Kubota BX Series Inner Tie Rod Boot Replacement - BX25 / BX22

- This video shows the installation of new inner tie rod boots for a Kubota BX series tractor.
The OEM boots are made from Natural Rubber and their design is prone to failure.
The replacement boot kit utilizes Polyurethane material and a Billow style construction, which makes a far superior boot.

Looks like no link 5 years later. I cut about a 4x5 inch piece of rubber from an old inner tube and wrapped around mine and used zip ties on each end to hold, in a pinch. Several years later, still on there and work fine, don't have to take tires off.
Great “ to the point” instructional video . Good instructor, engaging, and simple. No music, no kids, no dogs! Good job . I’m buying his kit.

Follow up: I did my outer boots today, and noticed the nylon zips I used last year for the inner boots were just a bit loose. A quick pull on the remaining zip and it closed up the space. One other unrelated comment: when you do this job it is a great opportunity to check that the front wheels are parallel. One of mine was visibly out so I just turned the outer tie rod as needed to get them back in alignment. (They were out of alignment from when I bought the tractor with 50 hours on it, but I never looked too closely at that before.) Finally, your outer tie rod boot kit is just as great as the inner one you sold me last year. Thanks!

@@tonyfanelli457 Hi Tony. Not sure if you will get this message or not. I have never used this before. I am needing to replace those boots on my BX25. Kubota only sells the entire unit with the boot for approximately $100. per side. I was on Ebay and am wondering what boot you actually bought for this. There are several to choose from. Hopefully you can help with this. Thanks. Kevin

Any B2601 sized boots available? Have heard it suggested the BX boot fits the B series but don't want to guess.

Nice video-Easy to follow. I have the BX2350. Has anyone figured out how to replace the tie rod end? The tie rod is attached to the smooth steering cylinder, has an almost hidden slot on one side but not the other. Since both threads are right handed one side might be able to be replaced however I have not figured out how to remove the right hand ( sitting in the seat ) end Any help is aooreciated!
He also sells just the inner boots also if you dont need all the boots. Hope this helps

The upgrade ones on eBay other than this guys ones don't seal at either end with a zip tie or ring clip. So foreign particles can get in. Wouldn't risk it

Great instruction and will be sure to reference when I go to do this. The local Kubota dealer here only carries the entire tie rod and not just the boots. I have a B2301. Any idea how I can determine if the same boots are used? If different, do you carry the correct boot for my model? Thanks in advance and again, terrific video.

Why would you want to put the tie rods in front of the axels on a tractor. My neighbor bent his on a stump he didn't know was there. Not cheap to have fixed.
They had to go somewhere, and accessible for repairs. It was just unlucky it got hit.
Well it looks like everybody's been asking the same question for years and he's not talking to anybody I guess this video is useless after all it's a shame
