Hey tenebris how do you get turrets though?
I’m really disappointed in how weak the fortifications are, just from doing the easiest wave solo my base lost towers and walls, it feels like you’re using a cardboard box for cover, the point of a base and fortifications is that you can stay in them and be protected but I find myself leaving the base every time to fight outside and draw fire away from the base that takes so long to get resources for to repair, would be nice if there was more stuff to build with too. Hopefully it’s just early days and there will be more added

Other tip if you get the machine-gun pilbox put the small log walls around to give it side protection

For anyone that's going nuts how to start base building, it would appear that it could be triggered by a number of quests, depending on when you actually started playing the game and the way it was implemented by the developers..
I recently only just returned from playing briefly a couple of years ago. I did have a save from back then but because I wanted a refresher, I decided to start a new save. The quest I got was "Building Blocks". But apparently prior to this quest it used to be a quest called "Good News", however some reported that base building was bugged in general at the time.
So my suggestion is, if you have an old save and you haven't played for a while I would highly recommend starting over so your game isn't using newly added code to an old save file....HTH

Emergency flares, fire work flares and any flares will give you 2 wood for one you scrape. I had 80 and I got 160 wood with ease

Any body try building in a way that funnels the machines into kill zones? I wish we weren’t so limited to the square motif. I’ve just gotten to this point and am still in the process of experimenting with different ideas. I’ll be incorporating some of your thoughts for sure.
My biggest problem is getting enough cement without attacking and destroying Fnix Bases. Since you can't find it as scrap or anywhere around the map. If only the Devs of Generation Zero would come up with a lot easier way of getting cement by adding it as scrap to the game with their next update. This would be a lot helpful to the game.
yow i place wrong building in my base can i pick it up and move it somewhere or wait untill it get destroyed?
So I think I have this right, playing off the hard wave grants you more crafting components and uranium as well as a chance at receiving a experimental weapon right? As well as any wave difficulty will grant you a experimental ammo type or equipment. With the weapons that can be rewarded is the EXP KVM part of that?
I've gotten the exp 50-cal twice now. I play on adventure PS4 and I've done every defense so far on hard.
Where are the wood spawn in the base cos I know the trees, behind the van and the lookout, where else?
I am new to base building and have been practicing, I have a few questions. Is there a way to select a wall and move it once it is placed ? When I arrived on site there was a FNIX base that I am in the process of dismantling, was this suppose to be here ? Trying to get ready for next week
Hey grandma i thought i saw a comment of yours roll through last night! So to answer that here, sadly you cant move things, but you get the same resourcss back for dismanteling, unless the object was damaged in wave defence then it gives less back.
And that is such a cool glitch! Tried to get one for myself to no avail, i'd say keep it if you like the fnix structures if not tear it down and should be gone after that :D

Okay its 2 years gone. Bases are still so fragille? Is big sense to have base in 2023 (almost 2024)? And is that true better to leave the base and hide in house near by?

How can i make a nice spot for a pet wolf? When i get the game i want to give a wolf a second chance at.... life? Idk but i want a spot for it when i disable it also it will act as a lynx farm.
One of the best spots I've found is northcoast, just outside of hermelinen. Try to rival a wolf too, thats the best method of keeping track of where your new "pet" is at :D

Im on ps anyone can help me i havent played in ages
I wish people making videos would STOP saying anything that helps the players is over powerd than they come in charge it if you don't like something you think is op that helps the players than shut up and don't do it yourself other people might like it that way
i cant find wood anywhere, base defense is basicly unplayable at this point. containers never ever drop wood for me so i have to run through the forest for hours and gather 1 wood at a time... this game is so buggy its unreal. it crashes (and then the error report runs into an error, lmao), spawns infinite amounts of fnix bullet sponges every 500meters so i have to doorcamp for a full hour, is basicly devoid of wood (while needing infinite amounts, because my walls die in two mg-dog salvos ON EASY), lmgs stopped dropping after a few hours and 100 hours later im still using the same lmg, same goes for hunting rifles (except i dont use them anymore), the stealth mechanic is completely broken, pathfinding is completely broken, has basicly no tooltips (the ones that do exist are mostly useless), etc.
if my friends didnt play this garbage, i wouldnt even play it if i was paid to do so...
I get the feeling the game is quietly bleeding to death. All there is left = destroy bases, build bases, attack bases, defend bases. There's no story anymore. It feels like playing a high tech Ages of Empire to me.
Sorry my dude, no personal offense meant, I just can’t watch any video with an over the top fake voice, vocal fry or uptalk. I’m sure your information would be really helpful, based on your channel’s history. I’d just rather figure it out myself or look around for a video where someone speaks in their natural voice. It might not even bother most people, it’s just a deal breaker for some of us.
