Wow thank you! I'm on same journey each stretching exercise feels so difficult emotionally. Marking days on calendar and praying that these three weeks goes superfast
You look amazing after delivering your sweet baby girl 6 weeks ago! 😊. So glad you were cleared to do more and get put of the house for a while! I remember those days! She's a beautiful baby and she's so lucky to have you and Andy as her parents to care for and love her even when your exhausted 😴 parenting is tough but the rewards far outweigh everything! 😊 I'm so glad she is doing better now since her frenectomy. I'm sure you're enjoying more sleep! I love seeing your updates with day in the life and of course anything baby! My babies aren't babies anymore. I miss the baby stage. Enjoy your little one! 🙂
Thank you!! It feels so good to be out and about! 🙌🏼 YES, I’m so thankful things have started to improve with sleeping and breastfeeding since the frenectomy. And thank you so much for all the kind words 💗
Sounds like you are doing a wonderful job and being the best advocate for your daughter! Patents have to make tough decisions but I think yours was a no brainer. They definitely need to be getting a few hours of sleep at a time! And so do you! 👍
Thank you ❤️ I know this is just the beginning of those tough decisions for my child that are for the best 😭 And yes! We are so thankful she is improving with sleep now 🙌🏼
Thank you so much for sharing about her tong and lip tie release. I went through the same with my daughter at 6 weeks. It was so hard to do the stretches. I just tried to remind myself that it would help her in the long run. I obviously am not going to tell you what to do, but my biggest regret is not having any body work done sooner. There is a podcast called Untethered that has some GREAT info about tongue ties. Look into craniosacral therapy. We also found working with an ibclc who knew about tongue ties to be super helpful! I know you get all kinds of info from people on the internet. If we were friends I would absolutely be sharing this info with you face to face. I am so glad others shared with me about their tongue tie experiences and just want to share with other mamas! No judgement either way. Again, thank you for sharing!
I’ll definitely check it out that podcast!! I’m currently talking to a LC, so hopefully that will set us on the right track after having done this procedure 👌🏼 Yes, and thank you for sharing as well! I want to do the same in bringing awareness to topics like this that aren’t talked about a lot ☺️
Both of our babies had a top lip frenectomy. 😣 Only small feeding issues. One had it around a year old and the other 6 months. One at the ENT office and one in the operating room when getting ear tubes. Both had a tiny dissolving stitch. So so sorry momma, your sweet heart....sigh. Also, I think we live near each other. 😉
Has your little one had a lip/tongue tie revision? What was your experience? ❤️
