I liked this film a whole lot better than 9, but i feel like this being 1 of a two part finale makes it very interesting with how the story will end
well that’s actually changed. It went from a two part finale to now it’s a 3 part. Vin confirmed it in a interview or a week or two ago.

@@reyesreviews I think the 3 part decision happened after the Rock agreed to be on board. Vin and Paul's brothers also said they wanted to bring Brian back for the 11th installment so I'm guessing the second part will focus mainly on Brian, Mia, Hobbs, and the Shaw siblings and then the final part will be everyone coming together for the big final battle.

This film looks like the most fun Vin Diesel has had since FF7, which is definitely worth a watch just from this review alone!

I liked how it felt like the bad guy won with this movie
We appreciate your explanations. The whole Fast and Furious franchise is going stronger over the years. The whole case did a phenomenal job with their roles in this.
Putting everything aside. I really enjoyed Jason Momoa's character here. The theme/term surrounding around "suffering" is such a neat idea that Hollywood is doing in some movies. Super Mario Bros for ex. Its refreshing imo to see villians being completely evil and reckless. Killing without a care. Its makes the story more interesting and gives the villian a chance to shine. Not the standard, "easy defeat" from the protagonist.
His character was dark and his comedy really hit the spot. Again, the theme of "suffer like I have" is reallly cool concept to see on screen. Jason in my eyes, did a great job.

It was a good movie. I think people are so full of themselves with pointing out how fake stuff is because its the popular thing to do with Fast movies that they forgot that they actually like over the top fun action movies.
And people always make the false claim that it was originally about street racing. The series was never about street racing save for maybe Tokyo Drift. The suped up cars was always there for the action.
First movie was about Brian going undercover to find out who’s robbing trucks.
Second movie Brian goes undercover again to take out a drug kingpin.
3rd movie was about drifting.
4th Brian goes undercover to take out another drug boss.
Ect, ect.
And why use a regular Audi or something for an action scene when you can use a GTR, Hellcat, Mustang, ect?

@@candles6103 for real, and the whole cliffhanger for a split last movie? Absolute dumb. The action scenes were so over the top, but had no weight at all - everything was cgi (bad CGI, the sphere rolling over the cars?? Looked like a toy). The movie could have used a lot more practical stunt and at least the dumb things would look good and make it worthwhile.
This is my in-depth reason as to why I dislike the movie.
I think the movie is trash. The unrelasitcness and corny dialouge kills it for me, also bringing back people who should've died. Everything is over the top in this movie. The few good things are Jacob and Han, which i hate to admit, Han had no purpose in this movie he did pretty much nothing in this movie, same for Tej and Roman who spent time going back n fourth for most the movie. Dantae, like Jack Sparrow, goofy but clever, who im lowkey rooting for him more than the main characters atp. But Dante is also over the top. Hot take, Ramsy is annoying and feels out of place. She dont even have a bond w the characters, not even w Roman and Tej. The back n fourth w Tej and Roman felt dragged out, and it gets repetitive after a while. Another thing that bothered me was the way the movie is about technology(kinda). Even tho that was introduced in fast 7. Even w all my critiques it's still better than fast 9 and 8, the worst fast movies

I've come to love this franchise and yes I used to be a hater lol but actually watching all of them, I realize these movies are just in their own world and they know it and they know the fans. They entertain. People are too harsh on these films. So I appreciate the fun, humorous review. 😂👍

This was definitely one of the better movies in the series for sure. Every one of these other reviewers are gonna hate on it and say “it sucks”, “it makes my brain hurt” just to follow the trends. But you can’t deny how good this one was. Excited to see part 2
No its shit well at least they where not in space but they turnt the movies from good racing movies to unrealistic action movies
I actually couldn't follow the hand to hand scenes and thought they weren't all that great compared to 9 but maybe I'm wrong. Hopefully I'll appreciate them more on a rewatch.Everything involving cars and guns though was great. Lots of fun. I did enjoy it but not as much as 9 for some reason, even though I liked 9 a lot but felt it was lacking in some areas. But you're right, these are just fun goofy movies. I enjoyed my time with this one.

I loved this movie so much. The entire movie went by so quickly. It felt like 20 minutes long. I wanted it to be longer. I cried my eyes out too in those first 10 minutes and it also had me laughing so much. Loved it. I loved Brie Larson so so so so much. She was so much fun and I can’t wait to see more of her and I would love a spin off with her as the main character. I do wish that Scott was in it more because I also love Scott Eastwood in these movies. He’s a lot of fun as junior and i think it would be very interesting to see if he and Brie Larson get along in the movie. Like maybe Scott competes with her since she’s the daughter but he’s her dads right hand man. That would be a lot of fun to see. You could feel how much she was enjoying herself and that she’s a fan of the movies. I would pass out too if they handed me the necklace

It's not crazy, we know the franchise is insane but Fast X really made a lot of sense and the way the story progressed was actually interesting.

As much as I enjoyed fast 9 some of the emotional moments in fast 9 just felt rushed while every emotional moment in fast X didn’t feel rushed and fast X has the highest stakes of the franchise. I actually felt danger for these characters this time. Fast 56&6 had the most high stakes and fast 8&9 didn’t have much of the high stakes and I felt like fast X brought that back. I enjoyed fast X from start to finish and the film kept me wanting more.

My prediction if this is movie 1 of a trilogy to end the series: Next movie Alan Ritchson's character will take the main role as the bad guy with Jason Momoa in the background. He'll get killed by Mr. Nobody coming back and saving the team. Movie 3 will be CGI Paul Walker saving the day with John Cena (because no one dies in this franchise).
Their equivalent of the portal scene is basically CGI Brian in a skyline from afar and also, the Samoan bradahs from Hobbs & shaw

So many things about all this. I was so nervous when Justin Lin left and I still am but I really like Fast X. It was really fun. I’ve seen some people say it was boring. Idk how cuz those same people also say it was stupid, idk how it can be both but whatever ig. About half way through the film when I realized how much I was liking it I realized it was bcz it gave me serious fast 6 vibes (which is my personal favorite). Gisele coming back is something I have held out hope for, for 10 years now: fast 6 was 2013 and now 2023 Fast X, she’s back!!! I am so happy! I was really surprised how campy Jason was allowed to be considering how Vin has kind of taken these movies too seriously in the past (why the last few were so boring imo). Overall it was really fun and people who complain about physics are annoying: their desperate need to be smarter than these movies is exhausting. Can’t wait to watch it again. 😄
