For those who want to be sneaky you can use a sledgehammer to knock down walls. It is quiet and saves your explosives ammo.

I just started playing Gen 0 about a week and all I can say is the game really doesn’t hold your hand at all. The enemies are everywhere and you really have to pick and choose when to engage or what to loot. So far Im enjoying it! It rewarding when you do something well. I have not tried the MP side of the game yet but soon.
Exactly the same mate it's a fantastic game but it's hard

Never seen a FINX base spawn in my game. Blew up the main one and that's been all.
Have you found a way to get another one. I blew mine up by accident

As always, thanks for all your work here! Challenge: do you think it is possible to stealthily "one shot" a base by placing explosives, maybe after a few waves of recon/removing turrets, etc?
I tried so hard to make that happen dude! 😭 sadly it only registers the first explosions damage not the whole bunch, it would have been so dope if we could.. 😓 but yes dude!! Hackers rejoice!! And i think this calls for a new build to whip up :D

Looking forward to your hacker build. For you & those in the comments: what has helped me the most is actually the bump for EMP effectiveness + the throwing distance perk. Often I will hack a seeker or doggo to distract the enemies, get into position during the cool down, then move into another spot…rinse, repeat.
Hacking enemies up close isn't hit and miss: they end up hitting you more than they miss!!!!
You can also hack enemies that are attacking you (nice) but my success rate on anything larger than a dog is very mixed.
Ideally, the system would allow us to hack larger enemies with more repeatable success that stay hacked… and *fingers crossed* utilize the target designation function to help direct our newly mind-controlled robots to where we want 'em…
I don't farm them, so to destroy I use gas canisters - I get about 20-30 of them and use them to take down most of the walls I need to destroy. Saves quite a few explosive rounds.

@Tenbris Infinite, Just a quick question. What do the Fnix like server things do that spawn with Fnix bases.
As a solo I can't stand the seeker spawners, it's just to much u can't even walk when they get spawning. There will just be wall to wall seekers even if u r killing.

But how do we actually destroy them after taking out the generators if we’re not bothered about farming the machine spawners? I can’t figure it out so plz let me know (on PS4)
What is the max level of bases? Is it entrenched? I can’t seem to get them to go higher than that status.
What happened if you already lost the base? How can you get more commander points to make a new one? When I first started playing the game I didn’t knew about the bases so I tried to complete one with 2 crown guns and I lost it.
I also only had 1 find base spawn and only with 10 gold coins,,, however a few days later you can tear the ORDINAL base building for a additional 10 gold coins as it requires 20 to over get base on another location,,, I choose the ski-location,,, however puts me at 0 gold coins and to wait for the hotfix,,, choose wisely,,, because you will be stuck with only 1 until hotfix is out
If i get it right: Fnix bases may broken? I got only 1 of them then not another is this a Bug? (on ps4)
Its a cross platform bug.

@Tenebris Infnite if you destroyed the first base on xbox one version do you have to delete and restar the save or how could you bring up a new base ??
Dont delete and start a new save we'll hopefully have a fix for that broken rng soon casey!
@@TenebrisInfinite hopefuly because ive been trying to grind and stock up 7.62 shock the experimental ag4 aka G3 ASSULT RIFLE is op with shock by the way you should try and find the irl counterparts of in game gun for a vid the ag5 believe it or not is an ak platfrom the AK -5 i thought that was interesting
I really wish these bases spawned for us on console..what I’ve also learned from the very few that have have spawned in. When taking down FNIX bases. It absolutely breaks the game in bad ways too. Took one down the other day and the game just stopped giving audio. Even after restarting the game. A solid 2 fps as well..
Not just console. PC (steam) as well. One base defence, one base assault and that is it. No more despite hours and hours of grinding the region. A fatally flawed update. Shame.
Base Assault update is still not fixed and it's getting a bit irritating. Devs state that they found what's wrong, but waiting for a fix feels like forever, cuz we don't get any up to date news from them... This broken update caused a lot of complaints...

Yeah I'm on PS4 too and I've had to threat level maxed out on that region and the base is still don't spawn and I found all the control points

How are you doing so much damage? I have level 5 and experimental guns with every damage perk and I am doing like a quarter of the damage you are doing.
Im pretty sure he has cheats on, or hes playing on easy mode.
Have they fixed the base assault missions yet? It's getting a little frustrating that the new update is still glitched. I'll start playing again when it's fixed

Bro question I’m playing with my wife on her profile and I can’t use my command points to secure a control point and when she builds I can’t demolish ? Is this a glitch ? Is there a way for me to give her my command points ?
Sadly there isnt a eay to transfer command points my dude, but you get the same amount for lvl 1 bases so just grind those alot :) and as for demolishing items i believe she has to turn that on in the menu for you man, that was a recent change but it should be in the multiplayer menus as far as i know :D

This game needs rhe fixes and improvments part of that road map sooner rather than later.
Everytime I try raiding no generator spawns I can't even get through the walls
I went to go on xbox and play some bo2 today and all my xbox controller were removed from warranty today

I cant figure out to get the control points to build a base. I hope to find it, but i am affraid they are very rare to get
You get them by destroying FNIX bases, they spawn in the forest region as you build "threat score" (visible on the map) They're very common, and easy to spawn and destroy, you just have to be in the right region
@@TenebrisInfinite Thanks. I tried that one time. It was incredible hard. I guess i killed about 70 runners and 20 hunters and 10 shooting turrets in one base because they keep spawning. And it was impossible to get into the 4 generators that needs to be destroyed, because some doors only opens, when enemies get through
or just do this: exp magnus with .44 explosive ammo and the exp sledgehammer
Explosive ammo is just a waste of uranium if you ask me, personally i just use the exp sledge and the 44 Magnus with hollow point

This is STILL incredibly buggy. I can't get above 10 command tokens, have only managed to "take over" one control point, and have yet to see any spawn, even after all the last updates. They REALLY need to fix this, because it's beyond annoying.
But hiw tf do we destroy them u don't say?
FNIX bases will spread across the environment and soon be everywhere, and they cause freezing and extreme lag that ruins the experience.
Taking one down requires a ton more resources than you get back and half the time after you have attacked a base and try to take down shield generator A, B, C and D, you will find that they are shielded and when you "Hold X to Open," it won't open, so you can't destroy the base.
Reboot and come back, all the resources used are gone but the base is back to 100%.
Get ANYWHERE in the vicinity of one, not even close, and the severe lag starts, the larger machines go haywire so that when you destroy one, you can't collect loot, instead you die when you get close.
Developers add new content to a base game that's very, very broken and the new content just breaks the game more, maybe they are just trying to cash out and aren't going to fix.
I used to destroy those bases alone in gorila mode. I just locate the shield gen and blow walls with 3 rounds , then run past all machines to open it. Run away from the base and shoot the generator from far. Key is to keep running whole time. I met one bug or lag once , when I open the shield gen but could not destroy it. Wasted 50 rounds of explosives.
So one region on my map is covered with Phoenix bases like it has herpes or something. I think they're scary and dangerous and didn't know they're supposed to be used for farming.
Im 30th level but suck at this game.

Gotta be careful when playing with others while you do these bases. The game isn't perfect, so you may loose a base or all bases you build
Sadly happened to me plus I lost my rivals
Sledgehammera make quick work of these bases and they use zero ammo and make very little noise when attacking things.
Save your ammo for when you actually need it, work smarter not harder.
I got a 5 crown sledge off a military tank and it 1 shots the dogs when hitting the gastanks and 1 shots ticks even if they have an armour plate 10/10 very underrated weapon
The way they have the skill tree set sucks ! Should be able to earn all of them
