When my sister was around, I kind of have those traits like if I was a like a terrible narc (bad at narcissism) When I saw a video "4 signs you were mentally abused", I realized what my mother has done to me and I wanted to repair myself. After my sister got kicked out, months later I realize I was the golden child and my sister was the scapegoat. When I told my mum about the narcissistic abuse she's done to me, she attempted to gaslight me saying "It's not abuse, it's your autism" and I was furious because I at the time was learning to take accountability instead of blaming autism. Sometimes I believe it's a trap when my mum suggests my younger brother and I inherit the house because how long will I have to suffer living with her and boomer politicians ruined the economy Edit: My mum has these traits

Yes Danish, everything you said is what happened to me. My narcissistic husband convinced me that the collapse of our marriage was my fault and I "betrayed" him and God. He twisted reality and all the facts. When i tried to state my side, he disregarded everything i said. I felt like a scolded dog with my tail between my legs. I will NEVER let anyone treat me this way again. It's like trying to fight with Satan. Who wins? Only we win when we choose to get out and leave the narcissist to wallow in their own evil. In our life there is tragedy which is inevitable because we all suffer and die as part of our human condition, but there is also evil which is born out of arrogance and resentment and it is voluntary. Some of these people tend to try to rec -create what they may have done to control people in their own family and friends once upon a time. It's a dysfunctional pattern ( network) but works on others because it worked before. It's true because they always tell on themselves ie why their family doesn't like them or who they later pick or target as " friends" to be their flying monkeys. As for evil? Yes, they are because they KNOW what they're doing and they know it works. Evoking jealousy, hardship and strife isn't something well adjusted people do. The part that is confusing is how they want to be seen as a pillar of goodness and to be a benevolent one but the real part of them is an atrocious backstabbing opportunist out for themselves. The narcissist took me far away from my family to control me, in my case I had to work long hrs because of the way my financial situation changed That was his way of controlling me, he was very cheap. Then he started blaming me for everything, and destroying many of my belongings behind my back, he withheld information, his only concern was his own needs, extremely vindictive, he caused me to loose many jobs, wicked beyond wicked.
This is what my fiance's old roommate did to him. My fiance was a hard-working man and his roommate couldn't stand him having nicer things than himself. The roommate would send my fiance on bogus errands and throw away his personal items when we was out of the apartment. One day the roommate got angry with my fiance and choke slammed him against the wall. The police had to get involved. He went as far as stealing the personal info of my fiance in order to pay for VA hospital services. How he did it I don't know because my fiance never served in the armed forces. The roommate hated the apartment he live in and expected me and my fiance would invite him to live with us. Hell to the NO!

Yes, always remember that the ability to turn a behavior on and off at will is DELIBERATE. For example, in public the narcissist is a loving parent but at home they are a domestic tyrant. In public, they are a victim claiming that you are so abusive, but in private they are constantly verbally abusing you. They know how to put on a mask for their chosen audience. That is deliberate intentional malice of which they are fully in control and that manipulation is evil.
I dont have any regrets, but its been almost a year since i left my narc husband and I am still not able to get over it, I have a lot of questions, I am constantly looking for justice, I dont want to resort to meditation or yoga or therapy to suppress what I am feeling but is there an end to this phase, I told him several times if he wanted to leave, he could but he was hell bent on ruining my reputation while he made himself look like the victim.

Is it wrong to use your energy, even if it's for a short time, to 'payback' the narcissist? I got PTSD, extremely fear and smeared by the narc with lies where the whole city (plus another city) is shaming me for stuff that isn't true. Not even mutual friends, just strangers he smeared me to and now no one wants to deal with me or they act like they do and they insult me in behalf of the narcissist because it was a set up. I just feel so embarrassed because of the narc and the lies they told me and they get a high of it. I just want to shame the narcissist, I just want some kind of payback. I haven't done anything, I don't even know what but first I wanted to know your perspective on it. I know people say just move on, heal, but it's hard when someone has damaged your life so much and is just living freely. Who knows if they're really miserable because they're a narc, maybe that's a coping that we use to make us feel better and they're actually using people like supply and eating their cake too and just be happy with it. I tried that and I am definitely a Christian but after 11 years I realized God wouldn’t want it this way. Always feeling beat down, no peace, no joy, enduring verbal, mental, emotional abuse etc. At some point I had to realize this wasn’t God’s best for me.

Ive heard other people that seem to imply the abuser has vulnerabilities which allowed the abuse. Could it be that all people are receptive to something, like a radio stations they can tune into and detect frequency, like those who are more sensative can tune into things the adverage person may not, and narcassist can change the message but not the broadcasting frequency, which is why when dealing with narcassist people it can seem good om the outside and to observers but inside you know it's all wrong. You wonder how come no one notices? The ability to be deceptively convincing by bypassing the wiring of others. Tailored made. As in the art of war, their defense must be effective. Empaths, highly sensative people and narcassist are still people with vulnerabilities and blind spots Fault and flaws can be found in the abused and the abuser, as bypass can happen with every lock, vault and security system. Is the problem the lock and vault or the one trying to gain entry. A lock just locks the one time, the one trying to break the lock uses the most effort to break it.

Only if the narcissists WANTS to be healed. Jesus cannot FORCE someone to stop being evil if the person chooses to be evil. The Bible tells us to TURN AWAY FROM those people: 2 Timothy 3:1-5 (verses 1 through 13 for the context). In Matthew 23 , Jesus rebukes the Narcissistic Pharisees and Saducees, telling them they are sons of hell. Generally , these people DO NOT CHANGE. It's a CHOICE they have made, exactly like you made the choice to follow God. Very few narcissists realize that what they are doing is evil and decide to change. But it's very difficult to know, since they rarely admit it. but if it happens, then we must pray for them. I personally think that praying for all narcissists to change is a waste of time, since God cannot force a person to change if the person DOES NOT WANT to, that's FREE WILL. it's better to ask God to give us the right discernement to know whom exactly to pray for.

Isolate me from friends and family, told them all I was crazy and inbred, drug addict etc., teaches one to be a dependable and loyal person if they can get through it without help from others too much.
Things get deep because they just don't back down, just keeps escalating in dangerousness, like the insane flipping out and attacking of the innocent they perpetuate only adds momentum to their violence as a whole.

Yes, always remember that the ability to turn a behavior on and off at will is DELIBERATE. For example, in public the narcissist is a loving parent but at home they are a domestic tyrant. In public, they are a victim claiming that you are so abusive, but in private they are constantly verbally abusing you. They know how to put on a mask for their chosen audience. That is deliberate intentional malice of which they are fully in control and that manipulation is evil.

I dont have any regrets, but its been almost a year since i left my narc husband and I am still not able to get over it, I have a lot of questions, I am constantly looking for justice, I dont want to resort to meditation or yoga or therapy to suppress what I am feeling but is there an end to this phase, I told him several times if he wanted to leave, he could but he was hell bent on ruining my reputation while he made himself look like the victim.

Is it wrong to use your energy, even if it's for a short time, to 'payback' the narcissist? I got PTSD, extremely fear and smeared by the narc with lies where the whole city (plus another city) is shaming me for stuff that isn't true. Not even mutual friends, just strangers he smeared me to and now no one wants to deal with me or they act like they do and they insult me in behalf of the narcissist because it was a set up. I just feel so embarrassed because of the narc and the lies they told me and they get a high of it. I just want to shame the narcissist, I just want some kind of payback. I haven't done anything, I don't even know what but first I wanted to know your perspective on it. I know people say just move on, heal, but it's hard when someone has damaged your life so much and is just living freely. Who knows if they're really miserable because they're a narc, maybe that's a coping that we use to make us feel better and they're actually using people like supply and eating their cake too and just be happy with it. I just really need y'alls perspective

I tried that and I am definitely a Christian but after 11 years I realized God wouldn’t want it this way. Always feeling beat down, no peace, no joy, enduring verbal, mental, emotional abuse etc. At some point I had to realize this wasn’t God’s best for me.

Ive heard other people that seem to imply the abuser has vulnerabilities which allowed the abuse.
Could it be that all people are receptive to something, like a radio stations they can tune into and detect frequency, like those who are more sensative can tune into things the adverage person may not, and narcassist can change the message but not the broadcasting frequency, which is why when dealing with narcassist people it can seem good om the outside and to observers but inside you know it's all wrong. You wonder how come no one notices? The ability to be deceptively convincing by bypassing the wiring of others. Tailored made. As in the art of war, their defense must be effective. Empaths, highly sensative people and narcassist are still people with vulnerabilities and blind spots Fault and flaws can be found in the abused and the abuser, as bypass can happen with every lock, vault and security system. Is the problem the lock and vault or the one trying to gain entry. A lock just locks the one time, the one trying to break the lock uses the most effort to break it.

Only if the narcissists WANTS to be healed. Jesus cannot FORCE someone to stop being evil if the person chooses to be evil. The Bible tells us to TURN AWAY FROM those people: 2 Timothy 3:1-5 (verses 1 through 13 for the context). In Matthew 23 , Jesus rebukes the Narcissistic Pharisees and Saducees, telling them they are sons of hell. Generally , these people DO NOT CHANGE. It's a CHOICE they have made, exactly like you made the choice to follow God. Very few narcissists realize that what they are doing is evil and decide to change. But it's very difficult to know, since they rarely admit it. but if it happens, then we must pray for them. I personally think that praying for all narcissists to change is a waste of time, since God cannot force a person to change if the person DOES NOT WANT to, that's FREE WILL. it's better to ask God to give us the right discernement to know whom exactly to pray for.
