Lots of comments here are critical, saying that the wmn of Iran are not free but are oppressed whilst these ladies are propaganda sending the opposite message.
I don't doubt that these wmn have the freedom they claim to have, but that doesn't negate the issues of other wmn.
Here is a classic example of 'elite' wmn establishing their status over other wmn by declaring them as choosing to feel oppressed when in fact they are not.
These are effectively two different constituencies. Would you be surprised if the ruling elite of PaxTan made the same claims about freedom (of minority) in PaxTan?
It's a myth to believe that wmn stand up for wmn, have only goodwill & good intentions for other wmn, solidarity with other wmn, etc etc.

Fact of the matter is Iran used to be a democratic, liberal country back in the 70-80s but not anymore when radical religious fanatics took over iran became highly radicalised society.I agree with them about the western interference apart from that i don't agree what they all said bcoz their job is to potray iran well and good and i can understand that and they can't even criticise their government. They seems to be from well to do families and got good education but what about women who are poor👀🤔

It should be realised that homemaker is a full time job for a woman, and a second job in labour market is very taxing for the woman because in the homemaker's job, woman does 90 percent of the work, even if the husband is supportive and 2 jobs will affect children upbringing and will be unproductive in the long run with children growing up without proper care w.r.t. morality and time spent on their growth.

And the man does a 9 to 5 job and relaxes for rest of the time watching sports? Even if he helps in house chores, it's only 10 percent and the primary duty is of the woman

@@seshagirivemuri6503 that's her choice. If she doesn't want to do it then don't. These women are empowered. But they are still not treated as equal although they may believe so.
Few questions they must answer are: if a woman is qualified enough in running a country, can they hold the highest position?
Secondly, can they hold the highest position in religious authority? If they say yes, then why haven't been one in history in the last many centuries.
Remember these women speak on behalf of their government
