To me Gojira creates archetypes. Hear me out... They sound like a villain who torn between good and evil. Oh we got lots of nice singing and soulful heartache -but we also got Vader at the end of Rogue One.
      Gojira are perfect.

@NM-xi8or I was not discussing music taste or anything, you can think that they are overated that's fine to me. But regarding "effortless" accuracy live like you said, they are on another level than Gojira and Pantera. There is no need to debate it, that's a fact. If you're a musician you can't deny it

Festival itself is paid for by the sponsors and the attendance is free for everyone.

It is not that much about the nationality as about the fest itself. It's Polish Woodstock festival. However, they had to change the name of the fest last year. It is the biggest open air free festival, no tickets, hence so many people. And it actually doesn't matter if it is metal or reggae concert. There is no other place like that in the whole country, it is an enclave of real freedom. This is our sacred place and we celebrate each concert there that way. We warmly invite you to come and be happy with this extraordinary community we have there. The fest takes place on the Polish-German border on the first weekend of August. If Gojira wins the Golden Spinning award in the voting of Woodstock fans, they should come again to receive the award. This is how it usually works with Woodstock. However, big foreign bands rarely come for the award.

They came out to Flying Whales, so that slow intro started right after the lights went off. They all come out lookin' like Metallica from the 80's, all in black and wristbands. We started walking up to the stage and that shit hit... it was like we were walking in to a wall. There's no describing it. I was instantly hooked. There were a lot of memorable moments from that show, but to this day, my brother and I still talk about the first time Gojira hit us in the face with sound. No lookin' back since.

Going through a rough patch of depression right now, and this video gave me so much life. First thing in a week that's had any positive effect on me. Gojira is life! So proud of them making it to this level, and without the help of pop music and love ballads :). Easily one of the most important metal bands of the 21st century, and could definitely go down as one of the greats of all time. Magical 🤘

Keep ya head up and embrace this band from a different planet. Gojira is love on so many levels. Amazing how their magic can uplift us. You got this pal! 🤘🏽
      Last verse from Vacuity:
“Remain in what you are, the center of your life
You made it to this point, no one can tell you how
You crawled and bled all the way but you were the only one
That was tearing your soul apart, you finally find yourself.”

Love it that people jump right in, give some love... we bond over great (yes, magical) music. Gojira getting me through a rough time also, day by bloody day. Just survive... and eventually you thrive.

@uber lucario - former 'Przystanek Woodstock' Festival, held since 1995. inspired by the original woodstock festival. it's a free festival, funded only by donations.!! - yes, the entry is free.!!:) - last year 800k, since 2011 about 600k-700k every year. absolutely insane how this is pulled.
