And an in-line fuse coming from the main power wire should pop first if anything goes wrong. Which I will be adding
