I honestly thought that Jason Mamoa’s character was gonna be too much for your liking because of how over the top he was but you got a point he knew the type of movie he was in.

pretty decent film, definitely better than the last two. i think what annoys me most about the recent films is that every subsequent film has to come up with another ludicrous excuse for Brian's absence. it made sense for F8 because Mia was gone too, but F9 onwards just makes no sense at all because there's no way in hell that Brian of all people would let Dom and Mia go on all these dangerous missions alone.. nonetheless, Jason Momoa... EASILY top 3 Fast & Furious villains. you can just tell that he's having so much fun with the role 🤣
I think they will have Brian return but only for the very last movie. If they do f12. Then Brian will appear in the credit scene of f11. But they have to do it at the end. Because I think the fans will only accept this for 1 movie. Otherwise they would say it’s too disrespectful even if the family says it’s ok
Insult me if you want, but I actually shed a tear at the end of Fast 7. Cars are a massive part of my life, and for many people in my age group, Fast and Furious was a major influence on us. I felt personally insulted when they made an 8th, 9th, and now 10th movie.
Jason S. character survived falling through a collapsed building after Vin D. stomped his foot on the cement roof, and his villain character was just fine. At this point, Vin lifting a car with one hand is small potatoes. They don't get wounds really. I mean... I was surprised they got even a few injuries, but technology took care of that. These are just live-action cartoons to me, that I enjoy.
My only hope for Rock coming back, is him taking on his old role from Fast Five, and the twist being that this entire time since 5, he’s been playing the Family in order to arrest them all like he wanted to in the beginning. Would it make sense? Nah, but it’d be a better twist than anything else they’ve done 😂
It'll just be the Rock is a villain, but a friend, but a villain, but their friend but a villain. That's the logic these movies have so far. They team up with people who tried to kill them during the last movie because they high fived.
I agree. They should go to 11, not 12. They don't need to drag out this story they are trying to tell between 10 and 11 for one more movie. I feel if they are dragging it out to 12, they'll be adding too much filler. Also, I would watch Fast & Furious 50, but I would like things to have a narrative ending, although they kind of did that already with 6. 6 definitely had a final film feel to it. But I was a HUGE Sons Of Anarchy fan. I never wanted the show to end, but I would've liked the show to have a beginning, middle, and end, which it did. The show has a complete story to tell. So as much as I like Fast & Furious, there needs to be a beginning, middle, and end. I don't want the movies to end because of "oh, just end the movies already" reasons. I want them to end in a narrative way so there is a complete story (and yes, there is plot and stuff to these movies). I think with the story they are trying to tell with these final movies, just tighten the script to 11 and not extend things to 12.
I basically hated F9. I didn’t go into this movie with high expectations. But I had an okay time with this film. It felt like there were some kind of stakes in this movie, which I appreciated. Adding to that. I quite liked Jason Momoa as the villain and I enjoyed this being a direct sequel to Fast Five. But the family is just too big. There’s so many people that are split into so many groups that it was difficult to keep track of what was going on. Now, this franchise is still playing the same cards, but I was entertained enough for the runtime of this film.
John Cena a whole new character, this was “can i have McDonalds (infinity war)? NO we have McDonalds (fast x) at home” and Jason Mamoa is him. Fast 5-7 was peak imo, they should aim to stop at two part finale
Personally, I'm waiting for The Fast and the Furious: The End of the End, i.e. the HBO series. My favorite part is when Dom gets in trouble while trying to steal the McGuffin, but is fortunately saved at the last minute by my two favorite family members played by Aaron Paul and Lil Nas X. And then they all have a BBQ cookout.
This really did feel like they were bringing everybody back in for a Thanos level threat. But it led to Gal Gadot finally returning and that is all I've wanted since F6. One question, though. Where the hell is Owen? After F8, he just kind of disappeared, but I don’t even remember seeing him as a target for Dante, despite also helping Dom like the mom did. Surely he'll be back helping Deckard in F11, right? Hopefully?
Vin Diesel is the only one who keeps on hanging to this franchise, outside of F&F, his movies are always box office flops, Plus, I think Vin is disrespecting Paul by always bringing him up, especially when it's unnecessary, just let the guy RIP, it's been a decade already
Honestly could’ve stopped at Fast 5 the best of the franchise best characters, story and action. Like you said they’ve ran out of gas😂seriously goes to show that when you run out of ideas just leave it alone but when you make 5 extra films you know it’s gonna be a mess. But great video Cody🤘🏽
I loved Jason Mamoa's character in Fast X, his character was the one i mostly enjoyed and laughed at. He kept me from spacing out of the movie, that and the blowing up cars scenes. Great review Cody, your reviews always make me smile and laugh.
I just hope Jason Momoa didn't join the family by the end of the next one. I'm fine with Hobbs in Fast Five but didn't like they did that to Shaw brothers in F8 also with Jacob in F9
They will. Even though he's arguably just a combination of Cipher, Deckard, and Hobbs, he will be shaking hands with Dom at the next barbecue because now he's got the family he never had. And then he'll be just as helpless against the new villain as every villain-turned-hero (the jury is still out on Cipher).
It's funny that I've heard 2 reviewers say that two entirely different movies are complete within a couple of weeks of each other. Knights-watch with spider verse and Cody with Fast-x
I really enjoyed it, can’t wait for part 2….then again….the last live-action movie I saw in cinemas was effin Halloween Ends so this was the biggest upgrade EVER!! Dante STOLE the show, he was like a mix of Heath Ledger Joker/Willem Dafoe Green Goblin/Syndrome from Incredibles and it WORKED!!!!!!
Honestly Jason character is amazing the way he played it yes it might be over the top for some but that is how he is and it explains why in the movie but he is also insanely smart.
Awesome review man! I haven't seen the film yet, but something has been frustrating me is that it doesn't seem like the creators wanted to have surprises for this movie. It felt like the whole film was spoiled online. The final trailer was literally 4 minutes long.
This movie better start out with Dom eating a tuna sandwich, no crust, and Aquaman says "You messed with my family, now I'll mess with yours". If it doesn't, I'm going to punch a Vin Diesel forehead sized hole in my wall.
I’m one of the guys that’ll watch 20 of these but it’s definitely time for it to end. Honestly, Vin shouldn’t have said anything about 3 part finale because I don’t think it’s going to perform as well as the previous films. I was definitely OK with it just being a 2 parter. There’s a lot of characters so it makes sense to me
This movie shows that there is clearly not enough content to stretch this to 3 movies. The 2nd movie will be boring and a slog if they make it a trilogy…
@@brionesb Man facts. I do believe that Fast X was better than 8 and 9 but it’s time to finally wrap it up. Just do Part 2 and call it a day. This franchise is special though….no one saw this shit coming but I’m glad it happened
@@nicholaslee4215 yeah, overall it was better than the past 2 entries but not by much. It wasn’t as over the top of F9 and completely unbelievable but it felt unsatisfying to me story wise. Before it became the soap opera of characters returning from the dead, I was on board. The franchise was silly fun but laughing along with the audience rather than lazily shitting out sequels. I just hope whatever is planned for the final films turns out to be worth the wait but we’ll see.
I went into this movie expecting to hate it especially after the god awful fast 9 but damn i had a blast with this. Momoa was such an awesome villian. Yes there are parts that made me go wtf but i expect it from these movies haha

You said it Cody. The main problem is that narrative tries to juggle all the storylines of the different characters. You have Vin Diesels storyline, you have Michele Rodriguez storyline, you have Charlize Theron's storyline, you have hacker chick Emmanuel and Ludacris and Tyreese Gibson storyline, you have Jason Mamoa's storyline, you have Brie Larson's storyline. You even have the agency storyline. This movie like all the other FF movies starts with a bang but just runs out of gas. There is the promise of something big and there is really nothing to offer except some big bang action sequences. Its because the movie tries to do what you said just gives us the characters. You have to give something to do. And you said I have enough of it. I mean I do not want to undermine the efforts of the vast and crew but I could not finish the movie. I will finish it next time but with very low enthusiasm. As Dan Murrell said its one thing to have a over the top premise but its another thing to think the audience is stupid. FF movies have taken the audience to be stupid. I though have to say that this movie had the ingredients of a good action thriller. The basic plotline was there. Had they really worked on the idea of Jason Mamoa, the biggest or more dangerous villain, taking revenge on Dominic Toretto and trapping his group and family in deadly situation it could have worked. It could have been Mamoa traps say Ludacris and Natalie Emmanuel and Tyrese Gibson and forces Dominic and Letty to save them and get into trouble. Or force them to go on a dangerous mission. Just work on developing the plot rather than try and get everybody a story arc. Had they worked on Mamoa plotting and trapping everybody this part could have been an interesting part I where family is under fire. And in the next part they combine to take him down. They needed a good screenplay writer who could develop the screenplay on that lines. The story had the potential. But the problem is that this movie instead of working on that, working on the singular plot, this movie tries to give everybody something to do. And it becomes farcical very soon. I know F&F operates in its own universe but somehow they have made it too twisted and ridiculous. This was supposed to grand finale, where the group is really against the wall. But it seems everybody here has super powers and nothing is impossible. There is way out of everything. Everything is so convenient and contrived that nothing matters. There are only couple of things I liked. One is Mamoa playing the bad guy. But even his character is turned into a parody as the movie progresses. And second is the big action sequence in Rome. This is frankly getting getting too outlandish. I would say just finish this in the next part. Get Dwayne Johnson or somebody else and just end it.
Also, I'm wondering if anyone noticed this or questioned it, but aside from Jesse/Chad Lindberg who did a great job and think it's strange not to bring him back with Han/Gisele and Letty's returns especially sense Chad still acts and hasn't gone through any criminal or health related issues as far as I know bbbuuut. What the fuck happened to Leon/Johnny Strong? In 2001's Fast film, he is shown to be a part of the family as much as Vince and Jesse, yet he is never seen nor mentioned NOT ONCE! Especially after rewatching all 9 films for Fast X, it's just something that bothers me. I loved💛 🇵🇹Daniela Melchior's Isabel🇧🇷💚 thought she gave a element of sincerity to a film filled with larger then life characters and out of this world situations. She's just wants to be a better racer and remember Elena. She extended her hand to help Dom but she understood why she needed to stay away from the danger that killed her sister, her brother-in-law and nearly killed her nephew. Elena would want her to stay away but be the best at whatever she choose to do. Isabel likely expressed her interest in racing to Elena and Elena didn't stop her from committing to her calling in life. For Elena, it was Law Enforcement, and for Elena, watching Isabel be enthralled with racing was like watching an artist painting their first piece or a singer writing their first song. For Elena, it was beautiful magic she wouldn't dare stop.
Supposedly, director Louis Leterrier had to write the third act in one night when he came onboard to the project which might explain some of the ways this movie decided to end things off to set up a sequel (maybe 2 depending on how things go)
Cody I love your channel of rankings of movies, I've been doing my own top 50 lists of all time, I recently wrote my top 50 90s movies of all time I was thinking if you can do a list of your top 50 90s movies of all time I will highly appreciate it if you can do a video off it.
Well I finally completed it. My rating is 6. That is largely due to well executed actions scenes and very sleek look of the movie. But unfortunately the criticisms you listed are spot on. The movie tries to give every character a track . Everybody who has been a part of this franchise has some space. Now that is by itself meritorious. But the point is there is not much of a narrative logic for anybody's track. The movie unsuccessfully tries to make the audience forget the inconsequential narrative and glaring lack of logic through some well executed set pieces. But one good or few good action sequences cannot hide the big flaws in your narrative. And big bang action too only counts for something when its linked to the plot. Barring the first action sequence in Rome and last one, none of the action sequences really had a place in the plot. There were just put to make up for run time and give the characters something to do. I my entire life I have watched only one movie or Trilogy and that is Matrix where the action overrides the plot. Other than that only action and explosions cannot make a movie. And what is really the main weakness of the plot or narrative is that nothing really matters. There are no rules. I mean its fine if you have your own rules but at least have a set of rules. F&F movies have never really been able to set a boundary for stretching of disbelief. Just as Cody noticed. All in all this is a movie solely written to for set pieces without a complete story. Yes some of them are well executed but if everybody can do everything then a point comes when the audience will stop caring. I mean by the end I was kind of just watching. This will probably end in the next part. I really do not think they can stretch it to part 3. I mean if I speak of myself I can say that I am not very keen to know how this ends. I do however conclude that this was good idea. A big villain going after every F&F character was a decent idea. But instead of developing that plot they just gave a collection of action scenes involving every character. Neither the plot is set up well, nor do you have narrative which connects the characters to plot, and finally you have ending which is clearly abrupt. Its sad because that idea was well thought, and in parts the movie shows the intensity to be a big bang finale. But it is never given the proper thought.

Second comment. I agree there was too many plots/stories going on in the movie and it takes forever to get back to one. This was my major issue with Stranger Things Season 4. Too many stories/plots and it took forever to get back to a story. Sometimes it would take a whole episode or two to get back to a story in Season 4, and every episode of Season 4 was over an hour. So you were looking at almost 2 hours with a story not getting any screen time and it seemed like they wanted you to take notes and stuff to remember stuff or recap the last time the story was onscreen. To me, Fast & Furious 10 felt like I was watching a TV show episode than a movie, especially an episode of Strange Things (mainly Season 4). And the movie does scream Part 1. I remember checking stuff around the 90-minute mark and nothing really happened yet, and it didn't feel like they were going to wrap up stuff in the next 30-40 minutes. It just seems like they are holding back for Part 2 aka Fast & Furious 11, and 10 is all build, especially Jason Statham's bit. We see him preparing to go protect his mom before Momoa gets to him, but it just screamed, "oh, but you got to wait until Fast & Furious 11 to see what happens next."

Than you Cody! Now I can safely avoid paying money to watch this slog in the theater. I’ve been a fan of the franchise from the beginning till 7 (where it should’ve ended,) and I absolutely HATED my time at the theater with F9… I’m gonna just skip this one and maybe wait to see how it all ends before I consider giving them a watch. Till then, the wait for Across the Spiderverse begins!!
This is why I try to avoid articles and SM about movies I want to see. I didn't even know it wasn't going to be a complete movie so that ending shocked me. It did leave me feeling kind of empty. And seeing the Rock in the post-credit did hype me up. I love the rock. But I was surprised because of the feud that had gone down between him and Vin and Tyrese.
Quite enjoyed this review. I think the worst thing (or maybe it's a good thing for this franchise?) is that Part 2 & 3 have not been written. So this story/script was written to be a cliffhanger, and then "we'll figure out the rest later."
No they’d already got Christina Odson and Oren Uziel as screenwriters before, they take time to announce it, you know about film industry right? Also the original script was different, Louis leterrier once he joined in changed most of the script.
@@rihabshaikh9666 Louis Leterrier did uncredited rewrites, I know that. Doesn't change the fact that Part 2 & Part 3 don't have completed scripts, and even if Part 2 has writers now, they weren't there when Part 1 was written & filmed. "they take time to announce it" how am I supposed to know that F10 Part 2 has writers attached unless it's announced somewhere?
I just came from theater and I am a huge fan of the franchise and I still love to watch your reviews man and I do understand some of the criticism for example the death of characters is not efficient anymore because we know they will come back and thank god i did not get spoilers of post credit scene despite many people did !!!
I need to rewatch this franshise at some point. I don't even remember which movies I have seen and not. I know I haven't seen 9 and X I think I have seen the others but I'm not sure. Based on memory I would give a positive review to the first movie and the second one. Tokyo drift I don't like much about it. The rest I don't remember or haven't seen.
I pretty much agree with everything you said. I'm a fan from the beginning & since F7 there has been a steep decline. F9 is the worst by a mile and FX got saved by Jason Mamoa.
I was satisfied Cody, but i felt the movie was 2 movies late & this should've been *Fast & Furious 8* i just feel some people give the mixed review since the franchise jumped the shark already. I thought this part is refreshing compared to the other movies but it's not a flawless movie, Also Louis Leterrier take on this series came bit late (which was actually very entertaining)
“He’s kind of like a party guy, bro version of the Joker” … probably the best way to describe Jason Momoas character. That’s actually what I was thinking shortly after his character was introduced. Very Joker-like Licking blood off the knife he used to slit the dudes throat, playing makeover with corpses (whilst having painted nails and pigtails😂), and laughing as Dom punches him (then takes his broken tooth out and calls Dom a butthole😂☠️) I love the fast movies, granted I’m a firm believer and agree with the fact they should’ve stopped after Paul died, but Jason momoa was my favorite character in this movie @CodyLeach, as far as returning characters, not to be technical, but Leon hasn’t came back yet. IMO, with how they brought in John Cenas character, that would’ve been a more than perfect time to bring back Leon. That would’ve made more sense and I think would’ve been more appealing to the fans to, instead of creating a random character out of nowhere, bringing back an OG. Hell, they did it with Jurassic Park
I really enjoy watching Fast and the Furious 5 through 10 so far. I barely remember 1 through 4. I am going to watch 11, because I need to know what is going to happen next.
I really enjoyed it. It’s better than the last one. Furious 7 is the best one and Tokyo Drift is the worst one in my opinion. Btw, you are right about the fact that they shouldn’t end the movie where it was about to get to the official climax and the storyline wasn’t exactly complete.
Honestly I just watched for your opinion but they literally lost me after Tokyo drift. I’m just not a guy who needs stupid balls to the walls action. I need substance and this franchise turned into that a long time ago.
Until fast 5 It was a perfect ending No government or spy BS Realistic and believable stunts And the story was complete tbh Like they hit the jackpot Every one moved on and had millions but they had to ruined it But like you said It's dum fun And still making millions So yeah I watch these movies without taking it Seriously
Thank You for your review. I am So Happy that I will not watch FASTX, could not stomach Fast9 and your review is on point with some facts that I could not even stand in the recent Films, Your Negatives on Fast 9 and X are so correct that you should be given an award for even being able to sit through FAST X. I am Glad i will never watch it, never buy the Merch or DVD etc. RIP FAST and Furious 1-7. They have Devalued the Franchise and Merch with FAST 8,9 and X.
That intro was awesome. Cody, what are your thoughts on them now stretching this so called 2 part finale out into a 3 part finale now. It is such a joke. Apparently universal asked Vin Diesel to do so, but I refuse to believe that Diesel was nothing to do with this. Where do they even go from here? It has just strayed so far from it's original concept it's now just insane.
The villains *were* getting bigger and larger than life as it progressed? But, I've only watched Fast 7 - for Jason Statham's 'fight skills!" So, *The Reacher actor* is in, with John Cena and Jason Momoa - *crowded?!* 🤔Perhaps, in the last, 2 closings he (supposedly) would prefer, Vin Diesel could go 'small'...like *Peter Dinklage?' These narratives (to me) are similar to *Wile E. Coyote, Loony Tunes and Merrie Melodies, all rolled into one! But, I'm too "pragmatic" to appreciate this plot for more than 90 minutes😉☺
With me, I saw the first movie, didn't really like it, so haven't seen anything since then. And John Cena, well, I can't see him anyways. 😉 But yeah, this doesn't sound like something to change my mind on this franchise. And being a horror fan, I do know why the skeptical of being the last movie as in horror, been lied to several times, hello Friday the 13th The Final Chapter, Jason Goes to Hell The Final Friday, and Freddy's Dead The Final Nightmare for some examples. 😉But yeah, thank you, Cody.
I went into this movie thinking it was going to be god awful and I was pleasantly surprised here. The story wasn’t a classic or anything but the entertainment and action was awesome. The fighting was probably the best of the series and personally I think John Cena’s character as Jacob is my favorite part the movie.
when Jason Momoa said "looks like uncle muscle aint coming to the next barbecue" that had me ROLLING😂
That killed me lmao. I was actually sad that John Cena “died” (guarantee he’s alive anyway) then Jason Momoa dropped that line. 😂
His the new joker
@@HEYitzEDI would not be surprised to see him come back, plus I want to see the rock and John cena in the same film
He should've then said i guess its ok he is the barbecue 😂😂
“I mean it’s very honorable”
I honestly thought that Jason Mamoa’s character was gonna be too much for your liking because of how over the top he was but you got a point he knew the type of movie he was in.
I could see him being too zany for some people.

Really try older franchises like Godzilla been around for nearly 70 years since 1954 with 36 total film and ongoing.
pretty decent film, definitely better than the last two. i think what annoys me most about the recent films is that every subsequent film has to come up with another ludicrous excuse for Brian's absence. it made sense for F8 because Mia was gone too, but F9 onwards just makes no sense at all because there's no way in hell that Brian of all people would let Dom and Mia go on all these dangerous missions alone..
nonetheless, Jason Momoa...
Least I'm not alone with thinking they should've ended after Furious 7. I did enjoy Fast X but it just doesn't feel the same without Paul Walker
Tbh, the franchise basically died with Paul Walker. Might be harsh, but it’s true. He was the heart of it.
@@skyofthelivingdead I wouldn't disagree with that. You can definitely fill his absence
Insult me if you want, but I actually shed a tear at the end of Fast 7. Cars are a massive part of my life, and for many people in my age group, Fast and Furious was a major influence on us. I felt personally insulted when they made an 8th, 9th, and now 10th movie.
@@ashtonluck absolutely, they just haven’t been able to pull it off thus far, unfortunately.
@@themidnighttavern6784 I think pretty much every cried at the end of Furious 7 so your good
For real vin diesel making himself into superman in these movies
The comparisons to Avengers is definitely more accurate with this movie especially how it ends it definitely had Infinity War vibes
I think Jason Mamao made the movie. Reminded me of a mix between the joker & Negan
Jason S. character survived falling through a collapsed building after Vin D. stomped his foot on the cement roof, and his villain character was just fine.
I would love to see The Rock take them all down and they all end up in prison. But that’s not happening.
I’m soured on these but I like that idea a lot
It'll just be the Rock is a villain, but a friend, but a villain, but their friend but a villain. That's the logic these movies have so far. They team up with people who tried to kill them during the last movie because they high fived.
My biggest complaint about this franchise (and I have quite a few) is how did these "street racers" become like secret agents essentially...
I went into this film having not seen the previous ones and enjoyed it for what it was. I love how absurd it gets.
F9? but we talking about F10 bro

*SPOILERS FOR FAST X*
My favourite part is when Momoa is chasing Jakob in the tunnel and his car suddenly makes the TIE Fighter sound
Hopefully?
Did you not watch the post credit scene?
@@Tobinator127 I did. Was Owen mentioned or seen there? If so, I clearly missed it. I'm stupid.
They haven’t brought back Leon from the first movie and the Miami crew from 2fast2furious 😂
I agree the 5th is the best good heist film also ❤❤❤
I disagree man, it’s great over the top dumb fun but the original 3 are the best.
The problem is when you know none of them can lose, the stakes are gone. Jason Mamoa kept saying they needed to suffer. But Dom never suffered really.
Fast X, one last ride , made out of 3 little one last rides 😂😂😂😂
I've only ever seen the original Fast And The Furious, and that was enough for me. Point Break is a forever classic.
Vin Diesel is the only one who keeps on hanging to this franchise, outside of F&F, his movies are always box office flops, Plus, I think Vin is disrespecting Paul by always bringing him up, especially when it's unnecessary, just let the guy RIP, it's been a decade already
Been waiting all day for this one 😂 you did not disappoint
I know I'm in the minority but 2 fast 2 furious is my favourite
I'm fine with Hobbs in Fast Five but didn't like they did that to Shaw brothers in F8 also with Jacob in F9
i loved the part where Dom said "i don't have enemies, i got family" and accepted Dante into the family. true cinema.
I’d be good with them doing Hobbs and Shaw 2 and ending the franchise with that.
Honestly Jason character is amazing the way he played it yes it might be over the top for some but that is how he is and it explains why in the movie but he is also insanely smart.
Fast X: the franchise that never ends 😂
Awesome review man! I haven't seen the film yet, but something has been frustrating me is that it doesn't seem like the creators wanted to have surprises for this movie. It felt like the whole film was spoiled online. The final trailer was literally 4 minutes long.
Perfect review. I hope it's only a 2 parter as well, too thin for a trilogy
This movie better start out with Dom eating a tuna sandwich, no crust, and Aquaman says "You messed with my family, now I'll mess with yours". If it doesn't, I'm going to punch a Vin Diesel forehead sized hole in my wall.
Best comment in this thread!! 🏆 😂
“What did you put in that sandwich?”
“That’s really funny!”
Honestly I thought fast X was good there was few scenes that were a little too much but I thought it was a fun movie too watch can’t wait for fast 11
I went into this movie expecting to hate it especially after the god awful fast 9 but damn i had a blast with this. Momoa was such an awesome villian. Yes there are parts that made me go wtf but i expect it from these movies haha
Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs III (which is Hobbs, Shaw and Reyes)

- Jason Momoa as Dante Reyes (rumored, unconfirmed, limited, main antihero, main antagonist, rumored main lead cast) and his character as the main antagonist who was defeated by everyone (including Dom (Vin Diesel), Brian (CGI Paul Walker, Cody Walker, Caleb Walker, Chris Evans and Josh Duhamel) and Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) in the eleventh series) and his character as a resurrected character in a cameo appearance at the end credits of the second Hobbs series
- Idris Elba as Brixton Lore (rumored, unconfirmed, limited, main antihero, main antagonist, rumored main cast) and his character as the main antihero/protagonist who has joined forces with Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and Shaws (Jason Statham, Luke Evans and Vanessa Kirby) to defeat Locke (Ryan Reynolds) in the third Hobbs series
Also, I'm wondering if anyone noticed this or questioned it, but aside from Jesse/Chad Lindberg
who did a great job and think it's strange not to bring him back with Han/Gisele and Letty's returns especially sense Chad still acts and hasn't gone through any criminal or health related issues as far as I know bbbuuut.
I heard he didn't care for the insane direction the franchise has gone, so he isn't interested in coming back. But the internet would never lie, so...
Fast X: The Search for more money
Supposedly, director Louis Leterrier had to write the third act in one night when he came onboard to the project which might explain some of the ways this movie decided to end things off to set up a sequel (maybe 2 depending on how things go)

The Dialogue in Weed Wolf is better then most of Vin Diesel’s dialogue in this film.
30 minute Cody video…? Sign me up!🤘🏻
Well I finally completed it.
Been here since around 60k or so. I think I can speak for everyone when I say Cody is always himself and that's always refreshing
Jason was amazing in dune as well
Great James Bond villain
Hey Cody it’s so cool to see how big your channel has grown I’ve been a viewer since you were at 40k subs 🙌🏾

Fast XII + Fast 12 rumors
Than you Cody! Now I can safely avoid paying money to watch this slog in the theater. I’ve been a fan of the franchise from the beginning till 7 (where it should’ve ended,) and I absolutely HATED my time at the theater with F9… I’m gonna just skip this one and maybe wait to see how it all ends before I consider giving them a watch. Till then, the wait for Across the Spiderverse begins!!
Love the intro man
This is why I try to avoid articles and SM about movies I want to see.
No justice for the character Leon from the first film. The only character that hasn't come back yet. Find another way home pizza boy!
Tokyo Drift is one of the best in the series in my opinion, I liked how it explored the fish out water storyline in that film.
I can’t believe the franchise is still going to be honest
I just came from theater and I am a huge fan of the franchise and I still love to watch your reviews man and I do understand some of the criticism for example the death of characters is not efficient anymore because we know they will come back and thank god i did not get spoilers of post credit scene despite many people did !!!
Don't forget they brought Paul walkers daughter on for a cameo. She's the flight attendant that gave John Cena the vodka bottles
Ŵould just like to say go back to the 80s movie No Man's Land with Charlie Sheen and DB Sweeney. Point Break ripped it off first lol.
6:26 & this take right here this is the reason it will sell very very well and it WONT be the end of the road just yet
I was satisfied Cody, but i felt the movie was 2 movies late & this should've been
*Fast & Furious 8* i just feel some people give the mixed review since the franchise jumped the shark already.
I thought this part is refreshing compared to the other movies but it's not a flawless movie,
Also Louis Leterrier take on this series came bit late (which was actually very entertaining)
“He’s kind of like a party guy, bro version of the Joker” … probably the best way to describe Jason Momoas character. That’s actually what I was thinking shortly after his character was introduced. Very Joker-like
Licking blood off the knife he used to slit the dudes throat, playing makeover with corpses (whilst having painted nails and pigtails😂), and laughing as Dom punches him (then takes his broken tooth out and calls Dom a butthole😂☠️)
I love the fast movies, granted I’m a firm believer and agree with the fact they should’ve stopped after Paul died, but Jason momoa was my favorite character in this movie
@CodyLeach, as far as returning characters, not to be technical, but Leon hasn’t came back yet.
27:00 Also Leon besides Jessie who died 1st film and Vince who died in 5
I really enjoy watching Fast and the Furious 5 through 10 so far.
The Tokyo Drift slander is ridiculous imo. Easily top 3 in the franchise for me
@@lorenzo_smit I disagree! Tokyo Drift is very boring.
Honestly I just watched for your opinion but they literally lost me after Tokyo drift. I’m just not a guy who needs stupid balls to the walls action. I need substance and this franchise turned into that a long time ago.
Until fast 5
It was a perfect ending
No government or spy BS
Realistic and believable stunts
And the story was complete tbh
Like they hit the jackpot
Every one moved on and had millions but they had to ruined it
But like you said
It's dum fun
And still making millions
So yeah I watch these movies
without taking it
Seriously
Thank You for your review. I am So Happy that I will not watch FASTX, could not stomach Fast9 and your review is on point with some facts that I could not even stand in the recent Films, Your Negatives on Fast 9 and X are so correct that you should be given an award for even being able to sit through FAST X. I am Glad i will never watch it, never buy the Merch or DVD etc. RIP FAST and Furious 1-7. They have Devalued the Franchise and Merch with FAST 8,9 and X.
These films just aren’t the same without Paul walker. It’s like speed 2 without Keanu Reeves I just can’t get into it
CG Brian's gonna show up in Fast X Part III, mark my words. Third act savior.
@@loganbigmoman I hope man. Be great to have a scene like no way home with Tobey and Otto reunion with dom and Brian.
The first movie is not an indicator of where this franchise is now. I'd say watch the fourth movie (a soft reboot) and see if that's to your liking.
I went into this movie thinking it was going to be god awful and I was pleasantly surprised here. The story wasn’t a classic or anything but the entertainment and action was awesome. The fighting was probably the best of the series and personally I think John Cena’s character as Jacob is my favorite part the movie.
This movie was wicked! Crazy goofy and Jason Momoa killed it as Dante
🗣️ Hobbs 🗣️and🗣️Shaw 2!!! I need this movie.
Toretto looks so tired throughout the whole movie like he could knock over and take a nap anytime
Fast Five was the best version of what there doing now but I still prefer the first one, always will it seems now.
You should check Gone in 60 seconds (2000)
That was a good movie too
@@BRIANOCONNOR2003yea great cast in that movie.
@@AntonioGee you got that right
I like it because the cars look cool and the soundtrack was great
They are basically pont break with cars
Fast x is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME and STUNNINGLY AMAZING
I'm torn between what's next, either they just bring Brian back as a full CGI lead (it's gotten that tasteless) or time travel.
They should have kept the plot about the cars they went away from the love of the story the cars
Bro, but I *love* fat Vin Diesel. He’s made it - congratulations, my friend. You’ve earned the right to let loose.
Okay, I noticed him lift that car up with one arm and I thought I was the only one 🤣😂 da f***?!?
The franchise is good. If anybody is expecting more from a fast and furious movie, that's on them.
