This is brilliant. I am still learning to work with my Zhiyun Crane 2 to take good shots during my railfanning. However, haven't been able to try it due to lockdown. But in this time I am learning a lot with TH-cam.. and I must say yours was one of the best I have seen in last week.
Coming from a glidecam we are all use to turning the glidecam unit vs the gimbal motor with a button which makes sense. Nice content. Thanks for the tips.
Thumbs up in the first 3 seconds for coming directly to the point unlike others who waste half of their videos in overacting and out of context gibberish. 🚩🙏🚩
HI. You talk about a microphone or anything on top of your camera limiting the gimbals movement - what about a flip screen that is folded out/opened up? Do you find this can inhibit movement of the gimbal also?
Thank you, just starting out on this photography and or movie journey. So far GS9, 10-25 new sony lens and a gimble due to disability preventing kneeling and bending down to much. Subbed.
Would be awesome if u could respond this. We recently used this exact Crane, Stability works But had throubles with the focus wheel controls.. HERES WAT I DID(but failed) : •It Has the Wheel mode, i set it on. •Connected the micro usb from servo to the gimbal. (servos blinks, no red light, all good) •set the mode to Canon(my cameras canon) But Still cant control the focus with The wheel. Am i missin somethin? Is there another usb cables to connect from the gimbal to the DSLR?or any wireless method? Need ur help bro.
Unfortunately I have no experience with the focus wheel on this gimbal. I have the GH5 which doesn't actually have the capability to communicate with this particular gimbal in terms of focus. Sorry.
Were you using the joystick to pan while in follow mode? Now that they added the roll function, my crane 2 is rolling when using the joystick to pan. Is that happening with you?
Can you please help I balanced my crane 2 but when I film anything it has these walking jitters !! Also my crane does not tilt up or down when not using the joy sticks. Please help thanks
Really??? Doesn’t it take some practice with just walking Beal toe and being smooth with walking also depending on the mode you have it set the crane has different ways of working...? I notice the same with mine, but I am just new with using it.... I’m assuming it takes practice...?
I believe it should have an F on the LCD. I believe it means follow, but yes, it's essentially the lock mode. It'll give you the ability to tilt up and down and pan left and right with the joystick.
Visual Danny My windows leaks a tad bit of natural light. That light spills onto the left side of the frame, but doesn't cover the wall entirely. Then I have a small LED light behind me on the dresser that's hitting the corner, spilling light onto the purple and blue walls. The light from the LED doesn't cover the entire wall either, thus, light, dark, light. 😁
No corny jokes, no long winded introductions, no dumb unboxing footage.... THANK YOU!!! You're great!
For that intro - THANK YOU.
Whenever i use my joystick while moving gimbal pan axis in lock mode. The joystick doesnt work. Is it common?
Nice vídeo!! Its incredible how you go directly tô Content and dont do The same blá-blá-blá everybody does. Congrats
Thanks for that Parallax tip!

Glad I could help!
Best way to start a tutorial video right there
Great tip about using the joystick (rather than relying on moving the gimbal handle by hand) for orbit style shots! This has really helped.thanks
Definitely my favorite tip.
Never comment on vids but I gotta give it up for that intro. Great tips as well
i liked the video for the intro. period. gonna watch the rest now.
Great, thank you! Production value on point. Information on point.

Great tips! Thank you!
Wow...did not know there was an app where you can control the speed of the joystick..THANK YOU!!!

Straight on point. Great video and, by the way, nice walk. LOL!
Will give a shot for the parallax tomorrow :)
Hi, might you have a tutorial on how to calibrate the Crane 2?
Got it! Hands not steady thumb steady ! Because thumb is algorithmitic check! Thanks bro!
Yes
Thank you ...very clear and helpful!

Thanks - great tips! ...especially that last one about orbiting a subject.
Thanks! Glad it was helpful!
Good info. I just got mine and this was very helpful.

Awesome & clear advice Tom- much appreciated- Sending some sub love from Toronto Canada 🇨🇦
Thank you for these, especially the last one man.
No Problem man! Glad you enjoyed!
Always a pleasure to watch your videos ... glad I subscribed. :) Good luck with the channel!
Thanks!
Hi ! The Josysick is so fast on the Gimbal, do you know how to set the speed? or you slown the motion by yourself using your software? Thankyou!
There's an app you can connect the gimbal to to control the speed.
Love you...💖
Yep its Lock mode...thanks
Hey man, your content is great. There's no reason you couldn't boom on here... Keep up the work!
Thanks brother!
To the point. Subbed
thank you for your help!
no problem!

Nice man! I need to use my gimbal more and get better at it. I have found that the Digital IS in the Canon EOS R works beautifully with the Ronin S. 👍
Good to hear!
Is this video on how to hold the Crane 2
Were you using the joystick to pan while in follow mode? Now that they added the roll function, my crane 2 is rolling when using the joystick to pan. Is that happening with you?
In follow mode the joystick is use to change the roll of the gimbal. You can only adjust the pan and tilt with the joystick in Locked mode.
@@WhatAboutTom I see. So in the shot of the wedding at the reception where you tilt down and pan to the left was done all with the joystick?
@@ActiveDad indeed! See how smooth it is? That's why I love using the joystick
@@WhatAboutTom very impressive!
Have You figured out a good way to add a mic to the Crane 2?
maybe get the extension handles
what camera did you use to shoot you in this video?
1 second in
Me: LIKED
thanks bro

You might have a faulty item. Id send it back

Are you in Lock Mode to do the parallax? I tried PF Mode but it only moves up and down.

IN LOCK MODE, when i walk my joystick doesnt work from right to left

Theres like a gradient on thw blue wall, how do you get this effect?

@@WhatAboutTom oh, i thought its crushed blacks
i am at the stept: already bougth a gimbal and stopped working with it because of frustration.

me being hilarious tbh
What do you mean you had to figure that out? lol
