This recipe is almost the same recipe as Japanese curry udon noodles recipe I uploaded last year. I adjusted the recipe a little bit to make this recipe go well with rice. Hope you like it!
    去年アップロードしたカレーうどんのレシピとほぼ一緒なんですが、今回のはご飯と合うようにレシピを調整しました^^

What a delicious nutrition dish 😋 and thanks so much for sharing, Dear Chef 💞✨🙏!!!!!
You know, I haven't practiced Japanese for about 15 years. So, I have forgotten almost vocabulary, grammar and Kanji, aww 😫!!!

Whenever people say cooking is just putting raw food on flame I want them to watch your videos. Ryoya, you once again showed us how cooking can be a form of art, how food can be a creation. Thank you for this amazing recipe and relaxing session. Sending much love from India.

Ryoya, you have made my day! I loved the curry udon recipe but I was thinking the same thing....would there be one to go with rice. Wow! I appreciate this so much. You have no idea how much I could use this 'recipe' right now.
I am going through a major health issue right now so I can't eat anything processed in a bag or can etc. Just want to say thank you, thank you so much! Have a wonderful day! Love and hugs 🙂

Ryoya! So glad you updated this. I've been rewatching your old videos (your first ones) and I was just saying to my sister how I wish you would do a new one on the vegan pastas you made in the past. I have done the carrot ones and they were delicious and was hoping to try with other veggies. I hope you will redo those as well. As always thanks for sharing these recipes with us! If you ever come to NYC I'll love to recommend some great vegan restaurants.

I have found it better not to saute the garlic first but, to add it after onions...if I saute garlic first it tends to get too brown, cook too much & taste bitter.

I've noticed that you use a lot of spices used in Indian cooking! I've never seen any other Japanese cooking channels use them though. So I was wondering if this is a hybrid you've created, or if Japanese used these spices as is before they were made into packaged dried cubes. (eg- curry powder cubes) Lovely to see you create everything from scratch!!

    Thanks a lot!
As you know, vitamin B12 (cobalamin), a nutrient that vegans often lack, is crucial for nerve tissue, brain function, and red blood cells.
If the ingredients in a vitamin B12 supplement come from animals, it cannot be considered a vegan diet.
The dried seaweeds "Aosa(Sea lettuce)'' and "Aonori(Green Seaweed)" that Japanese people often eat are rich in vitamin B12. Both are completely different from the black grilled seaweed used in Sushi that's J classic delicacy.
Approximately 90% of J people have intestinal bacteria with genes that can digest raw seaweed, whereas non-J's have very few bacteria. This intestinal function is thought to evolve by ingesting marine bacteria on J long history of liking seafood.
I'm no expert and don't know if a non-J's intestines can digest these dried seaweeds. In general, Intestinal flora transplantation is still not a mainstream treatment for changing or strengthening intestinal function.
However, tasting these seaweeds is worth a try.
These processed foods are easy to handle, contain vitamins B1, B2, C, Iron and other important nutrients, and I think they go well with a variety of dishes.

  • @matzmatz

I wonder what this curry rice tastes like. It may taste strange to the Japanese who are used to eating curry.
Easier to buy commercial gluten-free curry roux if gluten-free is preferred.

  • @indisummers4385
    @indisummers4385 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

While I don't doubt that this is delicious, this doesn't exactly scream Japanese curry to me. Japanese curry uses red wine, Worcestershire, Ketchup, brown curry (S&B is pretty awesome), some use apple or Korean pear, and some even use chocolate. It also doesn't use yogurt or flour. Again, beautiful curry, but I don't know how "Japanese" it is. For herbs from scratch, you also need: Fenugreek, Orange Peel, Cinnamon, Fennel, Star Anise, Thyme, bay leaves, cloves, nutmeg, and sage. :/
    This curry looks more Indian.
